Searching for novel solid electrolytes is of great importance and challenge for all-solid-state Mg *** this work,we develop an amorphous Mg borohydride ammoniate,Mg(BH_(4))_(2)·2NH_(3),as a solid Mg electrolyte that prepared by a NH_(3)redistribution between 3D framework-γ-Mg(BH_(4))_(2)and Mg(BH_(4))_(2)·6NH_(3).Amorphous Mg(BH_(4))_(2)·2NH_(3)exhibits a high Mg-ion conductivity of 5×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)at 75℃,which is attributed to the fast migration of abundant Mg vacancies according to the theoretical ***,amorphous Mg(BH_(4))_(2)·2NH_(3)shows an apparent electrochemical stability window of 0-1.4 V with the help of in-situ formed interphases,which can prevent further side reactions without hindering the Mg-ion *** on the above superiorities,amorphous Mg(BH_(4))_(2)·2NH_(3)enables the stable cycling of all-solid-state Mg cells,as the critical current density reaches 3.2 mA cm^(-2)for Mg symmetrical cells and the reversible specific capacity reaches 141 mAh g^(-1)with a coulombic efficiency of 91.7%(first cycle)for Mg||TiS_(2)cells.

The effects of the novel GH releasing hexapeptide, Hexarelin, on cultured human pituitary somatotrophinomas were investigated. Hexarelin (0.01 - 100 nmol / L) dose dependently stimulated GH secretion up to 4.6 fold. Maximal effects occurred with 10 nmol / L. These effects were very similar to those observed with GHRP 6. The effects of Hexarelin were reduced by phloretin, an inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC). The rate of phosphatidylinositol (PI) hydrolysis was markedly increased by Hexarelin in a dose dependent manner. These results demonstrated that Hexarelin could directly stimulate GH secretion by human pituitary somatotrophs in a PKC dependent manner, probably via activation of the PI transduction system.

An Experimental Study on the Disorders of Hepatic Hemodynamics and Changes of Plasma Histamine in Dogs with Fulminant Hepatic Failure

The model of fulminant hepatic failure induced by acetaminophen was established in dogs to observe the changes of hepatic hemodynamics and plasma histamine levels in portal vein (PV), hepatic vein (HV), abdominal aorta (AA) and inferior vena cava (ICV). The results showed that the portal vein resistance (PVR) was elevated and portal venous blood flow (PVF) was decreasedl hepatic artery resistance (HAR) was decreased and the hepatic artery blood flow (HAF),portal venous pressure (PVP), wedged hepatic venous pressure (WHVP) and inferior vena cava pressure (ICVP) had no changes. The histamine of the PV, HV,ICV and AA were all elevated after formation of fulminant hepatie failure. And the increasing wave Of the HV was the highest. The increased histamine in HV may be mediated by H, *** the contraction of hepatic venulae, result ing liver sinusoid congestion, increasing PVR and decreasing PVF which exacerbate the liver cell damage. Moreover, the more selvere liver damage, the more histamine was released, and a vicious circle may ensue. Our results also suggest the possibility of using,H1 receptor antagonist to treat the disturbance of liver hemodynamfics in severe acute liver damage. The increased histamine in systematic circulation as a vasodilator may lower blood pressure and accelerate heart *** increase of plasma histamine may play an important role in the changes of hepatic and systemic hemodynamics in fulminant hepatic failure.

In order to investigate the human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection, the mouse cytomegalovirus (MCMV) infected mice were experimentally studied. 6 to 8 week old female BALB/C mice with immunosuppression were selected to undergo the MCMV inoculations: intracranial inoculation and peritoneal inoculation. MCMV of the infected mice in various organs and tissues were detected by using  gal staining and in situ nucleic acid hybridization assay. The pathological cha nges were observed in HE staining paraffin embedded sections. It was found that all the MCMV infected mice showed the retardation of growth and development, an d feather looseness. Both intracranial inoculation of 10 4 PFU viruses or perit oneal inoculation of 10 6 PFU viruses resulted in the pathological changes, to some extent, of various organs and tissues in the mice. The pathological changes in liver were consistent with the amount of  gal staining positive cells, in dicating the liver lesions were mainly caused by viral proliferation. It was als o found that the viruses in the immunosuppressed mice subjected to intracranial inoculation could spread to whole body organs, while the viruses in the immunosu ppres sed mice subjected to intrapeitoneal inoculation couldn't spread to the brain, s uggesting blood brain barrier could prevent the virus from spreading to the bra in.

Evolutionary algorithms(EAs)have been used in high utility itemset mining(HUIM)to address the problem of discover-ing high utility itemsets(HUIs)in the exponential search *** have good running and mining performance,but they still require huge computational resource and may miss many *** to the good combination of EA and graphics processing unit(GPU),we propose a parallel genetic algorithm(GA)based on the platform of GPU for mining HUIM(PHUI-GA).The evolution steps with improvements are performed in central processing unit(CPU)and the CPU intensive steps are sent to GPU to eva-luate with multi-threaded *** show that the mining performance of PHUI-GA outperforms the existing *** mining 90%HUIs,the PHUI-GA is up to 188 times better than the existing EAs and up to 36 times better than the CPU parallel approach.

In order to analyze and process the large graphs with high cost efficiency,researchers have developed a number of out-of-core graph processing systems in recent years based on just one commodity *** the other hand,with the rapidly growing need of analyzing graphs in the real-world,graph processing systems have to efficiently handle massive concurrent graph processing(CGP)***,due to the inherent design for single graph processing job,existing out-of-core graph processing systems usually incur unnecessary data accesses and severe competition of I/O bandwidth when handling the CGP *** this paper,we propose GraphCP,a disk I/O optimized out-of-core graph processing system that efficiently supports the processing of CGP *** proposes a benefit-aware sharing execution model to share the I/O access and processing of graph data among the CGP jobs and adaptively schedule the graph data loading based on the states of vertices,which efficiently overcomes above challenges faced by existing out-of-core graph processing ***,GraphCP adopts a dependency-based future-vertex updating model so as to reduce disk I/Os in the future *** addition,GraphCP organizes the graph data with a Source-Sorted Sub-Block graph representation for better processing capacity and I/O access *** evaluation results show that GraphCP is 20.5×and 8.9×faster than two out-of-core graph processing systems GridGraph and GraphZ,and 3.5×and 1.7×faster than two state-of-art concurrent graph processing systems Seraph and GraphSO.

The visual system continuously adapts to the statistical properties of the environment. Existing evidence shows a close resemblance between deep convolutional neural networks(CNNs) and primate visual stream in neural selectivity to naturalistic textures above the primary visual processing stage. This study delves into the mechanisms of perceptual learning in CNNs,focusing on how they assimilate the high-order statistics of natural textures. Our results show that a CNN model achieves a similar performance improvement as humans, as manifested in the learning pattern across different types of high-order image statistics. While L2 was the first stage exhibiting texture selectivity, we found that stages beyond L2 were critically involved in learning. The significant contribution of L4 to learning was manifested both in the modulations of texture-selective responses and in the consequences of training with frozen connection weights. Our findings highlight learning-dependent plasticity in the mid-to-high-level areas of the visual hierarchy. This research introduces an AI-inspired approach for studying learning-induced cortical plasticity, utilizing DCNNs as an experimental framework to formulate testable predictions for empirical brain studies.

In this research,a method employing micro-extrusion was designed to produce the micro-scaled barrel-shaped parts with complex geometrical features to study the feasibility of the proposed microforming method and its grain size effect on the formability of the complicated internal features in terms of deformation behavior,material evolution,accuracy of dimensions and final components *** results reveal that the deformation behavior is highly affected by grain size and becomes unpredictable with increased grain *** addition,assembly parameters including feature dimension,tolerance and coaxiality also vary with grain size,and the variation of grain size needs to be accommodated by different assembly types,viz.,clearance fit or transition *** the microstructural evolution aspect,it was identified there were two dead zones and four shear bands,and the formation of these deformation zones was barely affected by the variation in grain *** bulges,cracks,and fracture induced voids were observed on the surface of the final components,tailoring the microstructure of the working material with finer grains could significantly avoid these *** study advances the understanding of forming microparts by extrusion processes and provides guidance for microforming of similar microparts.

Summary: Phorbol ester-induced release of growth hormone (GH) and prolactin (PRL) from hu- man somatotrophic tumors was examined in vitro. 12-O-tetradecanoyl-phorbol-13-acetate (TPA) strongly stimulated GH and PRL secretion and showed an additive effect on GH secretion if used in combination with GH releasing hormone (GHRH). In contrast, staurosporine exerted a variable inhibitory effect on GH release. There was no correlation between such effects and gsp mutations. The findings suggested that TPA doesn't act directly through cAMP signal transduction system.
