The seven long tunnels of Jinping II hydropower station are deeply *** width and evolution characteristics of excavation damaged zone(EDZ) are the key problem to the design of tunnels excavation and *** order to study this problem,several specific experimental tunnels with different overburden and geometric sizes were excavated at this *** borehole camera,sliding micrometer,cross-hole acoustic wave equipment and acoustic emission apparatus were *** paper introduced the comprehensive in situ experimental methods through pre-installed facilities and pre-drilled *** properties of the surrounding rock mass,including cracks,deformation,elastic wave and micro fractures,were measured during the whole process of the tunnel *** width and characteristics of formation and evolution of tunnels EDZ were analyzed under different construction methods involving of TBM and drilling and blasting,the test tunnels were excavated by full-face or two *** relationships between EDZ and tunnel geometry sizes,overburden and excavation method were described as *** results will not only contribute a great deal to the analysis of rock mass behavior in deeply buried rock mass,but also provide direct data for support design and rockburst prediction.

This paper addressed the international transferring t endency of manufacturing industry one by one as follows: (1. The developed count ries realize manufacturing industry structure upgrade reling on worldwide tr ansference not only domestic transference. On one hand, the TNCs make cross-inv estments, transnational merger & acquisition so as to achieve the optimum colloc ation of R&D resources, and obtain innovation in knowledge and technology. On th e other hand, the developed countries transfer labor and resource intensive indu stry as well as the labor-intensive link of the production chain in highly tech nology industry to the developing countries, to make their industrial structure escalation. (2. The adjustment and upgrade of manufacturing industry presents "m ulti-step type". First, the object of international transference substitutes th e capital-intensive industry and maturing industry with complicate technique fo r the industry with labor-intensive, simple technique or higher pollution, or s ubstitutes non-core complex technological procedure and parts and components fo r assembly in manufacturing process. Secondly, technology transference forms "br ain-hand and foot" pattern, i.e. the developed countries are increasingly p aying more and more attention to the research and control of core technology, th us transferring simple technique and labor-intensive procedure in higher scienc e and technology. Thirdly, the developed countries begins to transfer both capit al and technology intensive production, as well as transfer certain procedures i n higher technology production process to a few developing countries, even t o transfer parts of R & D to developing countries. (3) TNCs promote the global m anufacturing network (GMN) by recombination and transfer. TNCs organize producti on, trade, technological research and transference through foreign direct invest ment (FDI) all over the world, as a result, GMN makes the national competence no longer depend on absolu

Dear Editor,A variant with single substitution in the LRR-only protein CsLRR1.which regulates cucumber resistance to powdery mildew through a salicylic-acid-mediated pathway,provides a major source of resistance for cucumber *** powdery mildew(PM),mainly caused by the biotrophic pathogen Podosphaera xanthii(synonym Podosphaera fusca),poses a serious threat to cucumber crops globally,leading to substantial reductions in fruit yield and quality(Martinez-Cruz et al.,{1.1.).

In order to store and manage a large amount of ground and indoor image data with high resolution, an integrated data management system needs to be developed. Possible strategies for this purpose were discussed together with initial test on the newly defined 3D maps. The features of such 3D maps, data organization, key techniques used for the map storage, such as image compression based on wavelet transformation, quadtree index, update and retrieval, were analyzed, with the goals of bringing some profits to the storage and management of the digital data in the visual construction of digital mine, digital city and digital community.

This paper describes the design of adaptive neural controller for the longitudinal dynamics of a generic hypersonic flight vehicle (HFV) which are decomposed into two functional systems, namely the altitude subsystem and the velocity subsystem. For each subsystem, one adaptive neural controller is investigated based on the normal output-feedback formulation. For the altitude subsystem, the high gain observer (HGO) is taken to estimate the unknown newly defined states. Only one neural network (NN) is employed to approximate the lumped uncertain system nonlinearity during the controller design which is considerably simpler than the ones based on back-stepping scheme with the strict-feedback form. The Lyapunov stability of the NN weights and filtered tracking error are guaranteed in the semiglobal sense. Numerical simulation study of step response demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in spite of system uncertainty.

The steady-state dendritic growth from the undercooled binary alloy melt with the far field flow is considered. By neglecting the interface energy, interface kinetics and buoyancy effects in the system, we obtaine the steady-state solution for the case of the large Schmidt number, in terms of the multiple variable expansion method. The changes of the temperature and concentration fields, the morphology of the interface, the normalization parameter and the Peclet number of the system induced by uniform external flow are derived. The results show that, compared with the system of dendritic growth from undercooled pure melt, the convective flow in the system of growth from undercooled binary alloy has stronger effects on the morphology of the interface. Nevertheless, the shape of the interface still remains nearly a paraboloid.

La0.7 Ca0.3 CrO3 powder consisting of superfine and uniform particles （ 1.0-2.0 nm ） were synthesized using a glycine-nitrate process （ GNP ）. The sintering and electronic conducting properties of La0.7 Ca0.3 CrO3 were invetigated in the sintering temperature range of 1.2.0-1.450 ℃. The desired morphology of the powder significantly improved its sinterability. La0.7 Ca0.3 CrO3 ceramics sintered at 1.2.0-1.450 ℃ show high relative densities above 95 % . The ceramics sintered at 1.2.0-1.400 ℃ have very similar electronic conduct- ing properties, providing electronic conductivities around 55 Ω^-1.cm^-1.at a measuring temperature of 800 ℃ . further increasing the sintering temperature to 1.50 ℃ led to an apparent degradation of electronic conducting properties. This research demonstrates the advantage of the GNP in producing La0.7 Ca0.3 CrO3 with respect to the enhanced sintering properties and superior electronic conducting properties.

A two-dimensional numerical model of extratropical storm surge and inundation in Bohai Bay was built based on the unsteady flow Navier-Stokes equations. The model included two sections, one was for the simulation of storm surge tidal level and the other for the simulation of storm surge inundation in the coastal area. While simulating the storm surge tidal level, the alternating direction implicit (ADI) method was applied to dispersing and solving 2. storm surge equations. In the simulation of storm surge inundation, the 2. unsteady flow equations were dispersed and solved using the structureless grids of finite volume method (FVM). A coupling calculation mode of the process of inundation and storm surge tidal level variation was proposed, therefore the storm surge inundation process and area could be calculated while simulating and forecasting the process of storm surge tidal setup. furthermore, an extratropical storm surge and inundation in Bohai Bay were simulated using this numerical model. Simulation results are in good agreement with the measured data, which shows that this numerical model provides a new method of simulating and forecasting storm surge and inundation in Bohai Bay.

An infinite slope stability numerical model driven by the comprehensive physically-based integrated hydrology model(InHM) is *** this approach,the failure plane is assumed to be parallel to the hydraulic gradient instead of the slope *** method helps with irregularities in complex terrain since depressions and flat areas are allowed in the *** present model has been tested for two synthetic single slopes and a small catchment in the Mettman Ridge study area in Oregon,United States,to estimate the shallow landslide *** results show that the present approach can reduce the simulation error of hydrological factors caused by the rolling topography and depressions,and is capable of estimating spatial-temporal variations for landslide susceptibilities at simple slopes as well as at catchment scale,providing a valuable tool for the prediction of shallow landslides.
