Let R be an integral domain of characteristic zero such that the corresponding group rings have block decompositions. We first prove that the submodule consisting of all the R-valued ξi-symmetric functions of several variables is a symmetry class, where ξi is any block character. Then we present a relationship among certain operators introduced for block character. Then we present a relationship among certain operators introduced for block characters. As a consequence, we obtain a decomposition of an arbitrary R-valued function of several variables. Finally, we describe the symmetry property of such summands and determine all the symmetry classes.

Linear mixed models are popularly used to fit continuous longitudinal data, and the random effects are commonly assumed to have normal distribution. However, this assumption needs to be tested so that further analysis can be proceeded well. In this paper, we consider the Baringhaus-Henze-Epps-Pulley （BHEP） tests, which are based on an empirical characteristic function. Differing from their case, we consider the normality checking for the random effects which are unobservable and the test should be based on their predictors. The test is consistent against global alternatives, and is sensitive to the local alternatives converging to the null at a certain rate arbitrarily close to 1/V~ where n is sample size. ^-hlrthermore, to overcome the problem that the limiting null distribution of the test is not tractable, we suggest a new method： use a conditional Monte Carlo test （CMCT） to approximate the null distribution, and then to simulate p-values. The test is compared with existing methods, the power is examined, and several examples are applied to illustrate the usefulness of our test in the analysis of longitudinal data.

Human endogenous retroviruses(HERVs)are remnants of retroviral infections in human germline cells from millions of years *** these,ERVW-1(also known as HERV-W-ENV,ERVWE1,or ENVW)encodes the envelope protein of the HERV-W family,which contributes to the pathophysiology of ***,neuropathological studies have revealed cell death and disruption of iron homeostasis in the brains of individuals with ***,our bioinformatics analysis showed that differentially expressed genes in the human prefrontal cortex RNA microarray dataset(GSE53987)were mainly related to ferroptosis and its associated *** data demonstrated significantly lower expression levels of ferroptosis-related genes,particularly Glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)and solute carrier family 3 member 2(SLC3A2),in schizophrenia patients compared to normal *** in-depth analyses revealed a significant negative correlation between ERVW-1 expression and the levels of GPX4/SLC3A2 in *** indicated that ERVW-1 increased iron levels,malondialdehyde(MDA),and transferrin receptor protein 1(TFR1)expression while decreasing glutathione(GSH)levels and triggering the loss of mitochondrial membrane potential,suggesting that ERVW-1 can induce *** research has shown that ERVW-1 reduced the expression of GPX4 and SLC3A2 by inhibiting their promoter ***,Ferrostatin-1(Fer-1),the ferroptosis inhibitor,reversed the iron accumulation and mitochondrial membrane potential loss,as well as restored the expressions of ferroptosis markers GSH,MDA,and TFR1 induced by *** conclusion,ERVW-1 could promote ferroptosis by downregulating the expression of GPX4 and SLC3A2,revealing a novel mechanism by which ERVW-1 contributes to neuronal cell death in schizophrenia.

The plasminogen activator inhibitor type-2 (PAI-2) dependent apoptosis protection is due to the 33 amino acids fragment located between helix C and D of PAI-2, this fragment may interact with some unknown intracellular proteins. In this study we used the fragment between helix C and D of PAI-2 as a bait to perform a yeast two-hybrid screen using a cDNA library constructed with HeLa cells during apoptosis, and retrieved a clone encoding 94 amino acid residues of C-terminus of pre-mRNA processing factor 8 (PRPF8). Co-immunoprecipitation experiments confirmed that PAI-2 could interact with PRPF8 in vivo. PAI-2 could bind PRPF8 C-terminal in both the inside and outside of nuclear. These results suggested that the interaction between these two proteins might not be involved in the apoptosis process.

To the Editor:Major depressive disorder(MDD)is a mood disorder characterized by complex patterns of emotional,cognitive,and behavioral symptomology and deficits in daily *** symptoms,including a reduction in libido and menstrual disturbances,have been considered to be a classic symptom of MDD for many *** evidence has reached a broad consensus that the incidence of genital symptoms is higher in patients with MDD than in the general population.A systematic review and meta-analysis found a bidirectional association between MDD and genital symptoms,with patients with MDD showing a 50–70%increased risk of developing genital symptoms,while individuals with genital symptoms had a 130–210%increased risk of developing MDD.^([1])As previously reported,50–70%of people with MDD experience sexual dysfunction.^([2])To date,few studies have focused on the comparison of clinical features between patients with MDD with and without genital symptoms,and the longitudinal prognosis.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-13tandem accelerator at the china Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3D magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3 T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1μm thick Si_(3)N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3D as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abundance of 1.125×10^(-10)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3×10^(-14)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×10^(-15)when the data were accumulated for 100 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

本文利用分子束外延技术在GaAs(211)B衬底上外延CdTe(211)薄膜,系统研究不同工艺条件对CdTe外延薄膜的表面形貌和光学性质的影响。研究表明,在一定的生长温度下,在Te气氛下生长CdTe薄膜,增加CdTe:Te的束流比,可显著降低CdTe表面金字塔缺陷的尺寸和密度,当CdTe和Te束流比为6.5时,金字塔缺陷几乎消失,材料的表面平整度显著改善,X射线衍射(XRD)也表明CdTe晶体质量显著提高。进一步的拉曼光谱表明,随着CdTe和Te束流比的增加,Te的A1峰减弱,CdTe LO和TO声子峰强度比增强。低温光致发光光谱(PL)研究也表明随着CdTe和Te束流比的增加,Cd空位的减少可以使与杂质能级相关的深能级区域的峰强降低,与此同时和晶体质量相关的自由激子峰半峰全宽减少,材料的光学质量明显改善。该研究为探索CdTe/GaAs外延材料的理想的工艺窗口以及相关机理,并为进一步以此为缓冲层外延高质量HgCdTe材料提供基础。

Various SARS-CoV-2-related coronaviruses have been increasingly identified in pangolins,showing a potential threat to *** we report the infectivity and pathogenicity of the SARS-CoV-2-related virus,PCoV-GX/P2V,which was isolated from a Malayan pangolin(Manis javanica).PCoV-GX/P2V could grow in human hepatoma,colorectal adenocarcinoma cells,and human primary nasal epithelial *** replicated more efficiently in cells expressing human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(hACE2)as SARS-CoV-2 *** intranasal inoculation to the hACE2-transgenic mice,PCoV-GX/P2V not only replicated in nasal turbinate and lungs,but also caused interstitial pneumonia,characterized by infiltration of mixed inflammatory cells and multifocal alveolar *** population immunity established by SARS-CoV-2 infection and vaccination may not protect people from PCoV-GX/P2V *** findings further verify the hACE2 utility of PCoV-GX/P2V by in vivo experiments using authentic viruses and highlight the importance for intensive surveillance to prevent possible cross-species transmission.

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of medical abortion of different regimens for termination of pregnancy at 8-16 weeks of gestation. Methods Healthy pregnant women requesting medical abortion at 8-16 weeks＇ gestation within 12 hospitals in Shanghai were randomly allocated to four treatment groups. Three intervention groups were given mifepristone 200 mg as a single dose then 24 h later misoprostol 600 #g at 3 h intervals vaginally, orally or vaginally followed by orally, respectively. Control group was given mifepristone 100 mg for 2 d, followed at 48 h by initiation of misoprostol 600 μg vaginally every 12 h. The primary outcome measures were the successful abortion rate, the induction-to-abortion interval, vaginal bleeding and side effects. Results Efficacy outcomes were analyzed for 1 112 women （92.67%）, excluding 88 protocol violations. Termination successful rates were similar among the four groups from 97.1% to 97.8%. The average dose of misoprostol and the incidence of side effects in control group were lower than those in three intervention groups. Stratified analysis showed that the interval of induction-to-abortion at gestation of 1116 weeks was decreased in control group. Conclusion The four regimens have the similar termination successful rates in spite of different administration intervals or routes. Control group was recommended for the advantages of reduced dose of misoprostol and fewer side effects.
