Dynamic Effect of Landslides Triggered by Earthquake:A Case Study in Moxi Town of Luding County,China

The dynamic effect is a very important issue widely debated by scholars when studying the genetic and disaster-causing mechanisms of earthquake-triggered ***,the dynamic effect mechanism and phenomena of earthquake-triggered landslides were summarized in this ***,the primary types of dynamic effects were further used to interpret the Mogangling landslide in Moxi Town of Luding County,China.A field investigation,remote sensing,numerical calculation and theoretical analysis were carried out to illustrate the failure mechanism of slope rock masses affected by *** interaction between seismic waves and slope rock masses and the induced dynamic effect of slope rock masses were primarily accounted for in the *** slope topography,rock mass weathering and unloading characteristics,river erosion,regional seismogenic structure,and rock mass structure characteristics were also *** results showed that the formation of the Mogangling landslide was mainly related to the high amplification effect of seismic acceleration and back slope effects,interface dynamic stress effects,and double-sided slope effects of seismic waves caused by the catastrophic Ms 7.75 Moxi Earthquake in *** principles for the site and route selection of large-scale infrastructure in the planning stage and the scientific prevention of seismic geological disasters were proposed on the basis of the dynamic effect of earthquake-induced landslides.

The combination of horseradish peroxidase(HRP)and a fluorescence substrate has been attracting great interests in developing sensitive biochemical analysis and immunoassays.10-Acetyl-3,7-dihydroxyphenoxazine(ADHP or Amplex red)is the most sensitive fluorogenic substrate known for HRP in current market,however,it suffers from some drawbacks,such as non-specific reactivity to carboxylesterase and limited fluorescence *** the present study,a novel HRP substrate10-cyclopropylcarbonyl-dichloro-dihydroxyphenoxazine(AR-2),has been prepared,which exhibited improved sensitivity than ADHP in sensing ***,the fluorescence of AR-2/HRP demonstrated improved tolerance to physiological relevant p H fluctuation as compared to ADHP/*** detection of uric acid/urate oxidase reaction indicated excellent application prospect of AR-2/HRP for monitoring H_(2)O_(2)-generating biochemical *** interestingly,an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)using AR-2 as the fluorescence reporter has been successfully used in detecting IgG against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)from human serum ***,AR-2 exhibits improved performances over the commercial ADHP,which will be an ideal alternative to ADHP in HRP-based fluorescence biochemical analysis and immunoassays.

Liquid-metals-induced formation of MXene/polyacrylamide composite organohydrogels for wearable flexible electronics

Organohydrogels have demonstrated superior environmental adaptability and frost resistance compared to conventional hydrogels,thereby prompting considerable interests in the development and design of innovative ***,we report an effective one-pot method for fabricating MXene/polyacrylamide(MXene/PAM)composite organohydrogel(MAOH)by employing Ga liquid metals(Ga LMs)as a highly reactive component in the induced free radical polymerization reaction,without the need for additional heating or cross-linking *** synthetic protocol addresses the time-consuming and organic solvent waste concerns associated with traditional solvent displacement methods for organohydrogel *** incorporation of MXene not only highly enhances the conductivity but also confers improved mechanical properties of *** MAOH exhibits excellent environmental adaptability(>7 d),sustained moisture retention,remarkable self-healing capabilities,and outstanding mechanical properties under low temperatures(-20℃).It demonstrates exceptional performance in micro-motion monitoring,rapid response time(125 ms),superior stretchability,and a broad range of strains(0.3%–600%).Therefore,the designed MAOH has great potential for applications in diverse fields such as prosthetics,electronic skin,human–machine interaction,and smart terminals.

In modern science and engineering disciplines,data-driven discovery methods play a fundamental role in system modeling,as data serve as the external representations of the intrinsic mechanisms within ***,empirical data contaminated by process and measurement noise remain a significant obstacle for this type of *** this study,we have developed a data-driven method capable of directly uncovering linear dynamical systems from noisy *** method combines the Kalman smoothing and sparse Bayesian learning to decouple process and measurement noise under the expectation-maximization framework,presenting an analytical method for alternate state estimation and system ***,the discovered model explicitly characterizes the probability distribution of process and measurement noise,as they are essential for filtering,smoothing,and stochastic *** have successfully applied the proposed algorithm to several simulation *** results demonstrate its potential to enable linear dynamical system discovery in practical applications where noise-free data are intractable to capture.

Lateral predictive coding is a recurrent neural network that creates energy-efficient internal representations by exploiting statistical regularity in sensory ***,we analytically investigate the trade-off between information robustness and energy in a linear model of lateral predictive coding and numerically minimize a free energy *** observed several phase transitions in the synaptic weight matrix,particularly a continuous transition that breaks reciprocity and permutation symmetry and builds cyclic dominance and a discontinuous transition with the associated sudden emergence of tight balance between excitatory and inhibitory *** optimal network follows an ideal gas law over an extended temperature range and saturates the efficiency upper bound of energy *** results provide theoretical insights into the emergence and evolution of complex internal models in predictive processing systems.

Decreased Nrf2 protein level and low sperm quality in intractable spermatocystitis

To investigate the molecular etiology of low sperm quality in patients with intractable spermatocystitis,spermatozoa samples from patients with persistent hematospermia undergoing transurethral seminal vesiculoscopy and healthy volunteers were *** samples were collected from the seminal vesicles through transurethral seminal vesiculoscopy or by masturbation *** quality was analyzed by a WLJY-9000 color semen analysis *** of tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNFa)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the seminal plasma was performed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Measurement of H_(2)O_(2)in the seminal plasma was performed with a hydrogen peroxide *** protein levels of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)and phosphorylated-Nrf2(p-Nrf2)were measured by western blot analysis and immunofluorescence *** sperm quality parameters and increased levels of inflammatory cytokines(TNFa,IL-6,and H_(2)O_(2))in the seminal plasma were detected among the semen samples from the patients with persistent ***2 and p-Nrf2 were strongly expressed in the nucleus and periphery of human sperm cells,according to the results of the immunofluorescence *** protein levels of Nrf2 and p-Nrf2 were significantly lower in the spermatozoa samples from patients with persistent hematospermia than in those from healthy volunteers with normal sperm *** results suggested that Nrf2 signaling might play a role in the low sperm quality of patients with intractable spermatocystitis.

Deep Video Harmonization by Improving Spatial-temporal Consistency

Video harmonization is an important step in video editing to achieve visual consistency by adjusting foreground appear-ances in both spatial and temporal *** methods always only harmonize on a single scale or ignore the inaccuracy of flow estimation,which leads to limited harmonization *** this work,we propose a novel architecture for video harmoniza-tion by making full use of spatiotemporal features and yield temporally consistent harmonized *** introduce multiscale harmon-ization by using nonlocal similarity on each scale to make the foreground more consistent with the *** also propose a fore-ground temporal aggregator to dynamically aggregate neighboring frames at the feature level to alleviate the effect of inaccurate estim-ated flow and ensure temporal *** experimental results demonstrate the superiority of our method over other state-of-the-art methods in both quantitative and visual comparisons.

Low-temperature processed electron transport layer(ETL)of TiO_(2)that is widely used in planar perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has inherent low carrier mobility,resulting in insufficient photogenerated elec-tron transport and thus recombination loss at buried ***,we demonstrate an effective strategy of laser embedding of p-n homojunctions in the TiO_(2)ETL to accelerate electron transport in PSCs,through localized build-in electric fields that enables boosted electron mobility by two orders of *** embedding is found significantly helpful for not only the enhanced crystallization quality of TiO_(2)ETL,but the fabrication of perovskite films with larger-grain and the *** embedded p-n homojunction enables also the modulation of interfacial energy level between perovskite layers and ETLs,favoring for the reduced voltage deficit of *** from these merits,the formamidinium lead iodide(FAPbI_(3))PSCs employing such ETLs deliver a champion efficiency of 25.50%,along with much-improved device stability under harsh condi-tions,i.e.,maintain over 95%of their initial efficiency after operation at maximum power point under continuous heat and illumination for 500 h,as well as mixed-cation PSCs with a champion efficiency of 22.02%and over 3000 h of ambient storage under humidity stability of 40%.Present study offers new possibilities of regulating charge transport layers via p-n homojunction embedding for high performance optoelectronics.

Preparation and properties of Ti_(3)SiC(2) -based corrosion mitigation coatings for SiC_(f) /SiC PWR accident tolerant fuel cladding

To enhance the resistance of SiC_(f)/SiC to hydrothermal corrosion in the pressurized water reactor(PWR)environment,structurally tunable Ti_(3)SiC(2)-based corrosion mitigation coatings for SiC_(f)/SiC were prepared using molten salt *** influence of various process parameters,such as Si/Ti molar ratio in raw materials,annealing time,and annealing temperature,on the phase composition and the structure of the coatings was *** the process control,the fabricated coatings can be either Ti_(3)SiC(2) monolithic structure or TiC/Ti_(3)SiC(2) and TiC/Ti_(3)SiC(2)/Ti_(5)Si_(3)C_(x) multilayered *** coatings demonstrate strong bonding to the substrate due to in-situ reaction,exhibiting tensile and shear strength of at least 26.9 and 30.8 MPa,*** TiC as a transition layer further enhances the tensile and shear strength to 41.3 and 51.4 MPa,*** Ti_(3)SiC(2) coatings enhance the thermal conductivity of SiC_(f)/SiC by 10%–12%.Notably,Ti_(3)SiC(2) coatings effectively protect SiC_(f)/SiC from hydrothermal corrosion,demonstrating an 83%strength retention rate compared to 71%in the control group after ***,the Ti5Si3Cx layer exhibits unsatisfactory corrosion *** Ti_(3)SiC(2) monolithic coating has higher thermal conductivity,TiC/Ti_(3)SiC(2) multi-layered coating has higher bonding strength,and both have desirable resistance to the hydrothermal corrosion.
