A polymetallic layer is usually developed at the bottom of the early Cambrian black shale in Guizhou *** mineral that makes up the polymetallic layer is related to the sedimentary *** analyze the differentiation mechanism between polymetallic deposits(Ni-Mo and V),the Zhijin Gezhongwu profile located in the outer shelf and the Sansui Haishan V deposit located in the lower slope are selected to study the in situ sulfur isotopes and trace elements of *** results show that δ^(34)S values of pyrite vary widely from−7.8‰to 28‰in the Gezhongwu profile,while the δ^(34)S values are relatively uniform(from 27.8‰to 38.4‰)in the Haishan *** isotopic S composition is consistent with the transition that occurs in the sedimentary phase from the shelf to the deep sea on the transgressive Yangtze platform;this indicates that the δ^(34)SO_(4)^(2−)values in seawater must be differently distributed in depositional *** sulfur in the Ni-Mo layer is produced after the mixing of seawater and hydrothermal fluid,while the V layer mainly originates from ***,the Ni-Mo and V deposits have been differentiated primarily on the basis of the combined effect of continental weathering and hydrothermal fluid.

Implementing a new energy-saving electrochemical synthesis system with high commercial value is a strategy of the sustainable development for upgrading the bulk chemicals preparation technology in the ***,we report a multiple redox-mediated linear paired electrolysis system,combining the hydrogen peroxide mediated cathode process with the I2 mediated anode process,and realize the conversion of furfural to furoic acid in both side of the dividedﬂow cell *** reasonably controlling the cathode potential,the undesired water splitting reaction and furfural reduction side reactions are *** the galvanostatic electrolysis,the two-mediated electrode processes have good compatibility,which reduce the energy consumption by about 22%while improving the electronic efﬁciency by about 125%.This system provides a green electrochemical synthesis route with commercial prospects.

In the current soft-landing system,the lander-leg and the buffer are two independent parts which may cause weight *** traditional mechanical buffers also have their own shortcomings such as small buffer stroke and being non-reusable.A Novel Buffer Lander-leg with Yoshimura core (NBLY) is proposed in this paper,inspired by the Buckling Restrained Brace(BRB).The design details of NBLY and parameter definitions of the core are *** finite element analysis modes have been employed to analyze the nonlinear mechanical behaviors of NBLY subjected to the cyclic *** with four different core styles of hexagon,octagon,dodecagon and hexadecagon are analyzed and *** restraining ratio and cumulative dissipation energy ratio have been obtained to evaluate the energy absorption *** results show that the origami pattern has significant influences on the deformation ductility,plastic energy absorbing and axial load transferring to the *** NBLY with octagon core has outstanding properties,especially the hysteretic energy dissipation and enhancement of compression *** interaction mechanism between the core and encasing member constrains the deformation extensions and contributes to the frictional energy dissipation of the *** paper provides a new conceptual design of buffer lander-leg for soft-landing *** can realize the reuse function as a buffer lander-leg with better loading-bearing and energy absorption behaviors.

Uncertainty impact of random geometric variations on the aerodynamic performance of low-pressure turbine blades is considerable,which is further amplified by the current ultra-high-lift design trend for weight ***,this uncertainty impact on ultra-highly loaded blades under extreme operational conditions near the margins with potential large-scale open separation is focused on in this *** is demonstrated that this impact is significant,unfavourable,and nonlinear,which is clearly severer under extreme *** addition to the overall attenuation and notable scattering of specific performance,the operational margins with open separation are also notably scattered with great risk of significant *** scattering and nonlinearity are dominated by the variations in leading-edge *** thinning of leading edge triggers local transition,enhancing downstream friction and reducing resistance to open separation,which is further exacerbated by operational ***,the opposite thickening yields less benefit,implying *** unfavourable impact highlights the need for robust aerodynamic design,where both a safer operational condition and a more robust blade are indispensable,i.e.,a compromise among performance,weight,and *** the necessary limitation of loading levels,a mid-loaded design is recommended to reduce adverse pressure gradients in both the leading edge and rear region of the suction side,which helps to decrease the susceptibility of the transition and open separation to random *** improvements can also be achieved by appropriately thickening the leading edge.

It remains a great challenge to understand the hydrates involved in phenomena in practical oil and gas systems. The adhesion forces between hydrate particles, between hydrate particles and pipe walls, and between hydrate particles and reservoir particles are essential factors that control the behaviors of clathrate hydrates in different applications. In this review, we summarize the typical micro-force measurement apparatus and methods utilized to study hydrate particle systems. In addition, the adhesion test results, the related understandings, and the applied numerical calculation models are systematically discussed.

Three-dimensional(3D)phononic topological insulators(TIs)featuring two-dimensional(2D)surface states and one-dimensional(1D)hinge states have opened up a new route for multi-dimensional robust wave transport,providing unprecedented methods for integrated acoustic sensors and energy harvesting ***,aiming at the elastic 3D phononic TI with gapless surface states and hinge states,the realization of elastic 3D phononic TIs with gapless surface states and hinge states is a significant challenge due to the complicated multi-mode polarization of elastic waves in 3D *** this study,we demonstrate an elastic 3D phononic TI with a Dirac hierarchy by elaborately operating the corresponding spatial symmetries of the chiral honeycomb ***,a 3D double Dirac cone of elastic wave can be achieved by doubling the lattice along the outof-plane direction to fold two iso-frequency Weyl *** topological phase transitions and 2D gapless two-fold Dirac surface states of elastic wave are realized by breaking the half-lattice spatial translation ***,based on the Brillouin zone folding along the in-plane direction,the 2D gapless two-fold surface Dirac cones are folded into four-fold surface Dirac ***,by inducing the relative radius of adjacent holes to break the in-plane spatial inversion symmetry,the fourfold surface Dirac cones are gapped and associated with a surface state inversion,in which the gapless 1D hinge Dirac dispersion is *** research offers a route for engineering the hierarchies of TIs in 3D elastic wave systems and provides new possibilities for designing 3D ultrasonic devices with unconventional functions.

One new isobenzofuranone derivative, 1,4-dimethoxy-3-（3R＊-hydroxy-3R＊-methyl-1-tetralone）-1 （3H）-isobenzofuran （1）, was isolated from the broth of marine Streptomyces sp. M268. The structure was elucidated by spectroscopy characteristics as well as comparison with the literature. Compound 1 exhibited cytotoxicities against human cancer cell, HL-60, A549, and BEL-7402.

To solve the problem of poor high-temperature service performance caused by low carbonization of MgO-C refractories,low-carbon MgO–C refractories with excellent thermal shock,oxidation and corrosion resistances were successfully designed by using SiC whiskers as reinforcing phases and introducing micro-Al_(2)O_(3) powders as *** results indicated that the addition of micro-Al_(2)O_(3) powders optimized the internal structure of the material,like the columnar β-Si_(3)N_(4) with a stepped distribution and the mosaic structure formed between granular and flaky Mg_(2)SiO_(4),which synergistically strengthened and toughened the material and gave the material excellent mechanical properties and thermal shock ***,the cold modulus of rupture and cold crushing strength after thermal shock were increased by 4.1 and 20.3 MPa,***,the addition of micro-Al_(2)O_(3) powders promoted the formation of fine particles of Mg_(2)SiO_(4),MgAl_(2)O_(4) and MgO,as well as a dense protective layer of Mg_(2)SiO_(4) in the material under high-temperature ***,spinel and high-temperature solid solution were formed in the corrosion *** oxidation and corrosion resistances were greatly improved by 41%and 15%,respectively.

The similarities and differences in inherent mechanism and characteristic frequency between the onedimensional(1D) poroelastic model and the layered White model were investigated. This investigation was conducted under the assumption that the rock was homogenous and isotropic at the mesoscopic scale. For the inherent mechanism, both models resulted from quasi-static flow in a slow P-wave diffusion mode, and the differences between them originated from saturated fluids and boundary conditions. On the other hand, for the characteristic frequencies of the models, the characteristic frequency of the 1D poroelastic model was first modified because the elastic constant and formula for calculating it were misused and then compared to that of the layered White model. Both of them moved towards higher frequencies with increasing permeability and decreasing viscosity and diffusion length. The differences between them were due to the diffusion length. The diffusion length for the 1D poroelastic model was determined by the sample length, whereas that for the layered White model was determined by the length of the representative elementary volume(REV). Subsequently, a numerical example was presented to demonstrate the similarities and differences between the models. Finally, published experimental data were interpreted using the 1D poroelastic model combined with the Cole-Cole *** prediction of the combined model was in good agreement with the experimental data, thereby validating the effectiveness of the 1D poroelastic model. furthermore, the modified characteristic frequency in our study was much closer to the experimental data than the previous prediction, validating the effectiveness of our modification of the characteristic frequency of the 1D poroelastic model. To explore the wide-frequency damping and vibration-attenuation performances in the application of aerospace components,the cylindrical sandwich shell structure with a gradient core of entangled wire mesh was proposed in this ***,the gradient cores of entangled wire mesh in the axial and radial directions were prepared by using an in-house Numerical Control weaving machine,and the metallurgical connection between skin sheets and the gradient core was performed using vacuum ***,to investigate the mechanical properties of cylindrical sandwich shells with axial or radial gradient cores,quasi-static and dynamic mechanical experiments were carried *** primary evaluations of mechanical properties include secant stiffness,natural frequency,Specific Energy Absorption(SEA),vibration acceleration level,and so *** results suggest that the vibration-attenuation performance of the sandwich shell is remarkable when the high-density core layer is at the end of the shell or abuts the inner *** axial gradient material has almost no influence on the vibration frequencies of the shell,whereas the vibration frequencies increase dramatically when the high-density core layer approaches the ***,compared to the conventional sandwich shells,the proposed functional grading cylindrical sandwich shell exhibits more potential in mass reduction,stiffness designing,and energy dissipation.
