Predictors of antenatal health service utilization among left-behind wives of male outmigrants:Evidence from Patna district,India

Objective:To analyze the sociological support system available for left-behind wives of male outmigrants and develop a model that predicts the antenatal care(ANC)services ***:A cross-sectional survey was conducted in rural regions of the Patna district,*** sample size(n=328)was estimated using Cochran’s *** parameters of the social support system were identified(autonomy,spousal support,family support,social circle support,and government support).The score for each was calculated as a composite score using multiple variables;these served as independent *** respondents were categorized as efficient and non-efficient users of ANC service based on established ***:The regression results showed that four out of five social parameters had a significant effect on ANC *** support was the strongest predictor(standardized regression coefficient β=0.57,OR 1.16,95%CI 1.08-1.79,P=0.007).Government support was found to be the second strongest predictor(β=0.40,OR 1.49,95%CI 1.04-2.14,P=0.027),followed by family support(β=0.31,OR 1.36,95%CI 1.23-2.57,P=0.034)and autonomy(β=0.11,OR 1.32,95%CI 1.11-2.26,P=0.030).The social circle support was found to be non-significant in predicting ANC behavior(P>0.05).Conclusions:The policymakers could focus on the identified predictors to strengthen and modify the existing policies for leftbehind wives of male *** need of the hour is a strategic intervention for behavioral modification of not only the left-behind wives but also their family members along with reinforcement of the existing social-security *** strategy we suggest is to launch an awareness campaign focusing on husbands(male outmigrants)and family members.

Multifunctional characteristics of 3d printed polymer nanocomposites under monotonic and cyclic compression

This study presents the multifunctional characteristics of multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNT)/polypropylene random copolymer(PPR) composites enabled via fused filament fabrication(FFF) under monotonic and quasi-static cyclic compression. Utilizing in-house MWCNT-engineered PPR filament feedstocks, both bulk and cellular composites were realized. The morphological features of nanocomposites were examined via scanning electron microscopy, which reveals that MWCNTs are uniformly dispersed. The uniformly dispersed MWCNTs forms an electrically conductive network within the PPR matrix, and the resulting nanocomposite shows good electrical conductivity(~10^(-1)S/cm), improved mechanical performance(modulus increases by 125% and compressive strength increases by 25% for 8 wt% MWCNT loading) and pronounced piezoresistive response(gauge factor of 27.9-8.5 for bulk samples)under compression. The influence of strain rate on the piezoresistive response of bulk samples(4 wt% of MWCNT) under compression was also measured. Under repeated cyclic compression(2% constant strain amplitude), the nanocomposite exhibited stable piezoresistive performance up to 100 cycles. The piezoresistive response under repeated cyclic loading with increasing strain amplitude of was also *** gauge factor of BCC and FCC cellular composites(4 wt% of MWCNT) with a relative density of 30%was observed to be 46.4 and 30.2 respectively, under compression. The higher sensitivity of the BCC plate-lattice could be attributed to its higher degree of stretching-dominated deformation behavior than the FCC plate-lattice, which exhibits bending-dominated behavior. The 3d printed cellular PPR/MWCNT composites structures were found to show excellent piezoresistive self-sensing characteristics and open new avenues for in situ structural health monitoring in various applications.

The Lower to Middle Jurassic sedimentary succession is dominated by siliciclastics with a significant amount of black shales in the Indus Basin,*** outcrop samples have been studied using an integrated approach to interpret the conceptual depositional setting from carbon and oxygen isotopes(δ^(13)C&δ18O),organic geochemistry,and palynofacies with major and trace element *** interpretation of trace element data,various single and elemental ratios have been used in this research to unlock the geological history of the studied ***/Al is 1.96 for high-potential source rock and 7.82 for non-potential source rock,and Cr(less than 1)indicates low clastic input with low oxygen for stratified and stagnant *** ratios of V/(V+Cr),V/(V+Ni),V/Mo,V/Ni,(Cu+Mo)/Zn,Mo/Al,isotopic values ofδ^(13)C andδ18O and besides the V/Cr elemental ratio,all proxies indicate that there are oxygen-depleted anoxic conditions at high potentials,while in non-potential source rock,these ratios show oxic to sub-oxic *** addition to the trace element correlation with total organic carbon,the influx of organic matter is determined by the palynoafacies analysis,which indicates mixed terrestrial and marine organic influx in high-potential source rock and vice ***,the studies of palynofaceis dFPF A-d and SFPF A-B suggest that the depositional setting of black shale occurred in the anoxic proximal to distal *** results suggest that the regional and local occurrence of black shale during the Lower to Middle Jurassic and its geological condition were addressed,and these play an important role in its depositional and paleooceanographic setting in the Eastern Tethys.

Microstructure and thermoelectric properties of nanoparticled copper selenide alloys synthesized using a microwave-assisted hydrothermal method

With the fabrication of high-performance thermoelectric(TE)materials,developments are being made in enhanc-ing the figure of merit,zT,of TE ***-like binary copper selenide(Cu_(2) Se)chalcogenides recently gained significant recognition because of their anomalous but fascinating electrical and thermal transport *** this study,a facile synthesis technique was adopted in fabricating Cu_(2) Se nanoparticles using a rapid microwave-assisted hydrothermal route at different reaction *** results were compared with those of the Cu_(2) Se solid-state(SS)sample synthesized using the traditional melting and annealing technique.X-ray diffrac-tion patterns revealed successful synthesis of nanoparticles and a phase transition from orthorhombic𝛼-phase and cubic𝛽-phase to a single orthorhombic structure after *** electron microscopic images revealed that although the grain sizes of the nanoparticle(NP)bulk samples increased with the reaction time of the microwave hydrothermal process,the grain sizes were significantly smaller than that of the SS ***,NP bulk samples exhibited plenty of nano-grains and pores that are absent in the SS *** size and distribution of the grains and pores were measured to study their effects on the transport of carriers and *** NP30 sample exhibited the highest power factor of 983.3μW K−2 m at 673 K among the NP samples,exhibiting intermediate values of resistivity and Seebeck coefficient that are close to those of the SS ***,the NP samples exhibited appreciably lower thermal conductivity than the SS sample that is attributed to strengthened phonon *** minimum thermal conductivity of the NP05 sample,0.78 WK−1 m−1 at 348 K,is 1.7 times lower than that of the SS ***,a maximum zT of 0.56 at 673 K,being approximately 1.3 times higher than that of the SS sample owing to the optimized thermal conductivity,was achieved for the NP30 *** value

Several autoimmune ailments and inflammation-related diseases emphasize the need for peptide-based therapeutics for their treatment and established substantial ***,the wet-lab experiments for the investigation of anti-inflammatory proteins/peptides(“AIP”)are usually very costly and remain ***,before wet-lab investigations,it is essential to develop in-silico identification models to classify prospective anti-inflammatory candidates for the facilitation of the drug development *** anti-inflammatory prediction tools have been proposed in the recent past,yet,there is a space to induce enhancement in prediction performance in terms of precision and *** exceedingly accurate antiinflammatory prediction model is proposed,named AntiFlamPred(“Antiinflammatory Peptide Predictor”),by incorporation of encoded features and probing machine learning algorithms including deep *** proposed model performs best in conjunction with deep *** testing and validation were applied including cross-validation,self-consistency,jackknife,and independent set *** proposed model yielded 0.919 value for area under the curve(AUC)and revealed Mathew’s correlation coefficient(MCC)equivalent to 0.735 demonstrating its effectiveness and ***,the proposed model was also extensively probed in comparison with other existing *** performance of the proposed model also out-performs other existing *** outcomes establish that the proposed model is a robust predictor for identifying AIPs and may subsidize well in the extensive lab-based ***,it has the potential to assiduously support medical and bioinformatics research.

Peristaltic flow in an asymmetric channel with convective boundary conditions and Joule heating

The peristaltic transport of viscous fluid in an asymmetric channel is concentrated. The channel walls exhibit convective boundary conditions. Both cases of hydrodynamic and magnetohydrodynamic(MHd) fluids are considered. Mathematical analysis has been presented in a wave frame of reference. The resulting problems are non-dimensionalized. Long wavelength and low Reynolds number approximations are employed. Joule heating effect on the thermal equation is retained. Analytic solutions for stream function and temperature are constructed. Numerical integration is carried out for pressure rise per wavelength. Effects of influential flow parameters have been pointed out through graphs.
