Effect of Bufei granule on stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: a randomized, double blinded, placebo-controlled, and multicenter clinical study

OBJECTIVE: To study the therapeutic effect Bufei granule, which is a traditional Chinese drug that can enhance the immune function of the lung, on patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).METHODS: This is a randomized, double blinded,placebo-controlled, and multicenter clinical *** medical centers in Tianjin, china, participated in the trial. A total of 140 patients with stable COPD were enrolled and randomized into two groups, with 70 patients in each. The treatment group was treated with Bufei granule, while the control group received Bufei placebo. The pharmacological treatment lasted for 12.weeks from the date of enrollment. Then, the indexes of patients were observed. Data were analyzed to study the effect of Bufei granule, with the frequency of acute exacerbation as the primary outcome. 目的对比弹性调配病区时临时扩展医疗区域与常态化区域环境微生物与物理监测参数,总结规律并寻找潜在医院感染防控风险点。方法于2.2.年4月10日—2.日在武汉大学中南医院病区内开展前瞻性环境微生物及物理参数监测,对比分析不同场景下的监测结果。结果通常情况下,临时医疗区域二氧化碳浓度、细颗粒物(particulate matter 2.5,PM_(2.5))浓度、温度、相对湿度均低于病室内(P0.05)。临时医疗区域启动时,病室内表面微生物检出量、二氧化碳浓度、温度高于临时医疗区域(P2.5)浓度低于临时医疗区域(P0.05)。与未启动时相比,临时医疗区域启动时病室内空气微生物检出量、二氧化碳浓度、温度、相对湿度降低(P2.5)浓度升高(P0.05);临时医疗区域内PM_(2.5)比未启动时高(P0.05)。此外,无论临时医疗区域是否启动,空气样本中微生物检出率最高的均为丝状真菌,环境物体表面样本和医务人员手样本中微生物检出率最高的均为表皮葡萄球菌。结论临时医疗区域所带来的环境微生物负荷、通风不佳等系列环境风险应引起关注。

The 85-cm telescope at Xinglong station is a prime focus system that operates well with high science outputs. The telescope has been upgraded since 2.14 with a new corrector, and new filters and camera, which are provided by Beijing Normal university. The filter set is the Johnson-Cousins UBV RI system. We report the test results of the new system including bias, dark current, linearity, gain and readout noise of the CCD camera. Then we derive accurate instrumental calibration coefficients in UBV RI bands with Landolt standard stars during photometric nights. Finally, we give the limiting magnitudes with various exposure times and signal-to-noise ratios for observers as references.

EVALUATION OF EFFICACY AND SAFETY OF DIACEREIN IN KNEE OSTEOARTHRITIS IN CHINESE PATIENTS

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of diacerein in patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). Methods A total of 2.3 patients satisfying the American College of Rheumatology criteria for knee OA were chosen for this 17-week, randomized, double-dummy, diclofenac sodium-controlled trial, with diacerein dosage of 100 mg/d and diclofenac sodium of 75mg/d. Efficacy and safety of both drugs were evaluated. Results Totally 106 patients in the diacerein group and 107 patients in the diclofenac group were considered qualified for the evaluation. After 12.weeks of treatment, the total effective rates of patients/physicians’ overall assessment in diacerein and diclofenac groups were 65.4%/61.6% and 61.2./61.2., respectively (P>0.05). The primary efficacy parameter [visual analog scale (VAS) assessment of pain on 2. metres walking] and the secondary efficacy parameters [tenderness on palpation, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC), and 36-item Short-Form (SF-36) Health Survey] significantly improved compared with baseline in both groups (P2. metres walking, tenderness on palpation, and WOMAC became aggravated after withdrawing the drug for 4 weeks (P1). The incidences of related adverse events were 35.7% in diacerein and 45.1% in diclofenac group, respectively. Mild-to-moderate gastrointestinal disorders were the most frequent adverse events. Conclusions Diacerein is as effective as diclofenac sodium in treating patients with knee OA. furthermore, it has better extended effect and a good safety profile. It is generally well tolerated and has no severe adverse effect.

目的了解深圳市成人B期心力衰竭的流行病学特征及相关影响因素,为心力衰竭防控政策的制定提供参考依据。方法数据来源于2.2.年深圳市心力衰竭流行病学调查,采用多阶段分层随机抽样的方法,对612.名≥18岁深圳市常住居民进行一般信息问卷调查、身体测量和超声心动图检查,获取心脏结构及功能相关信息。使用R 4.1.3软件进行基于复杂抽样设计的Rao-Scott χ^(2.检验、多因素二分类logistic回归和无序多分类logistic回归,并进行敏感性分析。结果加权后,深圳市成人B期心力衰竭患病率为14.45%(95%CI:12.88%~16.12.),心脏结构和功能均异常、仅结构异常和仅功能异常的患病率分别为1.33%(95%CI:0.92.~1.84%)、9.77%(95%CI:8.44%~11.2.%)和3.35%(95%CI:2.80%~3.96%)。多因素分析结果显示,45~64岁(OR=1.51)、65岁及以上(OR=2.85)、离退休或无业或失业(OR=1.63)、超重(OR=2.11)、肥胖(OR=4.09)、高血压(OR=1.65)和其他心血管疾病(OR=4.2.)与B期心力衰竭高风险相关,血脂异常(OR=0.77)与B期心力衰竭低风险相关,均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论深圳市B期心力衰竭普遍流行,应积极采取措施预防或延缓其进展为有症状性心力衰竭。

Dear Editor,Tumor-suppressor protein p53 is important for cell function and genome integrity.1 The decrease of p53 protein is a common feature of human malignant tumors,which leads to the deficiency of cell cycle detection point control and apoptosis *** enormous amount of research effort goes into small molecules that regulate p53,including wild-type repair of mutant p53 gene and interruption of the binding between p53.and an E3-ubiquitin ligase Mdm2.to prevent ubiquitination degradation of p53.and rescue the protein level of p53.2.However,it is not clear whether it is necessary to continue to inhibit the ubiquitin activity of proteasome in order to restore the p53 protein level.
