The China Space Station Telescope(CSST)is a telescope with 2 m diameter,obtaining images with high quality through wide-field *** its first observation cycle,to capture time-domain observation data,the CSST is proposed to observe the Galactic halo across different *** data have significant potential for the study of properties of stars and ***,the density of stars in the Galactic center is high,and it is a well-known challenge to perform astrometry and photometry in such a dense star *** paper presents a deep learning-based framework designed to process dense star field images obtained by the CSST,which includes photometry,astrometry,and classifications of targets according to their light curve *** simulated CSST observation data,we demonstrate that this deep learning framework achieves photometry accuracy of 2%and astrometry accuracy of 0.03 pixel for stars with moderate brightness mag=24(i band),surpassing results obtained by traditional ***,the deep learning based light curve classification algorithm could pick up celestial targets whose magnitude variations are 1.7 times larger than magnitude variations brought by Poisson photon *** anticipate that our framework could be effectively used to process dense star field images obtained by the CSST.

The infection caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV)is associated with high mortality in piglets *** factors involved in the efficient replication of PEDV,however,remain largely *** recent proteomic study in the virus-host interaction network revealed a significant increase in the accumulation of CALML5(EF-hand protein calmodulin-like 5)following PEDV infection.A further study unveiled a biphasic increase of CALML5 in 2 and 12 h after viral *** trends were observed in the intestines of piglets in the early and late stages of the PEDV ***,CALML5 depletion reduced PEDV mRNA and protein levels,leading to a one-order-of-magnitude decrease in virus *** the early stage of PEDV infection,CALML5 affected the endosomal trafficking pathway by regulating the expression of endosomal sorting complex related cellular ***5 depletion also suppressed IFN-βand IL-6 production in the PEDV-infected cells,thereby indicating its involvement in negatively regulating the innate immune *** study reveals the biological function of CALML5 in the virology field and offers new insights into the PEDV-host cell interaction.

逐步增加培养基的蔗糖浓度可提高黄皮胚轴的耐脱水性。用差示扫描量热仪(DSC)和SDS-PAGE方法探讨了黄皮胚轴在耐脱水性获得过程中的水分状态和可溶性蛋白的变化。DSC图谱显示,蔗糖预培养胚轴的升温图谱与对照不同,有比较明显的台阶式变化,有玻璃化形成的倾向;应用线性回归方程法或冰熔化热法计算黄皮胚轴的不可冻结水,发现蔗糖预培养胚轴的不可冻结水含量与对照胚轴无显著差异。蛋白分析表明,蔗糖预培养诱导黄皮胚轴中可溶性蛋白增加68%,其中尤以20kD蛋白的增幅最大。

BACKGROUND The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)are novel inflammatory indicators that can be used to predict the severity and prognosis of various *** categorize acute pancreatitis by etiology into acute biliary pancreatitis(ABP)and hypertriglyceridemia-induced acute pancreatitis(HTGP).AIM To investigate the clinical significance of NLR and PLR in assessing persistent organ failure(POF)in HTGP and *** A total of 1450 patients diagnosed with acute pancreatitis(AP)for the first time at Shanxi Bethune Hospital between January 2012 and January 2023 were *** patients were categorized into two groups according to the etiology of AP:ABP in 530 patients and HTGP in 241 *** collected and compared the clinical data of the patients,including NLR,PLR,and AP prognostic scoring systems,within 48 h of hospital *** The NLR(9.1 vs 6.9,P<0.001)and PLR(203.1 vs 160.5,P<0.001)were significantly higher in the ABP group than in the HTGP *** the HTGP group,both NLR and PLR were significantly increased in patients with severe AP and those with a SOFA score≥***,in the ABP group,NLR and PLR were significantly elevated in patients with severe AP,modified computed tomography severity index score≥4,Japanese Severity Score≥3,and modified Marshall score≥***,NLR and PLR showed predictive value for the development of POF in both the ABP and HTGP *** NLR and PLR vary between ABP and HTGP,are strongly associated with AP prognostic scoring systems,and have predictive potential for the occurrence of POF in both ABP and HTGP.

High-temperature thin-film sensors(TFSs)often suffer from inadequate tolerance to elevated *** this study,an innovative approach is presented to fabricate in situ integrated TFSs with a core-shell structure on alloy components using coaxial multi-ink printing *** method replaces traditional layerby-layer(LbL) deposition and LbL sintering processes and achieves simplified one-step *** coaxial TFS includes a conductive Pt core for conducting and sensing and a dielectric shell for electrical isolation and high-temperature *** coaxial Pt resistance grid demonstrates excellent high-temperature stability,with a resistance drift rate of only 0.08%·h^(-1) at 800 ℃,significantly lower than traditional Pt *** employing this method,a Pt thin-film strain gauge(TFSG) is fabricated that boasts remarkable high-temperature electromechanical *** effectively addresses the problem of sensitivity degradation experienced by traditional LbL Pt TFSGs when subjected to high *** demonstrate the system integration potential of the technique by printing and verifying the functionality of a long-path thinfilm resistance grid on turbine blades,which can withstand butane flame up to ~1300℃.These results showcase the potential of core-shell structure of the coaxial TFS for high-temperature applications,providing a novel approach to develop high-performance TFS beyond traditional multilayer structure.

AIM:To investigate the difference of medial rectus(MR)and lateral rectus(LR)between acute acquired concomitant esotropia(AACE)and the healthy controls(HCs)detected by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).METHODS:A case-control *** subjects with AACE and eighteen HCs were *** scanning data were conducted in target-controlled central gaze with a 3-Tesla magnetic resonance *** muscles(EOMs)were scanned in contiguous image planes 2-mm thick spanning the EOM origins to the globe *** form posterior partial volumes(PPVs),the LR and MR cross-sections in the image planes 8,10,12,and 14 mm posterior to the globe were summed and multiplied by the 2-mm slice *** data were classified according to the right eye,left eye,dominant eye,and non-dominant eye,and the differences in mean cross-sectional area,maximum cross-sectional area,and PPVs of the MR and LR muscle in the AACE group and HCs group were compared under the above classifications ***:There were no significant differences between the two groups of demographic *** mean cross-sectional area of the LR muscle was significantly greater in the AACE group than that in the HCs group in the non-dominant eyes(P=0.028).The maximum cross-sectional area of the LR muscle both in the dominant and non-dominant eye of the AACE group was significantly greater than the HCs group(P=0.009,P=0.016).For the dominant eye,the PPVs of the LR muscle were significantly greater in the AACE than that in the HCs group(P=0.013),but not in the MR muscle(P=0.698).CONCLUSION:The size and volume of muscles dominant eyes of AACE subjects change significantly to overcome binocular *** LR muscle become larger to compensate for the enhanced convergence in the AACE.

The development of advanced aircraft relies on high performance thermal-structural materials,and carbon/carbon com-posites(C/C)composited with ultrahigh-temperature ceramics are ideal ***,the traditional routes of compositing are either inefficient and expensive or lead to a non-uniform distribution of ceramics in the *** with the traditional C/C-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by the reactive melt infiltration of ZrSi_(2),C/C-ZrB_(2)-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by the vacuum infiltration of ZrB_(2) combined with reactive melt infiltration have the higher content and more uniform distribution of the introduced ceramic *** mass and linear ablation rates of the C/C-ZrB_(2)-ZrC-SiC composites were respectively 68.9%and 29.7%lower than those of C/C-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by reactive melt *** ablation performance was improved because the volatilization of B_(2)O_(3),removes some of the heat,and the more uniformly distributed ZrO_(2),that helps produce a ZrO2-SiO2 continu-ous protective layer,hinders oxygen infiltration and decreases ablation.

Autophagy plays a pivotal role in diverse biological processes,including the maintenance and differentiation of neural stem cells(NSCs).Interestingly,while complete deletion of Fip200 severely impairs NSC maintenance and differentiation,inhibiting canonical autophagy via deletion of core genes,such as Atg5,Atg16l1,and Atg7,or blockade of canonical interactions between FIP200 and ATG13(designated as FIP200-4A mutant or FIP200 KI)does not produce comparable detrimental *** highlights the likely critical involvement of the non-canonical functions of FIP200,the mechanisms of which have remained ***,utilizing genetic mouse models,we demonstrated that FIP200 mediates non-canonical autophagic degradation of p62/sequestome1,primarily via TAX1BP1 in *** deletion of Tax1bp1 in fip200hGFAP conditional knock-in(cKI)mice led to NSC deficiency,resembling the fip200hGFAP conditional knockout(cKO)mouse ***,reintroducing wild-type TAX1BP1 not only restored the maintenance of NSCs derived from tax1bp1-knockout fip200hGFAP cKI mice but also led to a marked reduction in p62 aggregate ***,a TAX1BP1 mutant incapable of binding to FIP200 or NBR1/p62 failed to achieve this ***,conditional deletion of Tax1bp1 in fip200hGFAP cKO mice exacerbated NSC deficiency and p62 aggregate accumulation compared to fip200hGFAP cKO ***,these findings illustrate the essential role of the FIP200-TAX1BP1 axis in mediating the non-canonical autophagic degradation of p62 aggregates towards NSC maintenance and function,presenting novel therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases.

Despite the tremendous progress of chimeric antigen receptor T(CAR-T)cell therapy in hematological malignancies,their application in solid tumors has been limited largely due to T-cell exhaustion in the tumor microenvironment(TME)and systemic toxicity caused by excessive cytokine *** a key regulator of the immunosuppressive TME,TGF-βpromotes cytokine synthesis via the NF-κB ***,we coexpressed SMAD7,a suppressor of TGF-βsignaling,with a HER2-targeted CAR in engineered T *** novel CAR-T cells displayed high cytolytic efficacy and were resistant to TGF-β-triggered exhaustion,which enabled sustained tumoricidal capacity after continuous antigen ***,SMAD7 substantially reduced the production of inflammatory cytokines by antigen-primed CAR-T ***,SMAD7 downregulated TGF-βreceptor I and abrogated the interplay between the TGF-βand NF-κB pathways in CAR-T *** a result,these CAR-T cells persistently inhibited tumor growth and promoted the survival of tumor-challenged mice regardless of the hostile tumor microenvironment caused by a high concentration of TGF-β.SMAD7 coexpression also enhanced CAR-T-cell infiltration and persistent activation in patient-derived tumor ***,our study demonstrated the feasibility of SMAD7 coexpression as a novel approach to improve the efficacy and safety of CAR-T-cell therapy for solid tumors.

Stretchable electronics that monitor joint activity and treat diseases based on liquid metal could be used in the development of healthcare *** devices can be seamlessly integrated with human ***,most high-precision microstructures and complex patterns are difficult to fabricate due to the limitations of conventional fabrication solutions,resulting in suboptimal performance under practical ***,a liquid-metal stretchable system utilizing natural leaf veins was reported as microstructures,which was based on a biomimetic concept and utilized an all-solution process for the preparation of complex *** systems are ultra-high tensile(800%tensile strain),environmentally stable(20 days)and mechanically durable(300-cycle).The system can accurately recognize the wearer's finger bending level as well as simple gesture *** the same time,the system acts as a wearable heater,which can realize the fast heating behavior of heating up to 50℃in 3 min under the human body-safe voltage(1.5 V).The tensile stability is demonstrated by the heterogeneous integration of lasers(405 nm)with the system interconnects for a stretchable and wearable light source.
