The rapid expansion of Internet of Things(IoT)devices deploys various sensors in different applications like homes,cities and *** applications depend upon the accuracy of sensor ***,it is necessary to predict faults in the sensor and isolate their cause.A novel primitive technique named fall curve is presented in this paper which characterizes sensor *** technique identifies the faulty sensor and determines the correct working of the *** sources of sensor faults are explained in detail whereas various faults that occurred in sensor nodes available in IoT devices are also presented in tabular *** prediction in digital and analog sensors along with methods of sensor fault prediction are *** are several advantages and disadvantages of sensor fault prediction methods and the fall curve ***,some solutions are provided to overcome the limitations of the fall curve *** this paper,a bibliometric analysis is carried out to visually analyze 63 papers fetched from the Scopus database for the past five *** novelty is to predict a fault before its occurrence by looking at the fall *** sensing of current flow in devices is important to prevent a major ***,the fall curves of ACS712 current sensors configured on different devices are drawn for predicting faulty or non-faulty *** analysis result proved that if any of the current sensors gets faulty,then the fall curve will differ and the value will immediately drop to *** evaluation metrics for fault prediction are also described in this *** last,this paper also addresses some possible open research issues which are important to deal with false IoT sensor data.

Novel Nondestructive Measurement of Dye Adsorption on Solid Titania Films for Its Sensitized Solar Cells

A new nondestructive quantitative method is developed to measure the adsorption of dyes in solid titania films for dye-sensitized solar cells. UV-vis spectroscopy study showed that the absorbance of dye in the solid film can be directly related to the absorbance measured by the typical destructive method used to quantify concentration. Concentrations of N-719 and N-749 dyes on solid titania films were successfully extracted using molar extinction coefficients of dye on solid titania films with value of 6916 and 6454 L·cmˉ1·molˉ1 respectively determined using the spectral peaks at 512 and 586 nm.

In recent times,Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)experiences a high risk of cyber attacks which needs to be *** technology can be incorporated into IIoT system to help the entrepreneurs realize Industry 4.0 by overcoming such cyber *** blockchain-based IIoT network renders a significant support and meet the service requirements of next generation network,the performance arrived at,in existing studies still needs *** this scenario,the current research paper develops a new Privacy-Preserving Blockchain with Deep Learning model for Industrial IoT(PPBDL-IIoT)on 6G *** proposed PPBDLIIoT technique aims at identifying the existence of intrusions in ***,PPBDL-IIoT technique also involves the design of Chaos Game Optimization(CGO)with Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Neural Network(BiGRNN)technique for both detection and classification of intrusions in the ***,CGO technique is applied to fine tune the hyperparameters in BiGRNN *** algorithm is applied to optimally adjust the learning rate,epoch count,and weight decay so as to considerably improve the intrusion detection performance of BiGRNN ***,Blockchain enabled Integrity Check(BEIC)scheme is also introduced to avoid the misrouting attacks that tamper the OpenFlow rules of SDN-based IIoT *** performance of the proposed PPBDL-IIoT methodology was validated using Industrial Control System Cyber-attack(ICSCA)dataset and the outcomes were analysed under various *** experimental results highlight the supremacy of the presented PPBDL-IIoT technique than the recent state-of-the-art techniques with the higher accuracy of 91.50%.

Techno-Economic Evaluation and Optimization of Grid Connected PV and Wind Generating System for Riyadh City

The risks and challenges faced by human society at the moment are global warming, climate change and pollution. In addition to their effect on the atmosphere, the quantity of fossil fuels is beginning to decrease, and countries have taken steps to encourage greater use of renewable energy resources. This article explores the feasibility of supplying electricity from a hybrid power system (HPS) comprising wind/photovoltaic (PV) and batteries. Taking into account residential buildings that consume the largest portion of energy in Saudi grid, Saudi Arabia, Riyadh is the preferred city with distinctive geographical and climatic conditions. The hourly electricity demand data must be over 8760 hours during a 1-year analysis in order to assess the optimum design and operational planning of the HPS. The economic analysis is carried out by applying HOMER software on the basis of net present cost (NPC), energy cost (COE) and the renewable fraction for all situations. In addition, to specify the effect of fuel costs on the scheme, sensitivity tests are carried out by considering two separate tariff rates for residential consumers. The results of the economic analysis show that current tariff is not economic to use HSP under warm and temperate climate conditions compare to using electricity from grid and the expected forecasted tariff shows it’s economic to use HSP compare to grid electricity.

The task of automatically analyzing sentiments from a tweet has more use now than ever due to the spectrum of emotions expressed from national leaders to the average *** this data can be critical for any *** are often expressed with different intensity and topics which can provide great insight into how something affects *** analysis in Twittermitigates the various issues of analyzing the tweets in terms of views expressed and several approaches have already been proposed for sentiment analysis in *** used for analyzing tweet emotions are also briefly presented in literature survey *** this paper,hybrid combination of different model’s LSTM-CNN have been proposed where LSTMis Long Short TermMemory andCNNrepresents ConvolutionalNeural ***,the main contribution of our work is to compare various deep learning and machine learning models and categorization based on the techniques *** main drawback of LSTM is that it’s a timeconsuming process whereas CNN do not express content information in an accurate way,thus our proposed hybrid technique improves the precision rate and helps in achieving better *** step of our mentioned technique is to preprocess the data in order to remove stop words and unnecessary data to improve the efficiency in terms of time and accuracy also it shows optimal results when it is compared with predefined approaches.

Low soil temperature and drought stress conditions at flowering stage affect physiology and pollen traits of rice

Low temperature and drought stress are the major constraints in rice productivity worldwide. This study investigated the influence of low soil temperature and/or drought stress on physiology and pollen traits of two rice genotypes viz., Guinongzhan and Yueza 763 at flowering stage. The experiment included four treatments, i.e., under the greenhouse natural growth conditions (UC) taken as control, drought stress (DS), the soil water potential was kept at ?0.035 to ?0.045 MPa (DS), low soil temperature (LT) maintained at 19 to 21℃, combined LT and DS (LT+DS, LD). Results showed that LT, DS, and LD substantially reduced net photosynthetic rate (Pn) and the maximal photochemical efficiency of PSII (Fv/Fm), whilst transpiration rate (Tr) was markedly enhanced by under LT in both rice genotypes. The malondialdehyde (MDA) contents were enhanced under LT, DS, and LD in Guinongzhan, whilst the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), and catalase (CAT) were regulated by LT, DS, and LD in both rice genotypes. Furthermore, anther dehiscence rate, pollen numbers on stigma, pollen viability and pollen germination rate, and anther starch contents were obviously reduced under LT and DS of both rice genotypes. Stress conditions substantially reduced the yield and yield components, i.e., effective panicles, seed set percentage, grain/panicles, 1000-grain weight, and grain yield of both genotypes and the effects were more apparent in Guinongzhan than those in Yueza 763 whilst combined LT and DS proved more damaging than individual stress.

Spatial and Temporal Variations of the Particulate Matter in Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia

Mass concentrations of PM10 and PM2.5 for January 2012 up to October 2013 were measured at two sites;a suburban area, Riyadh airport (AP) and an urban area, King fahd road district (KF) (densely trafficked site). Daily concentrations of both PM10 and PM2.5 measured at these two sites were highly variable. The temporal variation observed either for PM10 or PM2.5 was associated mainly with the dust events. The annual pattern of PM10 and PM2.5 at the AP station shows a significant increase in spring and summer (dusty seasons) where monthly mean concentrations of up to 696 μg·m-3 PM10 were recorded in March. PM10 concentrations during winter months are significantly lower, with 65 μg·m-3 measured in November and 78 μg·m-3 measured in December. January exhibits PM10 concentrations little above 100 μg·m-3. Both PM10 and PM2.5 showed substantial variations at these two monitoring stations during the study period. In the ur-ban station (King fahd), average annual PM10 varied by up to roughly a factor of two. This variation implies that local emission sources in this site often contribute much (i.e. greater than half) of the PM10 mass on annual average. The variation of monthly (temporal) mean PM10 at KF station showed more or less similar results to the AP station. Higher concentrations were observed during spring and summer (12%, 17% and 13% in Feb., March and April respectively and 17, 15% during June and July). Starting from September and October, PM10 concentrations started to drop to 7% and 8% respectively. The relationships between the mean values of suspended particle concentrations and meteorological variables (relative humidity ambient temperature and wind speed) were analyzed. The results demonstrate that the influence of weather factors upon dust particulates is largely inconclusive. However, At KF station a moderate positive correlation was observed between wind speed and PM.

THIRD ORDER SHEAR DEFORMATION MODEL FOR LAMINATED SHELLS WITH FINITE ROTATIONS:FORMULATION AND CONSISTENT LINEARIZATION

The paper presents an approach for the formulation of general laminated shells based on a third order shear deformation theory. These shells undergo finite (unlimited in size) rotations and large overall motions but with small strains. A singularity-free parametrization of the rotation field is adopted. The constitutive equations, derived with respect to laminate curvilinear coordinates, are applicable to shell elements with an arbitrary number of orthotropic layers and where the material principal axes can vary from layer to layer. A careful consideration of the consistent linearization procedure pertinent to the proposed parametrization of finite rotations leads to symmetric tangent stiffness matrices. The matrix formulation adopted here makes it possible to implement the present formulation within the framework of the finite element method as a straightforward task.
