The d-d orbital coupling induced by crystal-phase engineering can effectively adjust the electronic structure of electrocatalysts,thus showing significant catalytic performance,while it has been rarely explored in electrochemical acetonitrile reduction reaction(ARR)to ***,we successfully realize the structural transformation of Pd Cu metallic aerogels(MAs)from face-centered cubic(FCC)to body-centered cubic(BCC)through annealing ***,the BCC Pd Cu MAs exhibit excellent ARR performance with high ethylamine selectivity of 90.91%,faradaic efficiency of 88.60%,yield rate of 316.0 mmol h^(-1)g^(-1)_(Pd+Cu)and long-term stability for consecutive electrolysis within 20 h at-0.55 V *** hydrogen electrode,outperforming than those of FCC Pd Cu *** the membrane electrode assembly system,BCC Pd Cu MAs also demonstrate excellent ethylamine yield rate of 389.5 mmol h^(-1)g^(-1)_(Pd+Cu).Density functional theory calculation reveals that the d-d orbital coupling in BCC Pd Cu MAs results in an evident correlation effect for the interaction of Pd and Cu sites,which boosts up the Cu sites electronic activities to enhance ARR *** work opens a new route to develop efficient ARR electrocatalysts from the perspective of crystalline structure transformation.

BACKGROUND The nutritional status is closely related to the prognosis of liver transplant re-cipients,but few studies have reported the role of preoperative objective nutri-tional indices in predicting liver transplant *** To compare the predictive value of various preoperative objective nutritional indicators for determining 30-d mortality and complications following liver transplantation(LT).METHODS A retrospective analysis was conducted on 162 recipients who underwent LT at our institution from December 2019 to June *** This study identified several independent risk factors associated with 30-d mor-tality,including blood loss,the prognostic nutritional index(PNI),the nutritional risk index(NRI),and the control nutritional *** 30-d mortality rate was 8.6%.Blood loss,the NRI,and the PNI were found to be independent risk factors for the occurrence of severe postoperative *** NRI achieved the highest prediction values for 30-d mortality[area under the curve(AUC)=0.861,P<0.001]and severe complications(AUC=0.643,P=0.011).Compared to those in the high NRI group,the low patients in the NRI group had lower preoperative body mass index and prealbumin and albumin levels,as well as higher alanine aminotransferase and total bilirubin levels,Model for End-stage Liver Disease scores and prothrombin time(P<0.05).Furthermore,the group with a low NRI exhibited significantly greater incidences of intraabdominal bleeding,primary graft nonfunction,and *** The NRI has good predictive value for 30-d mortality and severe complications following *** NRI could be an effective tool for transplant surgeons to evaluate perioperative nutritional risk and develop relevant nutritional therapy.

Carrimycin(CA),sanctioned by China’s National Medical Products Administration(NMPA)in 2019 for treating acute bronchitis and sinusitis,has recently been observed to exhibit multifaceted biological activities,encompassing anti-inflammatory,antiviral,and anti-tumor *** these applications,its efficacy in sepsis treatment remains *** study introduces a novel function of CA,demonstrating its capacity to mitigate sepsis induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and cecal ligation and puncture(CLP)in mice *** research employed in vitro assays,real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR),and RNA-seq analysis to establish that CA significantly reduces the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines,namely tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin 1 beta(IL-1β),and interleukin 6(IL-6),in response to LPS ***,Western blotting and immunofluorescence assays revealed that CA impedes Nuclear factor Kappa B(NF-κB)activation in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 *** these findings,in vivo experiments demonstrated that CA effectively alleviates LPS-and CLP-triggered organ inflammation in C57BL/6 *** insights were gained through 16S sequencing,highlighting CA’s pivotal role in enhancing gut microbiota diversity and modulating metabolic pathways,particularly by augmenting the production of short-chain fatty acids in mice subjected to ***,a comparative analysis revealed that CA’s anti-inflammatory efficacy surpasses that of equivalent doses of aspirin(ASP)and ***,these findings suggest that CA exhibits significant therapeutic potential in sepsis *** discovery provides a foundational theoretical basis for the clinical application of CA in sepsis management.

Higher nickel content endows Ni-rich cathode materials LiNi_(x)Co_yMn_(1-x-y)O_(2)(x>0.6)with higher specific capacity and high energy density,which is regarded as the most promising cathode materials for Li-ion ***,the deterioration of structural stability hinders its practical application,especially under harsh working conditions such as high-temperature *** these circumstances,it becomes particularly critical to clarify the impact of the crystal morphology on the structure and high-temperature performance as for the ultrahigh-nickel ***,we conducted a comprehensive comparison in terms of microstructure,high-temperature long-cycle phase evolution,and high-temperature electrochemical stability,revealing the differences and the working mechanisms among polycrystalline(PC),single-crystalline(SC)and Al doped SC ultrahigh-nickel *** results show that the PC sample suffers a severe irreversible phase transition along with the appearance of microcracks,resulting a serious decay of both average voltage and the energy *** the Al doped SC sample exhibits superior cycling stability with intact layered ***-situ XRD and intraparticle structural evolution characterization reveal that Al doping can significantly alleviate the irreversible phase transition,thus inhibiting microcracks generation and enabling enhanced ***,it exhibits excellent cycling performance in pouch-type full-cell with a high capacity retention of 91.8%after 500 cycles at 55℃.This work promotes the fundamental understanding on the correlation between the crystalline morphology and high-temperature electrochemical stability and provides a guide for optimization the Ni-rich cathode materials.

The grain protein content(GPC)is the key parameter for wheat grain nutritional *** study conducted a resampling GWAS analysis using 406 wheat accessions across eight environments,and identified four previously reported GPC *** analysis of 87 landraces and 259 modern cultivars revealed the loss of superior GPC haplotypes,especially in Chinese *** haplotypes were preferentially adopted in different agroecological zones and had broad effects on wheat yield and agronomic *** GPC QTLs did not significantly reduce yield,suggesting that high GPC can be achieved without a yield *** results of this study provide a reference for future GPC breeding in wheat using the four identified QTLs.

Privacy leakage is one of the most critical issues in machine learning and has attracted growing interest for tasks such as demonstrating potential threats in model attacks and creating model *** recent years, numerous studies have revealed various privacy leakage risks(e.g., data reconstruction attack, membership inference attack, backdoor attack, and adversarial attack) and several targeted defense approaches(e.g., data denoising, differential privacy, and data encryption). However, existing solutions generally focus on model parameter levels to disclose(or repair) privacy threats during the model training and/or model interference process, which are rarely applied at the model architecture level. Thus, in this paper, we aim to exploit the potential privacy leakage at the model architecture level through a pioneer study on neural architecture search(NAS) paradigms which serves as a powerful tool to automate a neural network *** investigating the NAS procedure, we discover two attack threats in the model architecture level called the architectural dataset reconstruction attack and the architectural membership inference attack. Our theoretical analysis and experimental evaluation reveal that an attacker may leverage the output architecture of an ongoing NAS paradigm to reconstruct its original training set, or accurately infer the memberships of its training set simply from the model architecture. In this work, we also propose several defense approaches related to these model architecture attacks. We hope our work can highlight the need for greater attention to privacy protection in model architecture levels(e.g., NAS paradigms).

Non-centrosymmetric(NCS)structure is an indispensable prerequisite for second-order nonlinear optical(NLO)***,the mainstream approach for designing new NCS structures still relies on chemical substitution,necessitating an urgent infusion of fresh *** this work,two isomorphic sulfides AeMn_(6)Ga_(6)S_(16)(Ae=Ca,1;Sr,2)are afforded by modifying the skeleton of centrosymmetric(CS)Mn_(2)Ga_(2)S_(5) via introducing strong electropositive alkaline-earth ***,the incorporation of Ca^(2+)/Sr^(2+)cations allows the elementary[MnGaS_(9)]_(∞)chains to reconfigure into bumpy[MnS_(6)]-[GaS_(4)]layers in a new engagement manner,thus enabling the conversion from CS to NCS *** modifications cause not only strong second-harmonic generation(SHG)responses(~1.5×benchmark AgGaS_(2)@1,700 nm),but also significantly feasible bandgaps(2.60-2.64 e V)compared to the sulfide Mn_(2)Ga_(2)S_(5)(1.36 e V),which ultimately facilitate ultrahigh laser-induced damage thresholds(4.4-6.6×AgGaS_(2)@1,064 nm for compounds 1 and 2).The present study offers an ingenious approach for the transformation of CS to NCS structure.
