A low-profile dual-broadband dual-circularly-polarized reflectarray for K-/Ka-band space applications

A low-profile dual-broadband dual-circularly-polarized(dual-CP)reflectarray(RA)is proposed and demonstrated,supporting independent beamforming for right-/left-handed CP waves at both K-band and *** functionality is achieved by incorporating multi-layered phase shifting elements individually operating in the K-and Ka-band,which are then interleaved in a shared aperture,resulting in a cell thickness of only about *** rotating the designed K-and Ka-band elements around their own geometrical centers,the dual-CP waves in each band can be modulated *** reduce the overall profile,planar K-/Ka-band dual-CP feeds with a broad band are designed based on the magnetoelectric dipoles and multi-branch hybrid *** planar feeds achieve bandwidths of about 32%and 26%at K-and Ka-band respectively with reflection magnitudes below-13 dB,an axial ratio smaller than 2 dB,and a gain variation of less than 1 dB.A proof-of-concept dual-band dual-CP RA integrated with the planar feeds is fabricated and characterized which is capable of generating asymmetrically distributed dual-band dual-CP *** measured peak gain values of the beams are around 24.3 and 27.3 dBic,with joint gain variation0.6%and 14.6%at the lower and higher bands,*** demonstrated dual-broadband dual-CP RA with four degrees of freedom of beamforming could be a promising candidate for space and satellite communications.

Objective: Huazhi Rougan granules(HRGs) are a promising drug to improve alcoholic liver disease(ALD), but its mechanism remains unclear. Materials and Methods: Network pharmacology, molecular docking, and animal experiments were used to reveal the potential mechanism of HRG against ALD. Results: A total of 245 potential targets of HRG against ALD were obtained. Functional enrichment analysis suggests that HRG could synergistically regulate various biological pathways to exert therapeutic effects on ALD. Molecular docking showed that the key targets exhibited the good binding ability with the key compounds. The in vivo experiments showed that HRG can effectively alleviate pathological changes in liver tissue, improve blood lipid levels, antioxidant stress ability, and liver function, and reduce the release of inflammatory cytokines in the liver. Conclusions: This study reflects that HRG is an effective strategy for treating ALD, providing a basis for revealing the prevention and treatment mechanisms of ALD.

Development of 400-μW cryogen-free dilution refrigerators for quantum experiments

We have successfully developed cryogen-free dilution refrigerators with medium cooling power that can be applied to quantum experiments. Breakthroughs have been made in some key technologies and components of heat switches and dilution units. Our prototype has been running continuously and stably for more than 100 hours below 10 m K, with a minimum temperature of 7.6 m K and a cooling power of 450 μW at 100 m K. At the same time, we have also made progress in the application of dilution refrigerators, such as quantum computing, low-temperature detector, and magnet integration. These indicators and test results indicate good prospects for application in physics, astronomy, and quantum information.

Reproducibility study of intravoxel incoherent motion and apparent diffusion coefficient parameters in normal pancreas

BACKGROUND The consistency of pancreatic apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)values and intravoxel incoherent motion(IVIM)parameter values across different magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)devices significantly impacts the patient’s diagnosis and *** To explore consistency in image quality,ADC values,and IVIM parameter values among different MRI devices in pancreatic *** This retrospective study was approved by the local ethics committee,and informed consent was obtained from all *** total,22 healthy volunteers(10 males and 12 females)aged 24-61 years(mean,28.9±2.3 years)underwent pancreatic diffusion-weighted imaging using 3.0T MRI equipment from three *** independent observers subjectively scored image quality and measured the pancreas’s overall ADC values and signal-to-noise ratios(SNRs).Subsequently,regions of interest(ROIs)were delineated for the IVIM parameters(true diffusion coefficient,pseudo-diffusion coefficient,and perfusion fraction)using post-processing *** ROIs were on the head,body,and tail of the *** subjective image ratings were assessed using the kappa consistency *** correlation coefficients(ICCs)and mixed linear models were used to evaluate each device’s quantitative parameter ***,a pairwise analysis of IVIM parameter values across each device was performed using Bland-Altman *** The Kappa value for the subjective ratings of the different observers was 0.776(P0.05).The ICC values for interobserver and intra-observer agreements for the quantitative parameters were 0.803[95% confidence interval(CI):0.684-0.880]and 0.883(95%CI:0.760-0.945),respectively(P0.05).The ICCs for the SNR between different devices was comparable(P>0.05),and the ICCs for the ADC values from different devices were 0.870,0.707,and 0.808,respectively(P0.05).Notably,only a few statistically significant inter-device agreements were observed for different IVIM parameters,and among t
