Kalapi(Kalappia celebica)is an endemic legume of Sulawesi and has been included in the endangered category since the early *** of the species is possible through ex situ culture *** mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)can accelerate plant growth which in turn supports the conservation of endangered *** study aimed to assess the efficacy of local AMF to accelerate the growth of kalapi and increase nutrient uptake in kalapi grown in gold mine tailing *** were three AMF treatments,Glomus claroideum,Glomus coronatum,and a mixture of both,plus the *** treatment was replicated three times,each consisting of five *** results show that the highest AMF colony was obtained by kalapi seedlings inoculated with Glomus coronatum and the mixture of *** range of mycorrhizae inoculation effect values was 59.7–71.3%.AMF inoculation increased growth and dry weight of 4-month-old seedlings compared to *** and total weights of kalapi inoculated with *** were significantly different from those inoculated with the AMF ***,they are not significantly different from kalapi inoculated with *** results also show that AMF increased nitrogen and phosphorous uptake by the roots,as well as nitrogen,phosphorous,potassium,manganese and iron by the *** AMF treatments decreased potassium uptake in the roots,except in kalapi inoculated with *** AMF mixture decreased iron contents the roots by 15%.AMF can be developed into biofertilizer to support the conservation of kalapi in tropical Indonesia.

Scalability is one of the most important quality attribute of softwareintensive systems,because it maintains an effective performance parallel to the large fluctuating and sometimes unpredictable *** order to achieve scalability,thread pool system(TPS)(which is also known as executor service)has been used extensively as a middleware service in software-intensive *** optimization is a challenging problem that determines the optimal size of thread pool dynamically on *** case of distributed-TPS(DTPS),another issue is the load balancing b/w available set of TPSs running at backend *** DTPSs are overloaded either due to an inappropriate TPS optimization strategy at backend servers or improper load balancing scheme that cannot quickly recover an ***,the performance of software-intensive system is ***,in this paper,we propose a new DTPS that follows the collaborative round robin load balancing that has the effect of a double-edge *** the one hand,it effectively performs the load balancing(in case of overload situation)among available TPSs by a fast overload recovery procedure that decelerates the load on the overloaded TPSs up to their capacities and shifts the remaining load towards other gracefully running *** on the other hand,its robust load deceleration technique which is applied to an overloaded TPS sets an appropriate upper bound of thread pool size,because the pool size in each TPS is kept equal to the request rate on it,hence dynamically optimizes *** evaluated the results of the proposed system against state of the art DTPSs by a clientserver based simulator and found that our system outperformed by sustaining smaller response times.

Scalability is one of the utmost nonfunctional requirement of server applications,because it maintains an effective performance parallel to the large fluctuating and sometimes unpredictable *** order to achieve scalability,thread pool system(TPS)has been used extensively as a middleware service in server *** size of thread pool is the most significant factor,that affects the overall performance of *** the optimal size of thread pool dynamically on runtime is a challenging *** most widely used and simple method to tackle this problem is to keep the size of thread pool equal to the request rate,i.e.,the frequencyoriented thread pool(FOTP).The FOTPs are the most widely used TPSs in the industry,because of the implementation simplicity,the negligible overhead and the capability to use in any ***,the frequency-based schemes only focused on one aspect of changes in the load,and that is the fluctuations in request *** request rate alone is an imperfect knob to scale thread ***,this paper presents a workload profiling based FOTP,that focuses on request size(service time of request)besides the request rate as a knob to scale thread pool on runtime,because we argue that the combination of both truly represents the load fluctuation in server-side *** evaluated the results of the proposed system against state of the art TPS of Oracle Corporation(by a client-server-based simulator)and concluded that our system outperformed in terms of both;the response times and throughput.

Cloud computing is a demanding business platform for services related to the field of *** goal of cloud customers is to access resources at a sustainable price,while the goal of cloud suppliers is to maximize their services ***,the customers would bid for every single resource type,which was a limitation of cloud resources *** solve these issues,researchers have focused on a combinatorial auction in which the resources are offered by the providers in bundles so that the user bids for their required ***,in this allocation mechanism,some drawbacks need to be tackled,such as due to the lower average bid price the users are dropped from the auction *** solve this problem,we proposed a“Negotiation based Combinatorial Double Auction Mechanism for Resource Allocation(N-CDARA)in cloud computing”.The proposed method negotiates with dropped *** average bid price users are asked by our proposed mechanism to increase their bids,as by the quoted bids they will be dropped by the *** of the users that are close to winning accept the proposal and increase their bid *** proposed mechanism is implemented in a CloudSim simulation *** are compared with the latest model and performance study shows that in our proposed scheme more users win and get their requested services and the utilization of offered services is increased up to 18.4%than the existing schemes.

Software testing is an important and cost intensive activity in software *** major contribution in cost is due to test case ***-based testing is an approach in which test cases are derivative from requirements without considering the implementation’s internal ***-based testing includes functional and nonfunctional *** objective of this study is to explore the approaches that generate test cases from requirements.A systematic literature review based on two research questions and extensive quality assessment criteria includes *** study identies 30 primary studies from 410 studies spanned from 2000 to *** review’s nding shows that 53%of journal papers,42%of conference papers,and 5%of book chapters’address requirementsbased *** of the studies use UML,activity,and use case diagrams for test case generation from *** of the signicant lessons learned is that most software testing errors are traced back to errors in natural language requirements.A substantial amount of work focuses on UML diagrams for test case generations,which cannot capture all the system’s developed ***,there is a lack of UML-based models that can generate test cases from natural language requirements by rening them in *** criteria indicate how efciently the testing has been performed 12.37%of studies use requirements coverage,20%of studies cover path coverage,and 17%study basic coverage.

Many types of real-world information systems, including social media and e-commerce platforms, can be modelled by means of attribute-rich, connected networks. The goal of anomaly detection in artificial intelligence is to identify illustrations that deviate significantly from the main distribution of data or that differ from known cases. Anomalous nodes in node-attributed networks can be identified with greater precision if both graph and node attributes are taken into account. Almost all of the studies in this area focus on supervised techniques for spotting outliers. While supervised algorithms for anomaly detection work well in theory, they cannot be applied to real-world applications owing to a lack of labelled data. Considering the possible data distribution, our model employs a dual variational autoencoder (VAE), while a generative adversarial network (GAN) assures that the model is robust to adversarial training. The dual VAEs are used in another capacity: as a fake-node generator. Adversarial training is used to ensure that our latent codes have a Gaussian or uniform distribution. To provide a fair presentation of the graph, the discriminator instructs the generator to generate latent variables with distributions that are more consistent with the actual distribution of the data. Once the model has been learned, the discriminator is used for anomaly detection via reconstruction loss which has been trained to distinguish between the normal and artificial distributions of data. First, using a dual VAE, our model simultaneously captures cross-modality interactions between topological structure and node characteristics and overcomes the problem of unlabeled anomalies, allowing us to better understand the network sparsity and nonlinearity. Second, the proposed model considers the regularization of the latent codes while solving the issue of unregularized embedding techniques that can quickly lead to unsatisfactory representation. Even though various wireless Net- work Access Technologies （NATs） with dif- ferent specifications and applications have been developed in the recent years, no single wireless technology alone can satisfy the any- time, anywhere, and any service wire- less-access needs of mobile users. A real seamless wireless mobile environment is only realized by considering vertical and horizontal handoffs together. One of the major design issues in heterogeneous wireless networks is the support of Vertical Handoff （VHO）. VHO occurs when a multi-interface enabled mobile terminal changes its Point of Attachment （PoA） from one type of wireless access technology to another, while maintaining an active session. In this paper we present a novel multi-criteria VHO algorithm, which chooses the target NAT based on several factors such as user preferences, system parameters, and traf- tic-types with varying Quality of Service （QoS） requirements. Two modules i.e., VHO Neces- sity Estimation （VHONE） module and target NAT selection module, are designed. Both modules utilize several ＂weighted＂ users＇ and system＇s parameters. To improve the robust- ness of the proposed algorithm, the weighting system is designed based on the concept of fuzzy linguistic variables.

Design of Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System

This paper presents a grid connected photovoltaic system (PV) with a proposed high voltage conversion ratio DC-DC converter which steps up the variable low input voltages of photovoltaic module to the required DC link voltage. This voltage is applied to an H-bridge inverter which converts DC voltage into AC voltage and a low pass filter is used to filter the output. By adjusting the duty ratio of switches in DC-DC converter, the magnitude of inverter’s output voltage is controlled. The frequency and phase synchronization are ensured by a feedback signal taken from the grid. In this way, inverter is synchronized and connected with the grid to meet the energy demand. The PV system has been designed and simulated.
