Removal of arsenic from water by silver nanoparticles and Fe-Ce mixed oxide supported on polymeric anion exchanger

By encapsulating nanoscale particles of goethite(α-FeO(OH)),hydrous ceric oxide(CeO_(2)·H_(2)O,HCO)and silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)in the pores of polystyrene anion exchanger D201,a novel nanocomposite FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201 was prepared for the effective removal of arsenic from *** isotherm study shows that FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201 has excellent adsorption performance for As(III)and As(V),with an increased adsorption capacity of As(III)to 40.12 mg/g compared to that of 22.03 mg/g by the composite adsorbent without AgNPs(FeO(OH)-HCO-D201).The adsorption kinetics data showed that the sorption rate of FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201 for As(III)is less than that for As(V),and the adsorption of As(III)and As(V)were consistent with the pseudo-second-order model and the pseudofirst-order model,*** or basic conditions are favored for the adsorption of As(III/V)by FeO(OH)-*** with nitrate/chloride/bicarbonate,sulfate/silicate/phosphate showed more remarkable inhibition of arsenic removal by FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201,whereas natural organic matter showed no interference to the arsenic *** As(V)adsorption involved different interactions such as electrostatic attraction and surface complexation,while the adsorption of As(III)involved the part oxidization of As(III)to As(V)and the simultaneous adsorption of As(III)and As(V).In addition to the Ce(IV)in CeO_(2)·H_(2)O acted as an oxidant,the synergistic effect ofα-FeO(OH)and AgNPs also contributed to the oxidization of As(III)to As(V).Moreover,the reusable property suggested that this FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201 nanocomposite has great potential for arsenic-contaminated water purification.

Three-step synthesis of flavanostilbenes with a 2-cyclohepten-1-one core by Cu-mediated [5+2] cycloaddition/decarboxylation cascade

The first synthesis of flavanostilbenes with a 2-cyclohepten-1-one core was carried out by applying an effective strategy in three steps from abundant polymerized flavanol resources. A key regio-and stereoselective Cu-mediated [5+2] cycloaddition/decarboxylation cascade was explored and applied without the use of protecting groups, and water as an environmentally friendly solvent contributed to the cascade. The intramolecular [5+2] cycloaddition mechanism, involving oxidation and dearomatization of the flavanol unit as a diene, was proposed and supported by the synthesis of the intermediate. The regioselectivity of the cyclization was found to be dependent on the substitution effects of the stilbene units by the exploration of substrate scope.

研究了一类超收敛的显式二阶积分方法。该方法从哈密顿体系动力相场出发,利用二阶泰勒展开式,构造了动力时程分析迭代算法的基本格式。采用高斯积分处理在迭代步内荷载项的积分,并引入超收敛因子α和β来提高算法的收敛步长和计算稳定性。该方法避免了整体刚度矩阵的求逆和相乘,因此不需要进行整体刚度矩阵的组集,是一种快速的新型动力显式积分法。引入超收敛因子后,该算法可大幅提高收敛步长,可在理论时间步长下稳定收敛。数值算例表明:双因子超收敛显式二阶积分法比传统精细积分法具有更高算法稳定性和精度;在合适分析步长下可与常用积分算法保持一致的精度和稳定性,且随着分析步长的增大具有更好的精度稳定性。

Analysis of risk factors for bile leakage after laparoscopic exploration and primary suture of common bile duct

BACKGROUND Bile leakage is a common complication following laparoscopic common bile duct exploration(LCBDE)with primary duct closure(PDC).Identifying and analyzing the risk factors associated with bile leakage is crucial for improving surgical *** To explore the value analysis of common risk factors for bile leakage after LCBDE and PDC,with a focus on strict adherence to *** Clinical data of 106 cases undergoing LCBDE+PDC in the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Department(Division 1)of Chuzhou First People’s Hospital from April 2019 to March 2024 were *** and multiple factor regression analysis were conducted on common risk factors for bile *** change in surgical time was analyzed using the cumulative summation(CUSUM)method,and the minimum number of cases required to complete the learning curve for PDC was obtained based on the proposed fitting curve by identifying the CUSUM maximum *** Multifactor logistic regression analysis showed that fibrinous inflammation and direct bilirubin/indirect bilirubin were significant independent high-risk factors for postoperative bile leakage(Pfunction,unobstructed bile-pancreatic duct convergence,exact stone clearance,and sufficient surgical experience to complete the learning curve,PDC remains the preferred method for bile duct closure and is worthy of clinical promotion.

Metal-organic polyhedra as dynamic cross-linker for recyclable mixed matrix membranes with promising dimension stability

Mixed matrix membranes（MMMs） are designed by incorporating microporous inorganic fillers into polymer matrix for the integration of inorganics' excellent gas separation performance with polymers' promising flexibility. However, due to the complex interphase interaction, the prevention of long-term aging is still challenging and the poor processability/recyclability of MMMs hinders their extensive applications. Herein, a coordination assembly protocol is developed for the fabrication of MMMs with both excellent processability/recyclability upon thermal annealing and promising dimension stability even under high gas pressure. Polymers bearing isophthalic acid（IPA） as side chains are applied to coordinate with Cu2+and the assembled 2.5 nm microporous metal-organic polyhedra（MOP）, {Cu24IPA24}, serves as multi-functional cross-linkers for the polymer network formation. The MOPs' well-defined microporosity grants MMMs the capability for O2/N2separation while their activated dynamics at high temperatures（>120 ℃） endows polymer networks with excellent processability. In contrast to conventional supramolecular units, the MOPs possess unique logarithmic ligand-exchange kinetics and they show nearly frozen bonding dynamics at room temperature, ensuring promising dimensional stability to overcome the long-term aging and high gas pressure effect. This work not only provides fundamental understanding of the unique relaxation dynamics of complex systems with intertwined dynamics of supramolecular bonds and polymer chains, but also paves new avenues for the fabrication of robust and recyclable MMMs and elastomers.

传统近场动力学方法采用积分方程替代连续介质力学中的偏微分方程,获得了对未知函数无光滑限制且更具一般性的方程,使得该方法特别适合模拟裂纹自发萌生和扩展等非连续问题,但高昂的计算成本往往限制了其在实际工程中的应用。采用一种基于快速卷积的近场动力学方法,以提高近场动力学方法的计算效率。该算法采用快速傅里叶变换来完成卷积计算,实现近场动力学方程中积分项的计算,可显著降低近场动力学的计算成本。基于快速卷积近场动力学的计算流程及其数值实现特性,提出了一套适用于该算法的前处理方法,并通过两个含预制裂纹的受拉方板算例验证了该前处理方法的可行性。在此基础上,进一步提出了随机裂纹扩展预测的建模方法,为岩土体随机裂纹扩展的预测研究提供了一个新的可行的思路。

Thickness-dependent magnetic property of FeNi thin film grown on flexible graphene substrate

Electronics over flexible substrates offer advantages of flexibility, portability and low cost, and promising applications in the areas of energy, information, defense science and medical service. In recent years, tremendous progress has been witnessed in the development of flexible wearable devices that can be potentially massively deployed. Of particular interest are intelligent wearable devices, such as sensors and storage cells, which can be integrated by flexible magnetoelectronic devices based on magnetic thin films. To examine this further, the magnetic properties of FeNi thin films with different thicknesses grown on flexible graphene substrate are investigated at room temperature. The coercivity increases with increasing thicknesses of FeNi thin film, which can be attributed to the increase of grain size and decrease of surface roughness. Moreover, the thickness modulated magnetic property shows a magnetic anisotropy shift increase with varying thicknesses of FeNi thin film by using measurements based on ferromagnetic resonance, which further enhances the resonance frequency. In addition, the resonance peak is quite stable after bending it for ten cycles. The result is promising for the future design of flexible magnetoelectronic devices.

Elimination of Anti-spiral Waves by Local Inhomogeneity in Oscillatory Systems

Anti-spiral waves are controlled in an oscillatory system by using a local inhomogeneity. The inhomogeneity acts as a wave source, and gives rise to the propagating plane waves, tt is found that there is a critical pacemaking domain size below which no wave will be created at all. Two types of ordered waves （target waves and traveling waves） are created depending on the geometry of the local inhomogeneity. The competition between the anti-spiral waves and the ordered waves is discussed. Two different competition mechanisms were observed, which are related to the ordered waves obtained from different local inhomogeneities. It is found that traveling waves with either lower frequency or higher frequency can both eliminate the anti-spiral waves, while only the target waves with lower absolute value of frequency can eliminate the anti-spiral waves. This method also applies to outwardly rotating spiral waves. The control mechanism is intuitively explained and the control method is easily operative.

Phase transformation behavior of Ti_(49)Ni_(49.5)Fe_1V_(0.5) and Ti_(48)Ni_(48.5)Fe_1V_(2.5) alloys after different heat treatments

The effects of heat treatments on the phase transformation behavior of Ti49Ni49.5Fe1V0.5and Ti48Ni48.5Fe1V2.5 alloys were investigated. The results indicate that the alloys subjected to different heat treatments have B2 structure at room temperature. All the specimens exhibit a twostage B2 → R → B19r martensitic transformation on cooling, but a B19’ → B2 one-stage reverse martensitic transformation on heating except aged A1 alloy, which undergoes an abnormal two-stage transformation upon heating. The phase transformation temperatures are affected by heat treatments and V content, which can be attributed to the variation of the second-phase particles content in the matrix.

An improved yield criterion characterizing the anisotropic and tension-compression asymmetric behavior of magnesium alloy

A novel yield criterion based on CPB06 considering anisotropic and tension-compression asymmetric behaviors of magnesium alloys was derived and proposed(called M_CPB06).This yield criterion can simultaneously predict the yield stresses and the Lankford ratios at different angles(if any)under uniaxial tension,compression,equal-biaxial and equal-compression ***,in order to further describe the anisotropic strain-hardening characteristics of magnesium alloy,the proposed M_CPB06 criterion was further evolved to the M_CPB06ev model by expressing the parameters of the M_CPB06 model as functions of the plastic *** the model was developed,the stresses and Lankford ratios of AZ31B and ZK61M magnesium alloys at different angles under tensile,compressive and through-thickness compressive conditions were used to calibrate the M_CPB06/M_CPB06ev and the existing CPB06ex2 *** results reveal that compared with the CPB06ex2 yield criterion with equal quantity of coefficients,the M_CPB06 criterion exhibits certain advancement,and meanwhile the M_CPB06ev model can relatively accurately predict the change of the yield locus with increase of the plastic ***,the M_CPB06ev model was developed through UMAT in *** element simulations using the subroutine were conducted on the specimens of different angles to the rolling direction under tension and *** results were highly consistent with the experimental results,demonstrating a good reliability and accuracy of the developed subroutine.
