The positive parity states in even-even 152-166 Dy are studied systematically in the framework of the interacting boson model(IBM). A cubic term, L = 3, has been added to the hamiltonian in order to produce the effect of triaxiality on the energy spectrum. The potential energy surfaces as a function of β and γ deformation parameters,for all isotopes have been produced. Energy levels and reduced electric quadrupole transition probabilities are calculated in framework of IBM with Cubic term(IBMC). all results are compared with available experimental data. It is found that these isotopes can be described by a schematic hamiltonian in transition from U(5)(vibration) to SU(3)(rotation)dynamic symmetry.

Among the various techniques for enhancing the storage and consumption of energy in a thermal energy storage system,the establishment of thermal stratification in a hot-water container is an effective *** current study aims to assess the performance of the thermal stratification for hot-water containers using(ANSYS Fluent)R.1.0,2022,through the study of the impact of different numbers of paraffin-filled containers,namely 3,5,and 7,that are equivalent to 5,7,and 9 kg of paraffin,*** validate the present numerical model,a comparison between the current study results and the experimental findings from the literature was conducted,and the results demonstrated that there was a good approval between these *** results of this study depict that the profile temperature at the outlet of the container indicates an enhancement in the Richardson number and stratification number by 37.9%and 45.8%,respectively,when the charging process is ***,increasing the number of paraffin-filled containers from 5 to 9 results in a 29.9%improvement in charging efficiency,resulting in an improvement in storage ***,the results have proven that the 3D CFD approach is a highly beneficial tool to assess the effect of PCM mass on stratification performance in a hot-water container.

In this study,the primary objective was to enhance the hydrothermal performance of a dimpled tube by addressing areas with low heat transfer compared to other *** accomplish this,a comprehensive numerical investigation was conducted using ANSYS Fluent 2022 R1 software,focusing on different diameters of dimples along the pipe’s length and the distribution of dimples in both in-line and staggered *** simulations utilized the finite elementmethod to address turbulent flowwithin the tube by solving partial differential equations,encompassing Re numbers spanning from 3000 to *** study specifically examined single-phase flow conditions,with water utilized as the cooling *** results of the investigation indicated that increasing the Reynolds number resulted in higher average Nusselt numbers,pressure drops,the overall performance criterion,and a reduction in average thermal resistance across all models ***,both proposedmodels demonstrated improved heat transfer when compared to the conventional *** of all the models evaluated,the tube featuring staggered dimples(Model B)demonstrated the most notable improvement in the Nu *** exhibited an enhancement of approximately twice the value compared to the conventional *** mean thermal resistance for the tube with dimples in the staggered arrangement(Model B)is 0.0057 k/W,compared to 0.0118 k/W for the traditional *** maximum overall performance criterion for Model-A-and Model-Bis 1.22 and 1.33,respectively.

In the present work,a 5-kW hybrid PV solar system was installed on the roof of a house in Diyala,Iraq(33.77°N,45.14°E elevation 44 m).The system consists of two strings,where each string consists of nine polycrystalline PV modules with 355 Wp in series,and the two strings are in *** energy storage system(ESS)consists of two parallel strings,each with four 12 V and 150 Ah tubular deep cycle batteries in series.A hybrid inverter of 5 kW rated power was operated in different *** results showed that May’s monthly energy consumption was about 822.9 and 1085 kWh,*** percentage distribution of the DC energy produced was about 1%system energy losses,27.9%was used to charge the ESS,34.3%was used to feed the grid,and the remaining 37.64%was used to share the *** energy percentage sharing the load was 16.67%from ESS,33.33%from the PV system,and 50%*** average daily reference,array,and final yields were 6.07,4.327,and 3.991 h/day,*** average array and load efficiencies were 12.3%and 92.24%,with the performance ratio at 65.4%.

Using Magnetic Technique to Increase Efficiency of Organic Pollutants Biodegradation in Wastewater

The intensity of Magnetic field by 200, 300 and 400 gaos were selective to study their impacts on bacteria Bacillus, Pseudomonas and yeasts Candida dubliniensis, Candida glabrata, lssatchenkia orientalis and Rhodotorula mucilaginosa growth and to reduce organic pollutants in wastewater by COD, TOC, TN and TP in concentrations of 180, 75, 52 and 84 ppm in ph 7.6 and treatment periods of 2, 4, 6 and 18 h in batch system. Results showed that magnetic field 300 gaos had higher ability to increase bacterial and yeasts growth by 400-600% in 18 h and reduced COD, TOC, TN and TP by 88, 85, 90 and 98.5% in same period treatment. While, the intensity of magnetic field 200 and 400 gaos have no effect on microorganisms growth and reducing organic pollutants. This study is first record for showing and explaining the positive effective of magnetic field on microorganisms growth.
