BACKGROUND Pulmonary fibrosis(PF)is a chronic interstitial lung disease characterized by fibroblast proliferation and extracellular matrix formation,causing structural damage and lung *** cell therapy and mesenchymal stem cells-extracellular vesicles(MSC-EVs)offer new hope for PF *** To investigate the therapeutic potential of MSC-EVs in alleviating fibrosis,oxidative stress,and immune inflammation in A549 cells and bleomycin(BLM)-induced mouse *** The effect of MSC-EVs on A549 cells was assessed by fibrosis markers[collagen I andα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),oxidative stress regulators[nuclear factor E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)and heme oxygenase-1(HO-1),and inflammatory regu-lators[nuclear factor-kappaB(NF-κB)p65,interleukin(IL)-1β,and IL-2].Similarly,they were assessed in the lungs of mice where PF was induced by BLM after MSC-EV ***-EVs ion PF mice were detected by pathological staining and western ***-cell RNA sequencing was performed to investigate the effects of the MSC-EVs on gene expression profiles of macrophages after modeling in *** Transforming growth factor(TGF)-β1 enhanced fibrosis in A549 cells,significantly increasing collagen I andα-SMA ***,treatment with MSC-EVs demonstrated a remarkable alleviation of these ***,the expression of oxidative stress regulators,such as Nrf2 and HO-1,along with inflammatory regulators,including NF-κB p65 and IL-1β,were mitigated by MSC-EV ***,in a parallel manner,MSC-EVs exhibited a downregulatory impact on collagen deposition,oxidative stress injuries,and inflammatory-related cytokines in the lungs of mice with ***,the mRNA sequencing results suggested that BLM may induce PF in mice by upregulating pulmonary collagen fiber deposition and triggering an immune inflammatory *** findings collectively highlight the potential therapeutic efficacy of MSC-EVs in ameliorating fibrotic processes,oxidative stres

Although pseudocapacitive manganese dioxide(MnO_(2))integrates the high-power merit of carbonaceous materials with the high-energy merit of battery-type materials,it still has a long way to go in achieving a more satisfactory balance of higher energy and power density,and in decoupling the relationship of structural characteristics with energy storage *** realize such goals,a bottom-up[WO_(6)]-perturbed[MnO_(6)]assembly strategy has been developed here due to their similar structure,yet mismatched lattice *** facile protocol is capable of finely controlling the morphology and crystal structure of MnO_(2)by adjusting its internal[WO_(6)]***,the as-prepared W_xMnO_(2)is treated as an ideal platform to scrutinize the correlations of the structure with the energy storage *** operando Raman spectra and finite element analysis have fully demonstrated the superiority of the locally ordered defects-enriched structure of W_(0.02)-MnO_(2),which could reach a favorable balance between the ion diffusion equilibrium time and the number of active *** a result,the W_(0.02)-MnO_(2)is able to deliver a high capacitance of 292 F·g^(-1)at a current density of 1 A·g^(-1)and a remarkable rate performance with a 60%capacity retention at a current density of 50 A·g^(-1).The further unveiled structure-performance relationship provides a guideline for the design of better pseudocapacitive energy storage devices.

The corrosion mechanism of 510L low alloy steel treated by acid-cleaned surface(ACS)and eco-pickled surface(EPS)techniques in three simulated solutions(S0:atmospheric environment;S1:soil environment;S2:industrial environment)and the influence of interaction between different corrosive anions on corrosion were *** results show that the total corrosion rates of samples in three simulated solutions were in order of S2>S0>S1,which is simultaneously correlated with initial corrosion dissolution processes as well as after the formation of corrosion ***3−will inhibit the initial corrosion owing to the formation of films,whereas HSO3−will accelerate the dissolutions of the matrix based on the synergistic action of HSO3−and Cl−.On the other hand,there is no significant difference in corrosion rates between the samples treated by ACS and EPS *** EPS technique that is safe,reusable and environmentally friendly can be further widely used in future work.

BACKGROUND Cell division cyclin 25C(CDC25C)is a protein that plays a critical role in the cell cycle,specifically in the transition from the G2 phase to the M *** research has shown that CDC25C could be a potential therapeutic target for cancers,particularly for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,the specific regulatory mechanisms underlying the role of CDC25C in HCC tumorigenesis and development remain incompletely *** To explore the impact of CDC25C on cell proliferation and apoptosis,as well as its regulatory mechanisms in HCC *** Hepa1-6 and B16 cells were transduced with a lentiviral vector containing shRNA interference sequences(LV-CDC25C shRNA)to knock down ***,a xenograft mouse model was established by subcutaneously injecting transduced Hepa1-6 cells into C57BL/6 mice to assess the effects of CDC25C knockdown on HCC development in *** proliferation and migration were evaluated using a Cell Counting Kit-8 cell proliferation assays and wound healing assays,*** expression of endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress-related molecules(glucose-regulated protein 78,X-box binding protein-1,and C/EBP homologous protein)was measured in both cells and subcutaneous xenografts using quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)and western ***,apoptosis was investigated using flow cytometry,qRT-PCR,and western *** CDC25C was stably suppressed in Hepa1-6 and B16 cells through LV-CDC25C shRNA transduction.A xenograft model with CDC25C knockdown was successfully established and that downregulation of CDC25C expression significantly inhibited HCC growth in ***25C knockdown not only inhibited cell proliferation and migration but also significantly increased the ER stress response,ultimately promoting ER stress-induced apoptosis in HCC *** The regulatory mechanism of CDC25C in HCC development may involve the activation of ER stress and the ER stress-induced apoptosis signali

Evaluation of microRNA expression profiles in human sperm frozen using permeable cryoprotectant-free droplet vitrification and conventional methods

For sperm cryopreservation,the conventional method,which requires glycerol,has been used for a long *** addition,the permeable cryoprotectant-free vitrification method has been continuously *** the differences of cryopreservation effects between the two methods have being studied,differences in microRNA(miRNA)profiles between them remain *** this study,we investigated the differences in miRNA expression profiles among conventional freezing sperm,droplet vitrification freezing sperm and fresh human *** also analyzed the differences between these methods in terms of differentially expressed miRNAs(DEmiRs)related to early embryonic development and paternal *** results showed no significant differences between the cryopreservation methods in terms of sperm motility ratio,plasma membrane integrity,DNA integrity,mitochondrial membrane potential,acrosome integrity,and ultrastructural ***,sperm miRNA-sequencing showed differences between the two methods in terms of the numbers of DEmiRs(28 and 19 with vitrification using a nonpermeable cryoprotectant and the conventional method,respectively)in postthaw and fresh sperm *** related to early embryonic development and paternal epigenetics mainly included common DEmiRs between the *** results showed that the differences between conventional freezing and droplet vitrification were minimal in terms of miRNA expression related to embryonic development and *** in sperm miRNA expression due to freezing are not always detrimental to embryonic *** study compared differences in miRNA expression profiles before and after cryopreservation between cryopreservation by conventional and vitrification *** offers a new perspective to evaluate various methods of sperm cryopreservation.

Gravity assistance is a critical factor influencing CO_(2)-Oil mixing and miscible flow during EOR and CO_(2)geological *** on the Navier-Stokes equation,component mass conservation equation,and fluid property-composition relationship,a mathematical model for pore-scale CO_(2) injection in oilsaturated porous media was developed in this *** model can reflect the effects of gravity assistance,component diffusion,fluid density variation,and velocity change on EOR and CO_(2) *** nonhomogeneous porous media,the gravity influence and large density difference help to minimize the velocity difference between the main flow path and the surrounding area,thus improving the oil recovery and CO_(2) *** CO_(2) injection angles and oil-CO_(2) density differences can increase the oil recovery by 22.6% and 4.2%,respectively,and increase CO_(2) storage by 37.9% and 4.7%,*** diffusion facilitates the transportation of the oil components from the low-velocity region to the main flow path,thereby reducing the oil/CO_(2) concentration difference within the porous *** diffusion can increase oil recovery and CO_(2) storage by 5.7% and 6.9%,*** addition,combined with the component diffusion,a low CO_(2) injection rate creates a more uniform spatial distribution of the oil/CO_(2) component,resulting in increases of 9.5% oil recovery and 15.7% CO_(2) storage,*** study provides theoretical support for improving the geological CO_(2) storage and EOR processes.

中国现代文论经历了民国时期的文学概论、中华人民共和国早期的文艺学、改革开放后的文学理论三个总名的演进。民国时期的文学概论,主要来自英语世界的文学批评,但在现实中又有三种模式:英语文论模式、中国古代模式、苏俄文论模式。1949年前的文艺学,虽然其名来自汉语文化圈对德国文学科学的汉译,但中华人民共和国早期主要来自苏联的文学科学。中华人民共和国成立以来的文艺学有三个阶段的演进:20世纪50年代以苏联模式为主,60年代开始加上中国内容的转型,改革开放后有与时俱进的思想革新。但改革开放后主要与英语文论互动,产生了文学理论这一新词新义,与同时存在的文艺学和文学概论进行总名的竞争,各显风采。以2010年为标志,文学理论作为文论的总名基本获得共识,其意义不但要从中国文论自身的演进,更要从中国文论与世界文论的互动中去理解。

电影处于后艺术时代的三大体系之中:一是与原有的建筑、雕塑、绘画、音乐、舞蹈、文学、戏剧构成艺术体系;但又因其营利特性而与此前艺术的非功利性区别开来,引致对艺术的重新定义。二是与摄影、广播、电脑、手机构成电型艺术体系,这一体系又包括很多非艺术方面,如电影中的纪录片,广播、电视中的非艺术栏目,互联网和手机中的非艺术内容,从而引出了对艺术与非艺术之间关系的新思考。三是从技术上与新兴设计艺术以及各种关涉电子屏幕的文化相关联,引出了艺术与文化的新思考。电影以电子技术为基础,与电子的虚实结构在科学升级后的相对论和量子论同构。电影从制作到放映皆与新的宇宙原则相连,在从文本到作品的放映中,电影通过在想象界、象征界和实在界横组合、纵聚合的运行,将自身的艺术特质呈现了出来。以电影为中心形成了多种多样的关联,这也使得电影处于理解后艺术时代的艺术体系以及相应理论的中心位置。
