Calcifying tendinopathy is a tendon disorder with calcium deposits in the mid-substance presented with chronic activity-related pain, tenderness, local edema and various degrees of incapacitation. Most of current treatments are neither effective nor evidence-based because its underlying pathogenesis is poorly understood and treatment is usually symptomatic. Understanding the pathogenesis of calcifying tendlinopathy is essential for its effective evidence-based management. One of the key histopathological features of calcifying tendinopathy is the presence of chondrocyte phenotype which surrounds the calcific deposits, suggesting that the formation of calcific deposits was *** the origin of cells participating in the formation of chondrocyte phenotype and ossification is still unknown, many evidences have suggested that erroneous tendon cell differentiation is involved in the process. Recent studies have shown the presence of stem cells with self-renewal and multi-differentiation potential in human,horse, mouse and rat tendon tissues. We hypothesized that the erroneous differentiation of tendon-derived stem cells （TDSCs） to chondrocytes or osteoblasts leads to chondrometaplasia and ossification and hence weaker tendon, failed healing and pain, in calcifying tendinopathy. We present a hypothetical model on the pathogenesis and evidences to support this hypothesis. Understanding the key role of TDSCs in the pathogenesis of calcifying tendinopathy and the mechanisms contributing to their erroneous differentiation would provide new opportunities for the management of calcifying tendinopathy. The re-direction of the differentiation of resident TDSCs to tenogenic or supplementation of MSCsprogrammed for tenogenic differentiation may be enticing targets for the management of calcifying tendinopathy in e future.

Coding metasurfaces can manipulate electromagnetic wave in real time with high degree of freedom,the fascinating properties of which enrich the metasurface design with a wide range of application ***,most of the coding metasurfaces are designed based on external excitation framework with the wired electrical or wireless light control devices,thus inevitably causing the interference with electromagnetic wave transmission and increasing the complexity of the metasurface *** this work,a simplistic framework of single-pixel-programmable metasurfaces integrated with a capsuled LED array is proposed to dynamically control electromagnetic *** framework fully embeds the photoresistor in the meta-atom,controlling the LED array to directly illuminate the photoresistor to modulate the phase *** this manner,the complex biasing network is transformed to the universal LED array,which means the physical control framework can be transformed to a software framework,and thus the functions of the metasurface can be freely manipulated by encoding the capsuled LED array avoiding mutual coupling of adjacent meta-atoms in real *** the results verify that the far-field scattering pattern can be customized with this singlepixel-programmable ***,this work provides a universal framework for coding metasurface design,which lays the foundation for metasurface intelligent perception and adaptive modulation.

Two-dimensional Cr2Cl3S3 Janus magnetic semiconductor with large magnetic exchange interaction and high-TC

The two-dimensional (2D) Janus monolayers are promising in spintronic device application due to their enhanced magnetic couplings and Curie temperatures. Van der Waals CrCl3 monolayer has been experimentally proved to have an in-plane magnetic easy axis and a low Curie temperature of 17 K, which will limit its application in spintronic devices. In this work, we propose a new Janus monolayer Cr2Cl3S3 based on the first principles calculations. The phonon dispersion and elastic constants confirm that Janus monolayer Cr2Cl3S3 is dynamically and mechanically stable. Our Monte Carlo simulation results based on magnetic exchange constants reveal that Janus monolayer Cr2Cl3S3 is an intrinsic ferromagnetic semiconductor with TC of 180 K, which is much higher than that of CrCl3 due to the enhanced ferromagnetic coupling caused by S substitution. Moreover, the magnetic easy axis of Janus Cr2Cl3S3 can be tuned to the perpendicular direction with a large magnetic anisotropy energy (MAE) of 142 mu eV/Cr. furthermore, the effect of biaxial strain on the magnetic property of Janus monolayer Cr2Cl3S3 is evaluated. It is found that the Curie temperature is more robust under tensile strain. This work indicates that the Janus monolayer Cr2Cl3S3 presents increased Curie temperature and out-of-plane magnetic easy axis, suggesting greater application potential in 2D spintronic devices.

目的:探讨温度敏感的水凝胶与富血小板血浆(platelet-rich plasma,PRP)对大鼠前交叉韧带(anterior cruciate ligament,ACL)部分损伤的愈合是否有促进作用。方法:按照既往文献报道的方法制备PRP,将其与温度敏感的水凝胶——单甲氧基聚乙二醇-聚乳酸乙醇酸嵌段共聚物(m PEG-PLGA)在特定条件下混合,制备成复合体。共采用110只12周龄雄性Sprague-Dawley大鼠右侧膝关节,其中10只作为完整对照组(n=10,ACL无损伤),其余100只随机分为2组:损伤对照组(n=60,ACL部分损伤后用生理盐水处理损伤部位)、实验组(n=40,ACL部分损伤后将m PEG-PLGA-PRP复合体注射于损伤部位)。共观察三个时间点:手术后即刻、术后2周和术后6周。观察并比较组间与组内的组织学与生物力学变化。结果:组织学结果表明,实验组术后6周组织学观察可见ACL损伤已出现部分愈合,炎性细胞减少,出现新生纤维组织,但走行与正常ACL组织仍有差异,可见新生血管形成。韧带成熟度评分,实验组显著高于损伤对照组(20.6±4.9 vs 4.7±1.0,P<0.01)。生物力学实验结果表明,术后6周拉断强度实验组显著高于对照组(52.7±11.2 vs 30.3±8.8,P<0.05)。结论:在大鼠模型下采用m PEG-PLGA-PRP复合体治疗ACL部分损伤,术后6周在组织学与生物力学方面与对照组相比均有显著改善,但是尚未恢复到损伤前的水平。

In this tutorial paper, we explore the field of quantized feedback control, which has gained significant attention due to the growing prevalence of networked control systems. These systems require the transmission of feedback information, such as measurements and control signals, over digital networks, presenting novel challenges in estimation and control design. Our examination encompasses various topics, including the minimal information needed for effective feedback control, the design of quantizers, strategies for quantized control design and estimation,achieving consensus control with quantized data, and the pursuit of high-precision tracking using quantized measurements.

Dynamics of 2×2 matrix non-Hermitian quantum systems on Bloch sphere

By casting evolution to the Bloch sphere, the dynamics of 2 × 2 matrix non-Hermitian systems are investigated in detail. This investigation reveals that there are four kinds of dynamical modes for such systems. The different modes are classified by different kinds of fixed points, namely,the elliptic point, spiral point, critical node, and degenerate point. The Hermitian systems and the unbroken PT non-Hermitian cases belong to the category with elliptic points. The degenerate point just corresponds to the systems with exceptional point(EP). The topological properties of the fixed point are also discussed. It is interesting that the topological charge for the degenerate point is two, while the others are one.

Protein-mediated chromatin interactions can be revealed by coupling proximity-based ligation with chromatin ***,these techniques require complex experimental procedures and millions of cells per experiment,which limits their widespread application in life science ***,we develop a novel method,Hi-Tag,that identifies high-resolution,long-range chromatin interactions through transposase tagmentation and chromatin proximity ligation(with a phosphorothioate-modified linker).Hi-Tag can be implemented using as few as 100,000 cells,involving simple experimental procedures that can be completed within 1.5 ***,Hi-Tag is capable of using its own data to identify the binding sites of specific proteins,based on which,it can acquire accurate interaction *** results suggest that Hi-Tag has great potential for advancing chromatin interaction studies,particularly in the context of limited cell availability.

Coupling Coordination Analysis of Cropland Intensification and Agroecosystem Services:Evidence from Loess Plateau in Shaanxi Province,China
