A new rotor broken bar fault diagnosis method for induction motors based on the double PQ transformation is pre-sented. By distinguishing the different patterns of the PQ components in the PQ plane,the rotor broken bar fault can be detected. The magnitude of power component directly resulted from rotor fault is used as the fault indicator and the distance between the point of no-load condition and the center of the ellipse as its normalization value. Based on these,the fault severity factor which is completely independent of the inertia and load level is defined. Moreover,a method to reliably discriminate between rotor faults and periodic load fluctuation is presented. Experimental results from a 4 kW induction motor demonstrated the validity of the proposed method.

The different influences of the general grain boundary and the twin boundary on the cavity formation were investigated in copper irradiated by helium at room temperature. Large number of the cavities with sizes smaller than 5 nm formed after irradiation, which were almost homogenously distributed inside the grains. However, the distribution of the cavities varied near the general grain boundary and the twin boundary. Cavities-depleted zone was readily observed near the general grain boundaries, which was rarely observed near the twin boundaries. Meanwhile, decoration of dense cavities within the grain boundary plane was observed. The results suggested the limited influence of the twin boundaries as the point defect sinks compared with the general grain boundaries.

The entropy squeezing properties of different types of moving three-level atoms coupled with a single-mode coherent field are studied. The influences of the moving velocity and initial states of the three-level atom on the entropy squeezing are discussed. The results show that, the entropy squeezing properties of the three-level atom depend on its initial state, moving velocity, and the type. A stationary three-level atom can not obtain a steady entropy squeezing whatever initial conditions are chosen, while a moving three-level atom can achieve a steady and optimal entropy squeezing through choosing higher velocity and appropriate initial state. Our result provides a simple method for preparing squeezing resources with ultra-low quantum noise of the three-level atomic system without additional any complex techniques.

FK506(Tacrolimus)is a systemic immunosuppressant approved by the *** and Drug ***506 has been shown to promote peripheral nerve regeneration,however,its precise mechanism of action and its pathways remain *** this study,we established a rat model of sciatic nerve injury and found that FK506 improved the morphology of the injured sciatic nerve,increased the numbers of motor and sensory neurons,reduced inflammatory responses,markedly improved the conduction function of the injured nerve,and promoted motor function *** findings suggest that FK506 promotes peripheral nerve structure recovery and functional regeneration by reducing the intensity of inflammation after neuronal injury and increasing the number of surviving neurons.

Helium-3(3He) implanted by solar wind in the lunar regolith is a valuable resource because of its potential as a fusion *** the basis of the Apollo regolith samples,a linear relationship between 3He abundance and solar wind flux,optical maturity and TiO2 content has been *** successfully launched its first lunar exploration satellite Chang-E 1(CE-1) on October 24,2007.A multi-channeled microwave radiometer was aboard the satellite with the purpose of measuring microwave thermal emission from the lunar surface *** the multi-channel brightness temperature(Tb) observed by CE-1,the global distribution of the regolith thickness was inverted from the multi-channel Tb,and was used to evaluate the total amount of 3He per unit area in the lunar *** global inventory of 3He was estimated as being 6.6×108 kg;3.7×108 kg for the lunar nearside and 2.9×108 kg for the lunar farside.

Preoperative risk factor analysis in orthotopic liver transplantation with pretransplant artificial liver support therapy

AIM： To assess the value of pre-transplant artificial liver support in reducing the pre-operative risk factors relating to early mortality after orthotopic liver transplantation （OLT）. METHODS： Fifty adult patients with various stages and various etiologies undergoing OLT procedures were treated with molecular adsorbent recycling system （MARS） as preoperative liver support therapy. The study included two parts, the first one is to evaluate the medical effectiveness of single MARS treatment with some clinical and laboratory parameters, which were supposed to be the therapeutical pre-transplant risk factors, the second part is to study the patients undergoing OLT using the regression analysis on preoperative risk factors relating to early mortality （30 d） after OLT. RESULTS： In the 50 patients, the statistically significant improvement in the biochemical parameters was observed （pre-treatment and post-treatment）. Eight patients avoided the scheduled Ltx due to significant relief of clinical condition or recovery of failing liver function, 8 patients died, 34 patients were successfully bridged to Ltx, the immediate outcome of this 34 patients within 30d observation was： 28 kept alive and 6 patients died. CONCLUSION： Pre-operative SOfa, level of creatinine, INR, TNF-α, IL-10 are the main preoperative risk factors that cause early death after operation, MARS treatment before transplantion can relieve these factors significantly.

One-dimensional hybrid simulations are carried out to study the plasma refilling process in the lunar *** theoretical and simulation studies have shown that ion-ion acoustic(ⅡA)instability can be initiated and electrostatic shock can be formed under the condition Te>>*** find that the time evolution ofⅡA instability and the formation of electrostatic shock strongly depend on initial cavity *** initial position of the electrostatic shock is dependent on the ratio between initial cavity density and background solar wind density,i.e.,the farther away the initial position,the lower is the *** the initial cavity density is low enough,the density and electric field profile across the wake become much ***,the back-to-back electrostatic shock is unstable in the case of lower cavity densities;at the late evolution stage,a new shock-like structure can be formed at the central region of the lunar wake.

The difference field RCS (d-RCS) has been defined to analyze the scattering from the target above a rough surface. The electric field integral equations (EFIEs) of the difference induced current Jsd on the rough surface, the induced electric current Jo and magnetic current Ko on the dielectric target under a TE wave incidence are derived. A small portion of the rough surface towards the target along the specular direction is taken to compute the scattering contribution Es0 from the rough surface towards the target, which improves the computation speed. A numerical iterative approach is developed to solve the EFIEs and bistatic d-RCS. The surface length for iterations is dependent on the scattering angle and discussed for comparison with Johnson’s method. Using the Monte-Carlo method to generate the Pierson-Morkowitz (P-M) ocean-like rough surface, bistatic d-RCS of the dielectric target, e.g. a cylinder or a square column, above the rough surface is numerically simulated. The induced electric and magnetic currents on the dielectric target and the difference induced current on the rough surface are numerically discussed.
