Lemierre’s syndrome(LS)is an uncommon condition with oropharyngeal infections,internal jugular vein thrombosis,and systemic metastatic septic embolization as the main *** species,a group of strictly anaerobic Gram negative rod shaped bacteria,are advocated to be the main pathogen *** report a case of LS complicated by pulmonary embolism and pulmonary septic emboli that mimicked a neoplastic lung condition.A Medline search revealed 173 case reports of LS associated with internal jugular vein thrombosis that documented the type of *** confirmed high prevalence in young males with Gram negative infections(83.2%).Pulmonary embolism was reported in 8.7% of cases mainly described in subjects with Gram positive infections(OR=9.786;95%CI:2.577-37.168,P=0.001),independently of age and *** four fatal cases were *** is an uncommon condition that could be complicated by pulmonary embolism,especially in subjects with Gram positive infections.

＜正＞Multi-decadal high resolution climate change simulations over East Asia are performed using the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics（ICTP）Regional Climate Model, RegCM3,nested within the NASA/NCAR global model *** sets of simulations are conducted at 20-km grid spacing for present day and future climate（IPCC A2 scenario）.The mean precipitation charge during the monsoon season（May to September）over China is analyzed and intercompared between the RegCM and *** of the present day precipitation by the RegCM shows a better performance than that of the driving FvGCM in terms of both spatial pattern and *** main improvement of the RegCM is the removal of an artificial precipitation center over the eastern edge of the Tibetan Plateau simulated by the *** FvGCM simulates a predominant increase of precipitation over the region,whereas the RegCM3 shows extended areas of *** causes of these differences are investigated and explained in terms of the different topographical forcing on circulation and moisture flux in the two models. We also find that the RegCM-simulated changes are in better agreement with observed precipitation trends over East *** is suggested that high resolution models are needed to better nvestigate future climate projections over China and East Asia.

Human bocavirus(HBoV) is a parvovirus isolated about a decade ago and found worldwide in both respiratory samples, mainly from early life and children of 6-24 mo of age with acute respiratory infection, and in stool samples, from patients with gastroenteritis. Since then, other viruses related to the first HBoV isolate(HBoV 1), namely HBoV 2, HBoV 3 and HBoV 4, have been detected principally in human faeces. HBo Vs are small nonenveloped single-stranded DNA viruses of about 5300 nucleotides, consisting of three open reading frames encoding the first two the non-structural protein 1(NS1) and nuclear phosphoprotein(NP1) and the third the viral capsid proteins 1 and 2(VP1 and VP2). HBoV pathogenicity remains to be fully clarified mainly due to the lack of animal models for the difficulties in replicating the virus in in vitro cell cultures, and the fact that HBo V infection is frequently accompanied by at least another viral and/or bacterial respiratory and/or gastroenteric pathogen infection. Current diagnostic methods to support HBoV detection include polymerase chain reaction, real-time PCR, enzymelinked immunosorbent assay and enzyme immunoassay using recombinant VP2 or virus-like particle capsid proteins, although sequence-independent amplification techniques combined with next-generation sequencing platforms promise rapid and simultaneous detection of the pathogens in the future. This review presents the current knowledge on HBoV genotypes with emphasis on taxonomy, phylogenetic relationship and genomic analysis, biology, epidemiology, pathogenesis and diagnostic methods. The emerging discussion on HBoV s as true pathogen or innocent bystander is also emphasized.

The below stated work scrutinizes ecological risks that are related to mining and metallurgical industries. It analyzes problems caused by pollution of air, soil and water and suggests new possible ways of resolving those problems. Namely, such innovative and energy-efficient technologies are argued as phytoremediation and exothermic self-propagating high-temperature synthesis of solid-phase recovery of metals (SHS). Visual arguments in support of the efficiency of the selected methods are provided.

BACKGROUND Masked diastolic hypotension is a new blood pressure(BP)pattern detected by ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM)in elderly *** aim of this study was to relate ABPM and comorbidity in a cohort of fit elderly subjects attending an outpatient hypertension *** Comorbidity was assessed by Charlson comorbidity index(CCI)and CHA_(2)DS_(2)VASc *** subjects evaluated with ABPM were aged≥65 *** and CHA_(2)DS_(2)VASc score were *** hypotension was defined as mean am-bulatory diastolic BP<65 mmHg and logistic regression analysis was carried out in order to detect and independent relationship between comorbidity burden and night-time diastolic BP<65 *** We studied 174 hypertensive elderly patients aged 72.1±5.2 years,men were 93(53.4%).Mean CCI was 0.91±1.14 and mean CHA_(2)DS_(2)VASc score of 2.68±*** with night-time mean diastolic values<65 mmHg were higher in females[54.7%vs.45.3%,P=0.048;odds ratio(OR)=1.914,95%CI:1.047−3.500].Logistic regression analysis showed that only CHA_(2)DS_(2)-VASc score was independently associated with night-time mean diastolic values<65 mmHg(OR=1.518,95%CI:1.161−1.985;P=0.002),but CCI was *** ABPM and comorbidity evaluation appear associated in elderly fit subjects with masked ***-orbid women appear to have higher risk for low ambulatory BP.

使用RegCM3区域气候模式,单向嵌套NCAR/NASA全球环流模式FvGCM/CCM3的输出结果,对中国及东亚地区进行了当代1961～1990年和在IPCCA2温室气体排放情景下21世纪末期2071～2100年各30年时间长度,水平分辨率为20km的气候变化模拟试验.首先分析了全球和区域模式对中国及东亚地区当代气候的模拟情况,结果表明,两模式对中国及东亚地区500hPa高度场、地面气温和降水模拟均较好.相对于全球模式,区域模式提供了气温和降水更详细的空间分布信息,对夏季的季风降水型模拟也有了很大改进.对未来气候的模拟表明,冬、夏季和年平均气温都将明显升高,但全球模式模拟出冬季北方更大的增温,而区域模式模拟的夏季增温相对在华北、内蒙古至西北及青藏高原地区更大.两个模式对冬季降水变化的模拟相对比较一致,但在夏季表现出很多差异,全球模式的模拟以总体增加为主,区域模式则除东北、黄淮和西北地区外,以普遍减少为主.对上述差别的形成原因进行了简要分析,此外还给出了区域模式所模拟的气温和降水年际变率的变化.

Land use effects on climate in China as simulated by a regional climate model

A regional climate model (RegCM3) nested within ERA40 re-analyzed data is used to investigate the climate effects of land use change over China. Two 15-year simulations (1987―2001), one with current land use and the other with potential vegetation cover without human intervention, are conducted for a domain encompassing China. The climate impacts of land use change are assessed from the difference between the two simulations. Results show that the current land use (modified by anthropogenic ac- tivities) influences local climate as simulated by the model through the reinforcement of the monsoon circulation in both the winter and summer seasons and through changes of the surface energy budget. In winter, land use change leads to reduced precipitation and decreased surface air temperature south of the Yangtze River, and increased precipitation north of the Yangtze River. Land use change signifi- cantly affects summer climate in southern China, yielding increased precipitation over the region, de- creased temperature along the Yangtze River and increased temperature in the South China area (south-end of China). In summer, a reduction of precipitation over northern China and a temperature rise over Northwest China are also simulated. Both daily maximum and minimum temperatures are affected in the simulations. In general, the current land use in China leads to enhanced mean annual precipitation and decreased annual temperature over south China along with decreased precipitation over North China.

近几十年来,中国区域气候经历了以变暖和东部降水呈现＂南涝北旱＂分布特征为主的变化.这里基于一个区域气候模式（Reg CM4.0）历史模拟和归因试验的对比,探讨了温室气体排放和自然变率分别对上述特征形成及各大水文流域气候变化成因的可能贡献.试验中Reg CM4.0的分辨率取为50 km,积分时间为1961~2005年,两个试验的驱动场分别来自于BCC_CSM1.1全球气候模式的历史试验和归因试验结果.分析结果表明,1961~2005年观测中出现的气候变暖现象,在所有流域均主要是由于人为温室气体排放引起的,在大部分流域自然变率亦有所贡献,中国区域平均的变暖中,人为温室气体排放所产生的作用达到80%.中国东部降水的＂南涝北旱＂分布变化,则可能主要是自然变率起了主导作用,人为温室气体排放在一定程度上减弱了这种变化的强度;中国西北地区的降水增加,可能主要源于人为温室气体排放的贡献,自然变率的作用与其相反,是导致降水减少的.同时指出,分析结果中关于气温的结论相对可靠性较高,降水的结论尚存在较大不确定性,未来需开展进一步的深入研究.

在感染人免疫缺陷病毒１型的人Ｔ细胞ＣＤ４的ＣＥＭｓ细胞中，应用核酸杂交法检测病毒ＲＮＡ水平，观察前列腺素Ａ１对人免疫缺陷病毒１型复制作用的影响。结果表明，在低感染多重性下，用前列腺素Ａ１处理组，病毒ＲＮＡ水平在病毒感染７２～９６小时明显低于对照组，感染２４小时后给予前列腺素Ａ１，仍可抑制病毒ＲＮＡ。连续用前列腺素处理，其抑制作用达９天。
