LMR-CBT: learning modality-fused representations with CB-Transformer for multimodal emotion recognition from unaligned multimodal sequences

Learning modality-fused representations and processing unaligned multimodal sequences are meaningful and challenging in multimodal emotion *** approaches use directional pairwise attention or a message hub to fuse language,visual,and audio ***,these fusion methods are often quadratic in complexity with respect to the modal sequence length,bring redundant information and are not *** this paper,we propose an efficient neural network to learn modality-fused representations with CB-Transformer(LMR-CBT)for multimodal emotion recognition from unaligned multi-modal ***,we first perform feature extraction for the three modalities respectively to obtain the local structure of the ***,we design an innovative asymmetric transformer with cross-modal blocks(CB-Transformer)that enables complementary learning of different modalities,mainly divided into local temporal learning,cross-modal feature fusion and global self-attention *** addition,we splice the fused features with the original features to classify the emotions of the ***,we conduct word-aligned and unaligned experiments on three challenging datasets,IEMOCAP,CMU-MOSI,and *** experimental results show the superiority and efficiency of our proposed method in both *** with the mainstream methods,our approach reaches the state-of-the-art with a minimum number of parameters.

KCNA1 is the coding gene for Kv1.1 voltage-gated potassium-channelα*** variants of KCNA1 have been reported to manifest as paroxysmal kinesigenic dyskinesia(PKD),but the correlation between them remains unclear due to the phenotypic complexity of KCNA1 variants as well as the rarity of PKD *** the whole exome sequencing followed by Sanger sequencing,we screen for potential pathogenic KCNA1 variants in patients clinically diagnosed with paroxysmal movement disorders and identify three previously unreported missense variants of KCNA1 in three unrelated Chinese *** proband of one family(c.496G>A,p.A166T)manifests as episodic ataxia type 1,and the other two(c.877G>A,p.V293I and c.1112C>A,p.T371A)manifest as *** pathogenicity of these variants is confirmed by functional studies,suggesting that p.A166T and p.T371A cause a loss-of-function of the channel,while p.V293I leads to a gain-of-function with the property of voltage-dependent gating and activation kinetic *** reviewing the locations of PKD-manifested KCNA1 variants in Kv1.1 protein,we find that these variants tend to cluster around the pore domain,which is similar to ***,our study strengthens the correlation between KCNA1 variants and PKD and provides more information on genotype–phenotype correlations of KCNA1 channelopathy.

A fuzzy Trust Management Mechanism with Dynamic Behavior Monitoring for Wireless Sensor Networks

Traditional wireless sensor networks(WSNs)are typically deployed in remote and hostile environments for information *** wireless communication methods adopted by sensor nodes may make the network highly vulnerable to various *** encryption and authentication mechanisms cannot prevent attacks launched by internal malicious *** trust-based security mechanism is usually adopted to solve this problem in ***,the behavioral evidence used for trust estimation presents some uncertainties due to the open wireless medium and the inexpensive sensor ***,how to efficiently collect behavioral evidences are rarely *** address these issues,in this paper,we present a trust management mechanism based on fuzzy logic and a cloud ***,a type-II fuzzy logic system is used to preprocess the behavioral evidences and alleviate ***,the cloud model is introduced to estimate the trust values for sensor ***,a dynamic behavior monitoring protocol is proposed to provide a balance between energy conservation and safety *** results demonstrate that our trust management mechanism can effectively protect the network from internal malicious attacks while enhancing the energy efficiency of behavior monitoring.

The traditional Chinese acupuncture has been reported to alleviate pain and is widely accepted as a complement therapy for pain relief in the world.1In 1996, a novel acupuncture strategy, fu＇s subcutaneous needling （FSN）, was developed from the traditional Chinese acupuncture, but quite different from it.2 In FSN, needles are penetrated and swayed in the subcutaneous layer, but not the muscular layer. The choosing of its insertion points doesn＇t obey the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. To date, FSN has been widely used by clinicians in China for its good job in pain management though the systemic and rigorous studies are still lack.

Synthesis and characterization of HPMA copolymer-5-fu conjugates

N-（2-Hydroxypropyl） methacrylamide copolymer-5-fluorouracil （PHPMA-fu） conjugates were synthesized by a novel and simplified synthetic route, and characterized by UV, FTIR and HPLC analyses. The conjugated content of 5-fluorouracil （5-fu） was 3.41 ± 0.07 wt%. The stabilities of PHPMA-fu conjugates under different conditions were studied. The results showed that HPMA copolymer was a potential carrier for tumor-targeting delivery of 5-fu.

Entropy variances of pure coherent states in the diffusion channel

Using the operator correspondence of the real and fictious modes in the thermo entangled state representation, we solve the quantum master equation describing the diffusion channel and obtain the Kraus operator-sum representation of its analytical solution. we find that the pure coherent states evolve into the new mixed thermal superposed states in the diffusion channel. Also, we investigate the statistical properties of the initial coherent states and their entropy evolutions in the diffusion channel, and find that the entropy evolutions are only related to the decay time and without the amplitudes of the initial coherent states.

Effect of relative humidity on the desulfurization performance of calcium-based desulfurizer

Low desulfurization efficiency impedes the wide application of dry desulfurization technology,which is a low-cost and simple process,and one significant solution is the development and manufacture of high-performance *** this study,firstly,a steam jet mill was used to digest quicklime;then,we utilized numerical simulation to study the flow field distribution and analyze the driving factors of quicklime digestion;and lastly,the desulfurization performance of the desulfurizer was evaluated under different relative *** results show that the desulfurizer prepared via the steam jet mill had better apparent activity than traditional ***,the entire jet flow field of the steam jet mill is in a supersonic and highly turbulent flow state,with high crushing intensity and good particle acceleration *** contact with the nascent surface maximizes the formation of slaked *** experiments demonstrated that the operating time with 100%desulfurization efficiency and the“break-through”time for the desulfurizer prepared via the steam jet mill is longer than that of traditional desulfurizers,and has significant advantages,especially at low flue gas relative *** with traditional desulfurizers,the desulfurizer prepared via steam jet mill expands the range of acceptable flue gas temperature,and the failure temperature is 1.625 times that of traditional *** work breaks through the technical bottleneck of low dry desulfurization efficiency,which is an important step in pushing forward the application of dry desulfurization.

The Guanshan Fauna is a soft-bodied fauna dominated by arthropods （including trilobites, trilobitoides, Tuzoia, Isoxys, and bradorids） in association with priapulids, brachiopods, anomalocaridids, vetulicoliids, sponges, chancellorids, and echinoderms. This paper reports and describes a new arthropod from the yellowish green mudstone at the lower part of the Wulongqing Formation, Canglangpuan Stage, Lower Cambrian in Kunming, Yunnan, China. The stratigraphic and geographic distribution, classification, fossil preservation, life style of this new arthropod and comparisons with other fossil arthropods are also discussed in details. The discovery and research of the non-mineralized arthropod, Guangweicaris Luo, fu et Hu gen. nov. from the Guanshan Fauna adds new members to the taxonomic list and provides new information to the evolution of early arthropods. furthermore, this study would shed new light into the ＂Cambrian Explosion＂ and the evolution of early life.

Fake News Detection Based on Text-Modal Dominance and fusing Multiple Multi-Model Clues

In recent years,how to efficiently and accurately identify multi-model fake news has become more ***,multi-model data provides more evidence but not all are equally ***,social structure information has proven to be effective in fake news detection and how to combine it while reducing the noise information is ***,existing approaches fail to handle these *** paper proposes a multi-model fake news detection framework based on Tex-modal Dominance and fusing Multiple Multi-model Cues(TD-MMC),which utilizes three valuable multi-model clues:text-model importance,text-image complementary,and text-image ***-MMC is dominated by textural content and assisted by image information while using social network information to enhance text *** reduce the irrelevant social structure’s information interference,we use a unidirectional cross-modal attention mechanism to selectively learn the social structure’s features.A cross-modal attention mechanism is adopted to obtain text-image cross-modal features while retaining textual features to reduce the loss of important *** addition,TD-MMC employs a new multi-model loss to improve the model’s generalization *** experiments have been conducted on two public real-world English and Chinese datasets,and the results show that our proposed model outperforms the state-of-the-art methods on classification evaluation metrics.
