Analysis of QTLs for the Trichome Density on the Upper and Downer Surface of Leaf Blade in Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.]

Trichomes （plant hairs） are present on nearly all land plants and are known to play important roles in plant protection, specifically against insect herbivory, drought, and UV radiation. The identification of quantitative trait loci （QTL） associated with trichome density should help to interpret the molecular genetic mechanism of soybean trichome density. 184 recombinant inbred lines （RILs）, derived from a cross between soybean cultivars Kefeng 1 and Nannong 1138-2 were used as segregating population for evaluation of TDU （trichome density on the upper surface of leaf blade） and TDD （trichome density on the downer surface of leaf blade）. A total of 15 QTL were detected on molecular linkage groups （MLG） A2, Dla, Dlb, E and H by composite interval mapping （CIM） and among all the QTL, qtuA2-1, qtuD 1 a-1, qtuD lb-2, qtuH-2 qtuE-1, qtdDlb-2, and qtdH- 2 were affirmed by multiple interval mapping （MIM）. The contribution ofphenotypic variance of qtuH-2 was 31.81 and 29.4% by CIM and MIM, respectively, suggesting it might be major gene Ps loci. Only 10 pairs of main QTL interactions for TDU were detected, explained a range of 0.2-5.1% of phenotypic variations for each pair for a total of 22.8%. The QTL on MLG Dlb affecting trichome density were mapped near to Rsc-7 conditioning resistance to SMV （soybean mosaic virus）. This study showed that the genetic mechanism of trichome density was the mixed major gene and polygene inheritance, and also suggested that the causal nature between trichome density and other agronomic traits.

Plant height is a key plant architectural trait that affects the seed yield,harvest index and lodging resistance in Brassica napus L.,although the genetic mechanisms affecting plant height remain ***,a semi-dwarf mutant,df34,was obtained by ethyl methanesulphonate-induced *** analysis showed that the semi-dwarf phenotype is controlled by one semi-dominant gene,which was located on chromosome C03 using a bulked segregant analysis coupled with whole-genome sequencing,and this gene was named *** BnaSD.C3 was fine-mapped to a 297.35-kb segment of the“Darmor-bzh”genome,but there was no potential candidate gene for the semi-dwarf trait underlying this ***,the interval was aligned to the Zhongshuang 11 reference ***,combining structural variation analysis,transcriptome sequencing,phytohormone analyses and gene annotation information,BnaC03G0466900ZS and BnaC03G0478900ZS were determined to be the most likely candidate genes affecting the plant height of *** study provides a novel major locus for breeding and new insights into the genetic architecture of plant height in ***.

Currently,three types of superconducting quadrupole magnets are used in particle accelerators:cos 2θ,CCT,and ***,all three coil configurations have complex spatial geometries,which make magnet manufacturing and strain-sensitive superconductor applications *** with the three existing quadrupole coils,the racetrack quadrupole coil has a simple shape and manufacturing process,but there have been few theoretical *** this paper,the two-dimensional and three-dimensional analytical expressions for the magnetic field in coil-dominated racetrack superconducting quadrupole magnets are *** analytical expressions of the field harmonics and gradient are fully resolved and depend only on the geometric parameters of the coil and current ***,a genetic algorithm is applied to obtain a solution for the coil geometry parameters with field harmonics on the order of 10^(-4).Finally,considering the practical engineering needs of the accelerator interaction region,electromagnetic design examples of racetrack quadrupole magnets with high gradients,large apertures,and small apertures are described,and the application prospects of racetrack quadrupole coils are analyzed.

The genome-wide meiotic recombination landscape in ciliates and its implications for crossover regulation and genome evolution

Tuning the local coordination environment of silver(Ⅰ) coordination networks with counterions for enhanced electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction

Very recently, the local coordination environment of active sites has been found to strongly influence their performance in electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction by tuning the intrinsic kinetics of CO_(2) activation and intermediate stabilization. It is imperative to elucidate the mechanism for such an influence towards the rational design of efficient catalysts;however, the complex interactions between the multiple factors involved in the system make it challenging to establish a clear structure–performance relationship. In this work, we chose ion-intercalated silver(I)-based coordination networks(AgCNs) with a well-defined structure as a model platform, which enables us to understand the regulation mechanism of counterions as the counterions are the only tuning factor involved in such a system. We prepared two isostructural Ag CNs with different intercalation ions or counterions of BF_(4)^(-) and ClO_(4)^(-)(named as AgCNs-BF_(4) and AgCNs-ClO_(4)) and found that the former has a more competitive CO_(2) electroreduction performance than the latter. AgCNs-BF_(4) achieves the highest Faradaic efficiency for CO_(2) to CO of 87.1% at-1.0 V(vs. RHE) with a higher partial current density, while AgCNs-ClO_(4) exhibits only 77.2% at the same applied *** characterizations and theoretical calculation reveal that the presence of BF_(4)^(-)is more favorable for stabilizing the COOH^(*) intermediate by weakening hydrogen bonds, which accounts for the superior activity of Ag CNs-BF_(4).

With continuous hydrocarbon exploration extending to deeper basins,the deepest industrial oil accumulation was discovered below 8,200 m,revealing a new exploration ***,the extent to which oil exploration can be extended,and the prediction of the depth limit of oil accumulation(DLOA),are issues that have attracted significant attention in petroleum *** it is difficult to characterize the evolution of the physical properties of the marine carbonate reservoir with burial depth,and the deepest drilling still cannot reach the ***,the DLOA cannot be predicted by directly establishing the relationship between the ratio of drilling to the dry layer and the *** this study,by establishing the relationships between the porosity and the depth and dry layer ratio of the carbonate reservoir,the relationships between the depth and dry layer ratio were obtained *** depth corresponding to a dry layer ratio of 100%is the *** on this,a quantitative prediction model for the DLOA was finally *** results indicate that the porosity of the carbonate reservoir,Lower Ordovician in Tazhong area of Tarim Basin,tends to decrease with burial depth,and manifests as an overall low porosity reservoir in deep *** critical porosity of the DLOA was 1.8%,which is the critical geological condition corresponding to a 100%dry layer ratio encountered in the *** depth of the DLOA was 9,000 *** study provides a new method for DLOA prediction that is beneficial for a deeper understanding of oil accumulation,and is of great importance for scientific guidance on deep oil drilling.

应用植物数量性状主基因＋多基因混合遗传模型多世代联合分析方法，研究了甘蓝型油菜1064—3×H105（组合I）和1064-4×H134（组合Ⅱ）的P1、P2、F1、B2、B2和F2 6个世代含油量的遗传。含油量次数分布显示2个组合的B1、B2和F2群体均呈连续分布且显示多峰，呈明显的主基因＋多基因遗传的特征。遗传分析结果表明：2个组合的最佳遗传模型均为D-2模型，即一对加性主基因＋加一显性多基因混合模型。2个组合中，广义遗传率为47．87％～65．13％，平均为53．70％；而环境变异占表型变异的34．87％-52．13％，平均为46．30％，可见油菜含油量性状受基因型和环境双重影响。2个组合中，多基因遗传率为15．22％-60．41％，平均为45．32％；而主基因遗传率为2．26％一33．10％，平均为8．38％，表明含油量的遗传体系中，微效多基因的遗传贡献占主要部分，高含油量育种应在高世代进行选择。
