Nickel-manganese binary layered oxides with high working potential and low cost are potential candidates for sodium-ion batteries,but their electrochemical properties are highly related to compositional *** composite materials with various phase structures of P3,P2.P3,P2.P2.O3,and P2.P3/O3 were synthesized by manipulating the sodium content and calcination conditions,leading to the construction of a synthetic phase diagram for Na_(x)Ni_(0.2.)Mn_(0.75)O_(2.(0.45≤x≤1.1..Then,we compared the electrochemical characteristics and structural evolution during the desodiation/sodiation process of P2.P2.P3,P2.03,and P2.P3/O3-Na_(x)Ni_(0.2.)Mn_(0.75)O_(2..Among them,P2.P3-Na0.75Ni0.2.Mn0.75O2.xhibits the best rate capability of 90.9 mA h g^(-1.at 5 C,with an initial discharge capacity of 1.2.62.mA h g^(-1.at 0.1.C and a capacity retention rate of 78.2.%after 1.0 cycles at 1.C in the voltage range of 2.4.3 *** observed superior sodium storage performance of P2.P3 hybrids compared to other composite phases can be attributed to the enhanced Na^(+)transfer dynamic,reduction of the Jahn-teller effect,and improved reaction reversibility induced by the synergistic effect of P2.and P3 *** systematic research and exploration of phases in Na_(x)Ni_(0.2.)Mn_(0.75)O_(2.provide new sights into high-performance nickel-manganese binary layered oxide for sodium-ion batteries.

Sources appointment and health risks of PM_(2.5)-bound trace elements in a coastal city of southeastern china

To gain a comprehensive understanding of sources and health risks of trace elements in an area of china with high population densities and low PM_(2.5)concentrations,1. trace elements(Al,K,Ca,Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Sn,Ba,Pb)in PM_(2.5)were monitored from December 2.2. to November 2.2.1}in a representative city,*** concentrations of trace elements in Xiamen displayed an obvious seasonal variation and were dominated by K,Fe,Al,Ca and *** on Positive Matrix Factorization analysis,source appointment revealed that the major sources of trace elements in Xiamen were traffic,dust,biomass and firework combustion,industrial manufacture and shipping *** to health risk assessment com{1.ed with the source appointment results,it indicated that the average noncarcinogenic risk was below the threshold and cancer risk of four hazardous metals(Cr,Ni,As,Pb)exceeded the threshold(1.^(-6)).Traffic-related source had almost half amount of contribution to the health risk induced by PM_(2.5)-bound trace *** the dust transport period or Spring Festival period,the health risks exceeded an acceptable threshold even an order of magnitude higher,suggesting that the serious health risks still existed in low PM_(2.5)environment at certain *** risk assessment reminded that the health risk reduction in PM_(2.5)at southeastern china should prioritize traffic-related hazardous trace elements and highlighted the importance of controlling vehicles emissions in the future.

Rapid lithium-ion insertion/extraction and migration behavior of Na_(2.WO_(4)-encapsulated lithium-rich layered oxide cathode

Due to the low cost,high working voltage and high storage capacity,li-rich Mn-based layered compounds show promise as the cathode materials for lithiumion batteries(liBs).However,the side reactions at the solid-liquid interface of the cathode will lead to rapid capacity decay and inferior rate ***,this article proposes a liquid-phase dispersion strategy to introduce a Na_(2.WO_(4)layer on the li_(1.2.Ni_(0.1.)-Co_(0.1.)Mn_(0.54)O_(2. cathode,which can reduce the side effects between raw materials and electrolyte and promote the insertion/extraction rate of li^(+),thus enhancing the material stability and rate *** a result,the capacity retention rate is 96.9%after 2.0 cycles under ***,the capacities are 1.7.5,1.9.5,1.1.1.and58.3 mAh·g^(-1.at 1.,2.,5C and 1.C,implying a superior fast charging *** exceptional performance can be ascribed to both the increased conductivity and enhanced structural stability of the cathode ***'s more,based on the investigation of ion insertion/extraction behavior in electrode materials and the ion migration kinetics in the electrolyte,this study suggests that coating li-rich Mn-based materials with Na_(2.WO_(4)can be a promising strategy to improve their performance in liBs.

Immunomodulatory Function of Pien Tze Huang in T Cell-Mediated Anti-tumor Activity against B1.-F1.,MC38 and Hep1.6 Tumor Models

Objective To investigate the anti-tumor effects of Pien Tze Huang(PZH)in mouse models of B1.–F1. melanoma,MC38 colorectal cancer,Hep1.6 hepatocellular carcinoma and chemically induced hepatocellular carcinoma *** Various tumor models,including B1.–F1.,MC38 and Hep1.6 tumor hypodermic inoculation models,B1.–F1. and Hep1.6 pulmonary metastasis models,Hep1.6 orthotopic implantation model,and chemically induced hepatocellular carcinoma model,were utilized to evaluate the anti-tumor function of *** growth was assessed by measuring tumor size and weight of solid tumors isolated from C57BL/6 *** cell proliferation and death of tumor cells in vitro,as well as T cell activation markers,cytokine production and immune checkpoints analysis,single-cell suspensions were prepared from mouse spleen,lymph nodes,and tumors after PZH *** PZH demonstrated significant therapeutic efficacy in inhibiting tumor growth(P1..Treatment with PZH resulted in a reduction in tumor size in subcutaneous MC38 colon adenocarcinoma and B1.–F1. melanoma models,and decreased pulmonary metastasis of B1.–F1. melanoma and Hep1.6 hepatoma(P1..However,in vitro experiments showed that PZH only had slight impact on the cell proliferation and survival of tumor cells(P>0.05).Nevertheless,PZH exhibited a remarkable ability to enhance T cell activation and the production of interferon gamma,tumor necrosis factor alpha,and interleukin 2.in CD4^(+)T cells in vitro(P1.or P1.or P<0.05).Conclusion This study has confirmed a novel immunomodulatory function of PZH in T cell-mediated anti-tumor immunity,indicating that PZH holds promise as a potential therapeutic agent for cancer treatment.

Improving landscape connectivity through habitat restoration:application for Asian elephant conservation in Xishuangbanna Prefecture,china

Habitat restoration is an effective method for improving landscape connectivity,which can reduce habitat *** landscape connectivity could promote connections between habitat,which is extremely essential to preserve gene flow and population *** study proposes a methodological framework to analyze landscape connectivity for Asian elephant habitat conservation,aiming to provide practical options for reducing habitat fragmentation and improving habitat *** approach involved combining a species distribution model using MaxEnt and landscape functional connectivity models using graph theory to assess the impact on connectivity improvement via farmland/plantation restoration as *** results showed that:(1.there were 1.9 suitable habitat patches of Asian elephant covering a total area of 1.52.41.km^(2..(2.The connectivity between habitats improved significantly after vegetation restoration and the gain first decreased and then increased with the increase of dispersal distance.(3)The first few new habitat patches that were identified played an important role in improving connectivity,and the variation rate of connectivity gradually leveled off as the number of new habitats increased.(4)Prioritization of the 2. best new habitat patches increased connectivity from 0.54%to 5.59%as the dispersal distance increased and mainly was located between two Asian elephant distribution regions and two *** of new habitat patches was effective for improving or restoring *** findings can be used as guidance for improving the studied fragmented Asian elephant habitats,and they can also be used as a reference for the habitat restoration of other endangered species heavily affected by habitat fragmentation.

Enhancing solar-driven overall water splitting via both sacrifice and noble metal free photocatalysis: copper cluster/boron-doped carbon nitride catalysts

The major impediment to the additional industrialization of water splitting is the high cost of the co-catalyst made of noble metals and the sacrificial reagent. A {2.ary photocatalytic system, consisting of B-doped g-C3N4nanosheets(Cu2.@BCN-X) and atomically accurate copper clusters, is designed in this study. The copper clusters serve as co-catalysts for H2.volution and exhibit Pt-like activity, whereas the nanosheets serve as carriers and semiconductor components for O2.volution. Such {2.ary system, created using simple techniques, demonstrates hydrogen bonding interactions that promote synergistic effects and efficient {2.ding and charge transfer across the interface between the two components. Band position manipulation of carbon nitride nanosheets demonstrates a Z-scheme charge transfer mechanism between the nanosheets and copper clusters. This photocatalytic system can accomplish the photocatalytic overall water splitting process(2.9.9 μmol g-1.-1.f H2.nd 1.9.4 μmol g-1.-1.f O2. without using sacrificial agents or noble metal co-catalysts. This work lays the foundation for the design of overall water splitting catalysts by precisely manipulating the energy levels, and it also paves the way for commercialized photocatalytic catalysts that do not require noble metals or sacrificial chemicals.

The pollution of atmospheric ozone in china shows an obvious upward trend in the past ***,the studies on the atmospheric oxidation capacity and O_(3)formation in four seasons in the southeastern coastal region of china with the rapid urbanization remain ***,a four-season field observation was carried out in a coastal city of southeast china,using an observation-based model combining with the Master Chemical Mechanism,to explore the atmospheric oxidation capacity(AOC),radical chemistry,O_(3)formation pathways and *** results showed that the average net O_(3)production rate(1..55 ppbv/hr)in summer was the strongest,but the average O_(3)concentrations in autumn was *** AOC and ROx levels presented an obvious seasonal pattern with the maximum value in summer,while the OH reactivity in winter was the highest with an average value of 2..75 sec^(-1..The OH reactivity was dominated by oxygenated VOCs(OVOCs)(30.6%-42.8%),CO(2..2.-2..8%),NO_(2.(1..6%-2..0%),and alkenes(8.4%-1..5%)in different *** photolysis dominated OH primary source on daytime in winter,while in other seasons,HONO photolysis in the morning and ozone photolysis in the afternoon contributed *** analysis indicated that O_(3)production was controlled by VOCs in spring,autumn and winter,but a VOC-limited and NOx-limited regime in summer,and alkene and aromatic species were the major controlling factors to O_(3)***,the study characterized the atmospheric oxidation capacity and elucidated the controlling factors for O_(3)production in the coastal area with the rapid urbanization in china.

Antigen rapid diagnostic tests(Ag-RDTs)have been considered and implemented as an important diagnostic and screening tool to identify SARS-CoV-2.infections in community settings.1.Ag-RDTs are less sensitive,particularly in asymptomatic populations,compared with laboratorybased viral nucleic acid amplification tests(NAATs)such as reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).2.However,taking into account the facts that Ag-RDTs are effective for identifying most contagious individuals,they are faster and less expensive than RT-PCR,as well as that RT-PCR could produce positive results for weeks to months after the infection,2.WHO recommends Ag-RDTs be offered as COVID-1. self-testing for screening purposes in addition to professionally administered testing services regardless of the community transmission level.
