In this manuscript, we studied a class of delayed Fuzzy Genetic Regulatory Networks (FGRNs) with Stepanov-like weighted pseudo almost automorphic coefficients. New criteria for the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of its weighted pseudo almost automorphic solution are established. Our approach is based on Banach fixed point theorem and novel analysis techniques. Moreover, a numerical example is given to illustrate the validity of the obtained results.

OBJECTIVE To describe trends in antidiabetics drug prescription patterns in community-dwelling older adults with type 2 dia-betes mellitus(T2DM)and to evaluate the use of cardiovascular preventive medications among those diagnosed with atheroscler-otic cardiovascular disease(ASCVD).METHODS This cross-sectional,face-to-face interview study that comprised community-dwelling older adults(≥65 years)dia-gnosed with *** study questionnaire included the patients’demographics,clinical data,and current medication ***-ents with established ASCVD were further classified into low(i.e.,not receiving evidence-based therapy or only one)and high(i.e.,receiving at least two evidence-based therapies)composite score *** analysis followed by multivariable logistic re-gression analysis were performed to evaluate the demographic/clinical characteristics associated with the use of antidiabetic mo-notherapy/polytherapy and evidence-based *** A total of 500 older adults were *** mean age of included participants was 73±7 years,310 participants(62%)were males,and 385 participants(77.0%)had established *** monotherapy was reported in 251 partici-pants(50.2%),with metformin followed by sulfonylureas being the most commonly prescribed drugs as *** results of the multivariable analysis showed that age[odds ratio(OR)=0.89,95%CI:0.85-0.94,P<0.001],obesity(OR=4.18,95%CI:1.63-10.36,P=0.003),hypertension(OR=4.2,95%CI:1.22-7.66,P=0.04),and dyslipidemia(OR=4.1,95%CI:1.28-8.30,P=0.01),were significantly associated with the prescription of cardiovascular preventive *** Only one in twenty-one participant with T2DM and ASCVD collectively received three guideline-recommen-ded therapies,indicating a deficiency of utilization of cardiovascular preventive drugs.

Many closely located adjacent buildings have suffered from pounding during past earthquakes because they vibrated out of phase. Furthermore, buildings are usually constructed on soil; hence, there are interactions between the buildings and the underlying soil that should also be considered. This paper examines both the interaction between adjacent buildings due to pounding and the interaction between the buildings through the soil as they affect the buildings＇ seismic responses. The developed model consists of adjacent shear buildings resting on a discrete soil model and a linear visco- elastic contact force model that connects the buildings during pounding. The seismic responses of＇ adjacent buildings due to ground accelerations are obtained for two conditions： fixed-based （FB） and structure-soil-structure interaction （SSSI）. The results indicate that pounding worsens the buildings＇ condition because their seismic responses are amplified after pounding. Moreover, the underlying soil negatively impacts the buildings＇ seismic responses during pounding because the ratio of their seismic response under SSSI conditions with pounding to those without pounding is greater than that of the FB condition.

The N-body problem in classical physics, is the calculation of force ofgravitational attraction of heavenly bodies towards each other. Solving this problem for many heavenly bodies has always posed a challenge to physicists andmathematicians. Large number of bodies, huge masses, long distances and exponentially increasing number of equations of motion of the bodies have been themajor hurdles in solving this problem for large and complex galaxies. Adventof high performance computational machines have mitigated the problem to muchextent, but still for large number of bodies it consumes huge amount of resourcesand days for computation. Conventional algorithms have been able to reduce thecomputational complexity from O n2 ð Þ to O nlogn ð Þ by splitting the space into atree or mesh network, researchers are still looking for improvements. In thisresearch work we propose a novel solution to N-body problem inspired by metaheuristics algorithms. The proposed algorithm is simulated for various time periods of selected heavenly bodies and analyzed for speed and accuracy. Theresults are compared with that of conventional algorithms. The outcomes showabout 50% time saving with almost no loss in accuracy. The proposed approachbeing a metaheuristics optimization technique, attempts to find optimal solution tothe problem, searching the entire space in a unique and efficient manner in a verylimited amount of time.

A well-balanced second order finite volume central scheme for the magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)equations with gravitational source term is developed in this *** scheme is an unstaggered central scheme that evolves the numerical solution on a single grid and avoids solving Riemann problems at the cell interfaces using ghost staggered cells.A subtraction technique is used on the conservative variables with the support of a known steady state in order to manifest the well-balanced property of the *** divergence-free constraint of themagnetic field is satisfied after applying the constrained transport method(CTM)for unstaggered central schemes at the end of each time-step by correcting the components of the magnetic *** robustness of the proposed scheme is verified on a list of numerical test cases from the literature.

We consider optimal control of a bilinear parabolic equation. The determination of such control requires to minimize a given energy performance measure. The performance measure of the system is taken as a combination of its modified total energy and the penalty term describing the approach used in the control process. Using an appropriate transformation modal expansion, the optimal control of a distributed parameter system （DPS） is simplified into the optimal control of a bilinear time-varying lumped parameter system （LPS）. A computational efficient formulation to evaluate the optimal trajectory and control of the system is determined. It is based on the parametrization of the state and control variables by using finite wavelets. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the applicability and the efficiency of the proposed method and the results are quite satisfactory.
