Mechanical properties, microstructure and texture evolution were studied in two tensile-deformed high manganese TWIP steels at different temperatures. Special attention was paid to the effects of deformation tempera- ture and grain orientation on twinning behavior. The results showed that, at --70 ℃ and at room temperature, both twins and hexagonal martensite were found in a lower manganese steel of 26Mn. With deformation temperature ris- ing, twins became less and they disappeared at 500 ℃. Strong 〈111〉 texture appeared at 300 ℃, while it weakened at 500 ℃ due to the low strain rate and higher stacking fault energy. EBSD measurement revealed the dependence of deformation twinning on grain orientation at all test temperatures.

The MADS-box(DAM)gene PpDAM6,which is related to dormancy,plays a key role in bud endodormancy release,and the expression of PpDAM6 decreases during endodormancy ***,the interaction network that governs its regulation of the endodormancy release of flower buds in peach remains *** this study,we used yeast two-hybrid(Y2H)assays to identify a mitogen-activated protein kinase,PpMAPK6,that interacts with PpDAM6 in a peach dormancy-associated SSHcDNA ***6 is primarily located in the nucleus,and Y2H and bimolecular fluorescence complementation(BiFC)assays verified that PpMAPK6 interacts with PpDAM6 by binding to the MADS-box domain of *** real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)analysis showed that the expression of PpMAPK6 was opposite that of PpDAM6 in the endodormancy release of three cultivars with different chilling requirements(Prunus persica‘Chunjie’,Prunus persica ***‘Zhongyou 5’,Prunus persica‘Qingzhou peach’).In addition,abscisic acid(ABA)inhibited the expression of PpMAPK6 and promoted the expression of PpDAM6 in flower *** results indicated that PpMAPK6 might phosphorylate PpDAM6 to accelerate its degradation by interacting with *** expression of PpMAPK6 increased with decreasing ABA content during endodormancy release in peach flower buds,which in turn decreased the expression of PpDAM6 and promoted endodormancy release.

Elevation and Land Use Types Have Significant Impacts on Spatial Variability of Soil Organic Matter Content in Hani Terraced Field of Yuanyang County,China

Soil organic matter （SOM） content is one of the most important indicators of the sustainability of soil. To maintain sustainable soil utilization and management in fragile Hani terraced field, it is meaningful to investigate the effects of topography and land use type on SOM content. Descriptive statistics and geostatistics were used to analyze the data and the kriging method was applied to map the spatial patterns of SOM content. The results showed that the mean SOM content was 32.76 g/kg, with a variation coefficient of 40%. The SOM content was affected by elevation and land use type. As the increase of elevation, the SOM content in Hani terraced field also increased obviously. The SOM content in tea garden, which is almost at high elevation, was the highest in all six land use types, and the SOM content decreased in a following sequence： tea garden 〉 paddy field 〉 corn field 〉 banana garden 〉 cassava field 〉 sugarcane field. In addition, at the same elevation, the paddy field had the highest SOM content compared with other land use types. All these results demonstrate that paddy field is the most efficient and suitable land use type for SOM conservation at high, middle or low elevations in the fragile Hani terraced field. In order to protect soil quality and maintain the sustainable agricultural development, it is necessary to maintain or even to enlarge the area of paddy field in Yuanyang county, yunnan Province, China.

AIM To study the role and the possible mechanism of β-arrestin 2 in lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced liver injury in vivo and in *** Male β-arrestin 2^(+/+) and β-arrestin 2^(-/-)C57 BL/6 J mice were used for in vivo experiments, and the mouse macrophage cell line RAW264.7 was used for in vitro experiments. The animal model was established via intraperitoneal injection of LPS or physiological sodium chloride solution. Blood samples and liver tissues were collected to analyze liver injury and levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Cultured cell extracts were collected to analyze the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and expression of key molecules involved in the TLR4/NF-κB signaling *** Compared with wild-type mice, the β-arrestin 2 knockout mice displayed more severe LPS-induced liver injury and significantly higher levels of proinflammatory cytokines, including interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α, and IL-10. Compared with the control group, pro-inflammatory cytokines(including IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-10) produced by RAW264.7 cells in the β-arrestin 2 si RNA group were significantly increased at 6 h after treatment with LPS. Further, key molecules involved in the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway, including phosphoIκBα and phosho-p65, were *** β-arrestin 2 can protect liver tissue from LPS-induced injury via inhibition of TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathwaymediated inflammation.

Objective To study the effect of salicylate on the expression and function of NMDA receptors in spiral ganglion neurons （SGNs）. Methods The mRNA of NR1 subunit of NMDA receptor in modiolus tissues were detected by Real time fluorescence quantitative PCR （FQ-PCR）. NMDA receptor whole-cell currents were recorded using patch clamp in acute isolated SGNs. Results Compared with the control group, salicylate significantly increased the mRNA level of NR1 subunit in SGNs. NMDA of concentrations ranging from 0.1 mM to 10 mM evoked no current in SGNs. NMDA （0. 1mM and 0.5 mM） applied with salicylate （5 mM）, however, induced inward currents （212.6±15.2pA, n=5; 607.9±44.3pA, n=5） in a dose-dependent manner, which could be inhibited by APV. Salicylate alone did not produce any current in SGNs. Conclusion Salicylate increases the expression of NMDA receptors and facilitates the currents mediated by NMDA receptors in SGNs.
