A new organization and management mechanism with the local government as the main body was created during the post-disaster reconstruction of the "4. 20 " Lushan earthquake,in which the experiences and lessons were drawn from the "5. 12"Wenchuan earthquake. Correspondingly, the local government conducted an exploration of the organization and management mode in the field of planning and construction. The effective experiences have been accumulated, including working out a full coverage planning,taking the leading part in the urban-rural planning,and exercising whole space control over the disaster area. An innovation management mode named as "Five Generals Pattern"was implemented in the construction projects. In view that the rural housing reconstruction was a weak link, a new approach to improving the construction management was investigated,by means of strengthening on-site supervision,establishing a technical platform,and bolstering public participation.

Intermolecular synergistic adsorption of indole and carbonyl groups induced by intermolecular hydrogen bonding makes microporous organic polymer(PTICBL)exhibit high CO2 uptake capacity(5.3 mmol·g^-1at 273 K)and selectivities(CO2/CH4=53,CO2/N2=107 at 273 K).In addition,we find that indole units in the PTICBL networks inhibit the attachment of bacteria(*** and ***)on the surface of PTICBL and extend its service life in CO2 capture.

Introduction: Multimodality therapy, including preoperative chemoradiotherapy(CRT) and total mesorectal excision(TME), has effectively reduced local recurrence rates of rectal cancer over the past decade. However, the benefits and risks of the addition of neoadjuvant CRT to surgery need to be evaluated. This study was to compare the efficacy of TME with versus without preoperative concurrent chemoradiotherapy(CCRT) involving XELOX regimen(oxaliplatin plus capecitabine) in Chinese patients with stages II and III mid/low rectal ***: We randomly assigned patients to the TME group(TME without preoperative CCRT) or CCRT + TME group(TME with preoperative CCRT). The primary endpoint was disease-free survival(DFS); the secondary endpoints were overall survival(OS), local and distant recurrence, tumor response to CRT, toxicity, sphincter preservation, and surgical complications. An interim analysis of the potential inferiority of DFS in the CCRT + TME group was planned when the first 180 patients had been followed up for at least 6 ***: A total of 94 patients in the TME group and 90 patients in the CCRT + TME group were able to be evaluated. The 3-year DFS and OS rates were 86.3 % and 91.5 % in the whole cohort, respectively. The 3-year DFS rates of the TME and CCRT + TME groups were 85.7% and 87.9 %(P = 0.766), respectively, and the 3-year OS rates were 90.7 % and 92.3 %(P = 0.855), respectively. The functional sphincter preservation rates of the TME and CCRT +TME groups were 71.3 % and 70.0 %(P = 0.849), respectively. In the TME group, 16(17.0 %) patients were proven to have p TNM stage I disease after surgery. In the CCRT + TME group, 32(35.6 %) patients achieved a pathologic complete response(p CR).Conclusions: Preliminary results indicated no significant differences in the DFS, OS, or functional sphincter preservation rates between the TME and CCRT + TME groups. However, preoperative CCRT with XELOX yielded a high p CR rate. Newer technique

This paper presents a new method to increase the waveguide coupling efficiency in hybrid silicon *** find that the propagation constant of the InGaAsP emitting layer can be equal to that of the Si resonant layer through improving the design size of the InP *** coupling power achieves 42% of the total power in the hybrid lasers when the thickness of the bonding layer is 100 *** result is very close to 50% of the total power reported by Intel when the thickness of the thin bonding layer is less than 5 ***,our invariable coupling power technique is simpler than Intel's.

蒋承勇教授,西方文学史专家、博士生导师,已出版《西方文学"人"的母题研究》、《现代文化视野中的西方文学》、《十九世纪现实主义文学的现代阐释》、《英国小说发展史》等文学史研究专著多部,主持编写外国文学教材多种,在《中国社会科学》、《外国文学评论》、《外国文学研究》、《文艺研究》等重要期刊发表论文100余篇。2007年秋,本刊特约记者曾繁亭就"文学史研究"和"文化研究"等话题与他进行了多次对话。蒋教授指出,文化乃文学存活与发展的土壤,文学史研究必须植入到文化史或思想史的框架中才有可能;而基于西方文学的"人学"传统,"人"的母题理应成为我们把握西方文学史的一条红线。针对国内西方文学史研究与书写中的种种缺憾,他强调"思潮研究"的重要意义;并坚持认为文学史必须讲述文学与传统的关系。就当下文学研究中的"文化研究热"以及文学研究中的学风问题,他也旗帜鲜明地表明了自己的立场和观点。

A real-time mathematical model for two dimensional tidal flow and water quality is presented in this paper. The control-volume-based-finite-difference method and the 'power interpolation distribution' advocated by Patankar [4] have been employed, and new boundary condition for tidal flow is recommended. The model is un- conditionally stable and convergent, and able to deal with irregular estuarine topography and movable boundary problems. Practical application of the model is illustrated by an example for the Swatou Bay. A fair agreement be- tween the values measured and computed demonstrates the validity of the model developed.

Fractions of a water insoluble α-(1→3)-D-glucan (GL) extracted from Ganoderma lucidum were carboxy-methylated (CM) to obtain water-soluble carboxymethylated derivatives (CM-GL) having a degree of substitution (DS) of0.38～0.51. Weight-average molecular weight M_w and intrinsic viscosity [η] of the samples CM-GL were measured by gelpermeation chromatography combined with laser light scattering (GPC-LLS) and viscometry. The CM-GL exhibits a stifferchain in aqueous solution at 25℃ than the original glucan, The antitumor activities against Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC,5×10~6) of the carboxymethylated derivatives from the α-glucan and curdlan, a β-glucan, are significantly higher than thoseof the original glucans. The effects of the relatively low molecular weight, expanded chains and better water-solubility of theCM-GL on the enhancement of antitumor activity could not be neglected. The chain stiffness decreased speedily withincrease of temperature from 40 to 60℃ or NaOH concentration from 0.1 to 0.4 in the solution, respectively, and the changeof the chain stiffness is reversible.

Molecular Dynamics of Ultra-thin Lubricating Films under Confined Shear

The molecular dynamics simulation of ultra-thin films under confined shear was performed to investigate the relation between dynamic properties of ultra-thin films and their microstructure. The solid walls were modelled using an Au crystal and the fluid molecules were modeled using decane. The simulation results indicate that the microstructure of ultra-thin films is a kind of solid-like layering structure. The density and velocity profiles of the fluid molecules are symmetric. The slip and shear thinning behavior was founded and interpreted.A mathematic model was set up according to the results of the simulation and experiments.

Waterlogging is a major abiotic stress limiting barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) yield and its stability in areas with excessive *** of genomic regions influencing the response of yield and its components to waterlogging stress will enhance our understanding of the genetics of waterlogging tolerance and the development of more tolerant barley *** trait loci (QTLs) for grain yield and its components were identified using 156 doubled haploid (DH) lines derived from a cross between the cultivars Yerong (waterlogging-tolerant) and Franklin (waterlogging-sensitive) grown under different conditions (waterlogged and well drained).A total of 31 QTLs were identified for the measured characters from two experiments with two growth *** phenotypic variation explained by individual QTLs ranged from 4.74% to 55.34%.Several major QTLs determining kernel weight (KW),grains per spike (GS),spikes per plant (SP),spike length (SL) and grain yield (GY) were detected on the same region of chromosome 2H,indicating close linkage or pleiotropy of the gene(s) controlling these *** different QTLs were identified under waterlogging conditions,and thus different markers may have to be used in selecting cultivars suitable for high rainfall areas.
