As security is essential in communications through electronic networks, development of structures providing high levels of security is needed. Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is a way of providing security measures by implementing the means of key pairs among users. In this paper, an overview of the public key infrastructure is discussed that includes various components and operation, some well known PKIs and their comparisons. Also we discuss current implementations, risk and challenges of PKIs.

Background: Toxoplasmosis is a worldwide disease that severely affects the fetuses and immunocompromised patients and results in many critical and life threatening conditions. The present study aimed to evaluate the awareness of toxoplasmosis and its preventive behaviors among female students in King Faisal University in Al-Ahssa. Subjects and methods: A cross sectional study was conducted in April 2014 among female students in KFU. The data were collected by a questionnaire from 88 participants. Results: Results showed that 65.4% were not aware of toxoplasmosis, and only 28.2% were aware of its complications or risk factors. This study showed that some people are at risk to get toxoplasmosis as they do not wash their hands with water and soap before eating (48.8%), do not wash the fruits and vegetables with water and soap (78.2%), drink tank water (51.3%) and cat owners don’t follow the proper measures for their cats. However, some people practice some of the preventive behaviors as they do not raise the cats (93.6%) and do not consume unpasteurized or unboiled milk (100%) or undercooked meat (92.3%). Conclusion: The current study proved the low awareness of toxoplasmosis which emphasized the need to educate the people in Al-Ahssa about the preventive methods, especially the pregnant women to prevent the severe complications of congenital infections.

Lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2),a member of the phospholipase A2 superfamily,is an enzyme that hydrolyses phospholipids,is found in blood circulation as a sign of inflammation,and takes a role in *** is an epidemiologic relation between increased Lp-PLA2 levels and coronary heart ***-PLA2 is an enzyme that is produced by macrophages and takes a role as an independent predictor of a coronary event.A genetic variant of Val279Phe on the Lp-PLA2 gene has been reported with various results in Japan,China,Korea,and Caucasian *** study aims to analyse the influence of the Val279Phe genetic variant on acute myocardial infarction(AMI)at Saiful Anwar Hospital,*** study was conducted on 151 patients(111 AMI patients and 40 non-AMI patients).The genetic variant of Val279Phe was identified through a genotyping *** were no significant differences in age,total cholesterol level,LDL-C(low-density lipoprotein cholesterol)level,and family history data between AMI and non-AMI ***,AMI patients had low HDL-C(high-density lipoprotein cholesterol),triglyceride levels,dyslipidaemia,and hypertension risk factors compared to non-AMI *** frequency of the GG genotype(279Val)was dominant in both AMI and non-AMI *** analysis suggested that the GG genotype has a 2.9 times greater risk of AMI compared to the GT/TT genotype(279Phe).This study concluded that the Val279Phe genetic variant undoubtedly influenced AMI risk,which is a warrant for further development of early detection and improving strategy to prevent AMI in patients.

Gender Differences in Quality of Attachment to God, Forgiveness, Altruism, and Mental Health in College and Seminary School Students

The aim of the current study was to investigate gender differences in quality of attachment to God, forgiveness, altruism and mental health in college and seminary school students as well. To fulfil the stated goal 993 individuals were selected by means of stratified sampling procedures and the following measures were distributed among them： Muslim-Spiritual Attachment Scale, Kin Altruism, Reciprocal Altruism Enright Forgiveness Inventory, and Symptom Checklist-90 Revised. Analysis of data using t test revealed significant differences between male and female students （/9 〈 0.01）. Moreover, data indicated that interpersonal sensitivity was higher in male students while somatization complains was higher among female students. Analysis of data showed that quality of secure attachment in female students were higher than male students （P 〈 0.01）. Moreover, female students were higher in altruism, especially in domain of compassion （P 〈 0.05）. In addition female students were higher in perceiving God as a Safe Haven and providing them with comfort and tranquility. Moreover, females students were higher in altruism （p 〈 0.05）, and forgiveness （p 〈 0.01）. The analysis of data revealed that female students were higher in the secure attachment to God, sympathy toward others and they scored higher in somatization complain while male students were higher in the interpersonal sensitivity. Theoretical implication and practical application of findings have been discussed in the original paper. Findings in this project were consistent with body of research findings. Theoretical implication and practical usage of the current study was described in the original paper. Data revealed that female student were higher in secure attachment to God, altruism and forgiveness. Showing emotional stability and higher spirituality.

Premature newborns are at high risk of developing infections, so they require continuous monitoring of vital parameters for long periods of time, until they approximately reach the pregnancy due date. ECG （electrocardiography） is one of the most widely used method for evaluating the structure-function relationship of the heart in health and in sickness. Due to incomplete skin development, premature newborns have some special requirements to the ECG monitoring electrodes. Contact ECG monitoring adversely affects the health and comfort of the newborns. The goal of this study is to determine the feasibility of using RF （radio frequency） in ECG signal remote sensing. This requires studying the interaction mechanisms between RF fields and biological tissues The ECG current propagated from the heart through the skin has an effect on the permittivity of the skin which is frequency dependent. Thus, the feasibility of detecting the change of the relative permittivity in the presence of ECG signal is also discussed. The RF biological tissues response is simulated using MATLAB software in preparation for experimental validation.

Chemical and Biological Assessments of the Essential Oils of Chrysophyllum albidum G, Don

The chemical compositions of the essential oils obtained from six tree parts of Chrysophyllum albidum （Sapotaceae） were extracted by hydrodistillation and analyzed by gas chromatography （GC） and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry （GC-MS）. A total of 65, 33, 45, 21, 25 and 18 compounds, representing 79.49%, 100%, 90.81%, 98.43%, 96.62% and 98.37% of the total oil, were identified in the fruit bark, root bark, stem bark, seed bark, leaf and seed, respectively. The dominant compounds in the essential oils in six tree parts were m-xylene （66.7%; seed）, p-xylene （21.4%; seed bark）, a-farnesene （38.1%; leaf）, hexadecanoic acid （14.7%; stem bark）, m-xylene （53.1%; root bark） and hexadecanoic acid （12.7%; fruit bark）. The essential oils were evaluated for their antibacterial, antioxidant and insecticidal activities using Alamar blue assay, DPPH radical scavenging activity and contact toxicity test, respectively. The oils displayed moderate antibacterial potentials to some tested organisms and low radical scavenging activity to DPPH. Rhyzopertha dominica was susceptible to C. albidum stem bark essential oil only.

Psychological and Mental Health among Isolated Hospitalized Suspected and Confirmed COVID-19 Patients, Qatif Central Hospital, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia: A Single-Center Descriptive Study

Introduction: During COVID-19 pandemic, isolation and quarantine as preventive measures have been implemented. Isolation is often a bad experience for isolated people and it could affect the psychological and mental health. Objectives: To study the impact of isolation on the psychological and mental health of isolated hospitalized suspected and confirmed COVID-19 patients. Material & Methods: A single-center cohort, descriptive survey involving isolated confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients in Qatif central hospital, Eastern province, Saudi Arabia. The study was conducted between March 22 and April 18, 2020. Information was collected through an online Arabic-language questionnaire. Our sample included both male and female. Anxiety and depression symptoms during hospitalization were evaluated with the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale. Results: A total of 52 questionnaires were returned completed. The majority of the respondents were females (65.4%). Most of the participants were less than 60 years of age (90.4%). Three patients were known to have previous mental illness. About two-thirds of the participants were isolated in shared rooms. The duration of isolation was less than 10 days in 72.3% of our sample. Borderline and abnormal scores for depression and anxiety were observed in about 38.4%, and 17.3% of patients, respectively. Three patients had both abnormal depression and anxiety scores. Conclusion: Isolation for contagious infections such as COVID-19 could cause severe psychological health problems, though this was not supported by our study due to the small sample size. Further studies are needed to address this important issue which results from isolation during infectious outbreaks.

The Relationship between ABO Blood Group Type and the COVID-19 Susceptibility in Qatif Central Hospital, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia: A Retrospective Cohort Study

Introduction: It has been found that the viral infection is linked to the ABO blood group. Limited studies investigated the relationship of the ABO blood group and susceptibility to COVID-19 infection. Objective: To investigate the association between the ABO blood group and the COVID-19 susceptibility. Material & Methods: The study is a retrospective cohort study. It included all hospitalized confirmed COVID-19 patients in Qatif central hospital, Eastern province, Saudi Arabia. We included both genders and people who are older than 14 years of age. The study was conducted in the period between 15th March, and 15th April, 2020. Results: Our sample consists of 72 patients;we found a percentage distribution of 23.62%, 33.33%, 9.72%, and 33.33% for blood groups A, B, AB and O, respectively. Our results showed significantly increased risk for AB blood groups (P Conclusion: Our findings suggest that among confirmed COVID-19 patients, patients with AB blood group have higher susceptibility while patients with O blood group have lower susceptibility to COVID-19 infection. Our study has limitations and further studies are needed.

AIM： To study the frequency, gender and age distribution as well as pathological characteristics of colorectal carcinoma （CRC） in Lagos and Sagamu in SW Nigeria. METHODS： This is a retrospective pathological review of histologically diagnosed CRC from 5 laboratories inLagos ＆ Sagamu. The clinical data, such as age, sex and clinical summary were extracted from demographic information. Cases of anal cancer were excluded from this study. RESULTS： There were 420 cases （237 males and 183 females） of CRC. It peaked in the 60-69 year age group （mean： 50.7; SD： 16.2）, M：F ratio 1.3：1 and 23% occurred below 40 years. The majority was well to moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma 321 （76.4%）, rnucinous carcinoma 45 （10.7%） and signet ring carcinoma 5 （1.2%）, and more common in patients under 40 years compared to well differentiated tumors. The recto-sigmoid colon was the most common site （58.6%）. About 51% and 34% of cases presented at TNM stages Ⅱand Ⅲ, respectively. CONCLUSION： CRC is the commonest malignant gastrointestinal （GIT） tumor most commonly located in the recto-sigmoid region. The age and sex prevalence and histopathological features concur with reports from other parts of the world.
