Plasma-catalysis is considered as one of the most promising technologies for antibiotic degradation in *** the plasma-catalytic system,one of the factors affecting the degradation effect is the performance of the photocatalyst,which is usually restricted by the rapid recombination of electrons and holes as well as narrow light absorption *** this research,a photocatalyst g-C_(3)N_(4)/TiO_(2) was prepared and coupled with gas-liquid discharge(GLD)to degrade tetracycline(TC).The performance was examined,and the degradation pathways and mechanisms were *** show that a 90%degradation rate is achieved in the GLD with g-C_(3)N_(4)/TiO_(2) over a 10 min *** the pulse voltage is conducive to increasing the degradation rate,whereas the addition of excessive g-C_(3)N_(4)/TiO_(2) tends to precipitate agglomerates,resulting in a poor degradation *** redox properties of the g-C_(3)N_(4)/TiO_(2) surface promote the generation of oxidizing active species(H2O2,O3)in *** quenching experiments showed that·OH,hole(h^(+)),play important roles in the TC degradation by the discharge with g-C_(3)N_(4)/TiO_(2).Two potential degradation pathways were proposed based on the *** toxicity of tetracycline was reduced by treatment in the ***,the g-C_(3)N_(4)/TiO_(2) composites exhibited excellent recoverability and stability.

Currently,the major challenge in terms of research on K-ion batteries is to ensure that they possess satisfactory cycle stability and specific capacity,especially in terms of the intrinsically sluggish kinetics induced by the large radius of K+***,we explore high-performance K-ion half/full batteries with high rate capability,high specific capacity,and extremely durable cycle stability based on carbon nanosheets with tailored N dopants,which can alleviate the change of volume,increase electronic conductivity,and enhance the K+ion *** as-assembled K-ion half-batteries show an excellent rate capability of 468 mA h g^(−1) at 100 mA g^(−1),which is superior to those of most carbon materials reported to ***,the as-assembled half-cells have an outstanding life span,running 40,000 cycles over 8 months with a specific capacity retention of 100%at a high current density of 2000 mA g^(−1),and the target full cells deliver a high reversible specific capacity of 146 mA h g^(−1) after 2000 cycles over 2 months,with a specific capacity retention of 113%at a high current density of 500 mA g^(−1),both of which are state of the art in the field of K-ion *** study might provide some insights into and potential avenues for exploration of advanced K-ion batteries with durable stability for practical applications.

Objective:To assess the risk of aristolochic acid(AA)-associated cancer in patients with AA nephropathy(AAN).Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on patients diagnosed with AAN at Peking University First Hospital from January 1997 to December ***-term surveillance and follow-up data were analyzed to investigate the influence of different factors on the prevalence of *** primary endpoint was the incidence of liver cancer,and the secondary endpoint was the incidence of urinary cancer during 1 year after taking AA-containing medication to ***:A total of 337 patients diagnosed with AAN were included in this *** the initiation of taking AA to the termination of follow-up,39 patients were diagnosed with *** cases of liver cancer were observed throughout the entire follow-up period,with urinary cancer being the predominant type(34/39,87.17%).Logistic regression analysis showed that age,follow-up period,and diabetes were potential risk factors,however,the dosage of the drug was not significantly associated with urinary ***:No cases of liver cancer were observed at the end of ***,a high prevalence of urinary cancer was observed in AAN *** a direct causality between AA and HCC is challenging.

Dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)is considered as a promising technique to produce large volume uniform plasma at atmospheric pressure,and the dielectric barrier layer between the electrodes plays a key role in the DBD processes and enhancing discharge *** this work,the uniformity and discharge characteristics of the nanosecond(ns)pulsed DBD with dielectric barrier layers made of alumina,quartz glass,polycarbonate(PC),and polypropylene(PP)are investigated via discharge image observation,voltage-current waveform measurement and optical emission spectral *** analyzing discharge image by gray value standard deviation method,the discharge uniformity is quantitatively *** effects of the space electric field intensity,the electron density(Ne),and the space reactive species on the uniformity are studied with quantifying the gap voltage Ug and the discharge current Ig,analyzing the recorded optical emission spectra,and simulating the temporal distribution of Ne with a one-dimensional fluid *** is found that as the relative permittivity of the dielectric materials increases,the space electric field intensity is enhanced,which results in a higher Ne and electron temperature(Te).Therefore,an appropriate value of space electric field intensity can promote electron avalanches,resulting in uniform and stable plasma by the merging of electron ***,an excessive value of space electric field intensity leads to the aggregation of space charges and the distortion of the space electric field,which reduce the discharge *** surface roughness and the surface charge decay are measured to explain the influences of the surface properties and the second electron emission on the discharge *** results in this work give a comprehensive understanding of the effect of the dielectric materials on the DBD uniformity,and contribute to the selection of dielectric materials for DBD reactor and the realization of atmospheric pre

Sustainable nitrogen fixation driven by renewable energy sources under mild conditions has been widely sought to replace the industrial Haber-Bosch *** fixation of nitrogen in the form of NOx-and NH4+into aqueous solutions using electricity-driven gas-liquid discharge plasma is considered a promising *** this paper,a scalable bubble discharge excited by nanosecond pulse power is employed for nitrogen fixation in the liquid *** nitrogen fixation performance and the mechanisms are analyzed by varying the power supply parameters,working gas flow rate and *** results show that an increase in voltage and frequency can result in an enhanced *** in the gas flow rate can result in inadequate activation of the working gas,which together with more inefficient mass transfer efficiencies can reduce the *** addition of O2effectively elevates NO3-production while simultaneously inhibiting NH4+*** addition of H2O vapor increases the production of OH and H,thereby promoting the generation of reactive nitrogen and enhancing the yield of nitrogen ***,the excessive addition of O2and H2O vapor results in negative effect on the yield of nitrogen fixation,due to the significant weakening of the discharge *** optimal nitrogen fixation yield was up to 16.5 μmol/min,while the optimal energy consumption was approximately 21.3 MJ/mol in this ***,the mechanism related to nitrogen fixation is discussed through the optical emission spectral（OES） information in conjunction with the simulation of energy loss paths in the plasma by BOLSIG+.The work advances knowledge of the effect of parameter variations on nitrogen fixation by gas-liquid discharge for higher yield and energy production.

Changes in protein abundance and reversible protein phosphorylation(RPP)play important roles in regulating hypometabolism but have never been documented in overwintering frogs at high *** test the hypothesis that protein abundance and phosphorylation change in response to winter hibernation,we conducted a comprehensive and quantitative proteomic and phosphoproteomic analysis of the liver of the Xizang plateau frog,Nanorana parkeri,living on the Qinghai-Xizang *** total,5170 proteins and 5695 phosphorylation sites in 1938 proteins were *** on proteomic analysis,674 differentially expressed proteins(438 up-regulated,236 down-regulated)were screened in hibernating *** versus summer *** enrichment analysis revealed that higher expressed proteins in winter were significantly enriched in immune-related signaling pathways,whereas lower expressed proteins were mainly involved in metabolic processes.A total of 4251 modified sites(4147 up-regulated,104 down-regulated)belonging to 1638 phosphoproteins(1555 up-regulated,83 down-regulated)were significantly changed in the *** hibernation,RPP regulated a diverse array of proteins involved in multiple functions,including metabolic enzymatic activity,ion transport,protein turnover,signal transduction,and alternative *** changes contribute to enhancing protection,suppressing energy-consuming processes,and inducing metabolic ***,the activities of phosphofructokinase,glutamate dehydrogenase,and ATPase were all significantly lower in winter compared to *** conclusion,our results support the hypothesis and demonstrate the importance of RPP as a regulatory mechanism when animals transition into a hypometabolic state.

Transcriptional regulation is essential for balancing multiple metabolic pathways that influence oil accumulation in *** far,the transcriptional regulatory mechanisms that govern seed oil accumulation remain largely ***,we identified the transcriptional regulatory network composed of MADS-box transcription factors SEEDSTICK(STK)and SEPALLATA3(SEP3),which bridges several key genes to regulate oil accumulation in *** found that STK,highly expressed in the developing embryo,positively regulates seed oil accumulation in Arabidopsis(Arabidopsis thaliana).Furthermore,we discovered that SEP3 physically interacts with STK in vivo and in *** oil content is increased by the SEP3 mutation,while it is decreased by SEP3 *** chromatin immunoprecipitation,electrophoretic mobility shift assay,and transient dual-luciferase reporter assays showed that STK positively regulates seed oil accumulation by directly repressing the expression of MYB5,SEP3,and SEED FATTY ACID REDUCER 4(SFAR4).Moreover,genetic and molecular analyses demonstrated that STK and SEP3 antagonistically regulate seed oil production and that SEP3 weakens the binding ability of STK to MYB5,SEP3,and ***,we demonstrated that TRANSPARENT TESTA 8(TT8)and ACYL-ACYL CARRIER PROTEIN DESATURASE 3(AAD3)are direct targets of MYB5 during seed oil accumulation in ***,our findings provide the transcriptional regulatory network antagonistically orchestrated by STK and SEP3,which fine tunes oil accumulation in seeds.
