Microwave magnetic properties of soft magnetic thin films

We review our works that focus on the microwave magnetic properties of metallic, ferrite and granular thin films. Soft magnetic material with large permeability and low energy loss in the GHz range is a challenge for the inforcom technologies. GHz magnetic properties of the soft magnetic thin films with in-plane anisotropy were investigated. It is found that several hundreds of permeability at the GHz frequency was achieved for Col00_xZrx and Co90Nbl0 metallic thin films because of their high satu- ration magnetization, and an adjustable resonance frequency from 1.3 to 4.9 GHz was obtained. Compared with the metallic thin films, the weaker saturation magnetization of Ni-Zn ferrite thin films results in several tens of permeability at the GHz frequency, but the larger resistivity of the ferrite prepared in situ without any heating treatments has lower energy loss. In order to obtain materials with large permeability and low energy loss in the GHz range, the [CoFe-NiZn ferrite] composite granular thin films were investigated, where the advantage of higher saturation magnetization for the metallic alloy and the high resis- tivity as well as high saturation magnetization for the ferrite results in a good GHz magnetic performance.

Brain tumors are among the most challenging human tumors for which the mechanisms driving progression and heterogeneity remain poorly understood. We combined single-cell RNA-seq with multi-sector biopsies to sample and analyze single-cell expression profiles of gliomas from 13 Chinese patients. After classifying individual cells, we generated a spatial and temporal landscape of glioma that revealed the patterns of invasion between the different sub-regions of gliomas. We also used single-cell inferred copy number variations and pseudotime trajectories to inform on the crucial branches that dominate tumor *** dynamic cell components of the multi-region biopsy analysis allowed us to spatially deconvolute with unprecedented accuracy the transcriptomic features of the core and those of the periphery of glioma at single-cell level. Through this rich and geographically detailed dataset, we were also able to characterize and construct the chemokine and chemokine receptor interactions that exist among different tumor and non-tumor cells. This study provides the first spatial-level analysis of the cellular states that characterize human gliomas. It also presents an initial molecular map of the cross-talks between glioma cells and the surrounding microenvironment with single-cell resolution.

Sources appointment and health risks of PM_(2.5)-bound trace elements in a coastal city of southeastern China

To gain a comprehensive understanding of sources and health risks of trace elements in an area of China with high population densities and low PM_(2.5)concentrations,15 trace elements(Al,K,Ca,Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Sn,Ba,Pb)in PM_(2.5)were monitored from December 2020 to November 2021 in a representative city,*** concentrations of trace elements in Xiamen displayed an obvious seasonal variation and were dominated by K,Fe,Al,Ca and *** on Positive Matrix Factorization analysis,source appointment revealed that the major sources of trace elements in Xiamen were traffic,dust,biomass and firework combustion,industrial manufacture and shipping *** to health risk assessment combined with the source appointment results,it indicated that the average noncarcinogenic risk was below the threshold and cancer risk of four hazardous metals(Cr,Ni,As,Pb)exceeded the threshold(10^(-6)).Traffic-related source had almost half amount of contribution to the health risk induced by PM_(2.5)-bound trace *** the dust transport period or Spring Festival period,the health risks exceeded an acceptable threshold even an order of magnitude higher,suggesting that the serious health risks still existed in low PM_(2.5)environment at certain *** risk assessment reminded that the health risk reduction in PM_(2.5)at southeastern China should prioritize traffic-related hazardous trace elements and highlighted the importance of controlling vehicles emissions in the future.

The pollution of atmospheric ozone in China shows an obvious upward trend in the past ***,the studies on the atmospheric oxidation capacity and O_(3)formation in four seasons in the southeastern coastal region of China with the rapid urbanization remain ***,a four-season field observation was carried out in a coastal city of southeast China,using an observation-based model combining with the Master Chemical Mechanism,to explore the atmospheric oxidation capacity(AOC),radical chemistry,O_(3)formation pathways and *** results showed that the average net O_(3)production rate(14.55 ppbv/hr)in summer was the strongest,but the average O_(3)concentrations in autumn was *** AOC and ROx levels presented an obvious seasonal pattern with the maximum value in summer,while the OH reactivity in winter was the highest with an average value of 22.75 sec^(-1).The OH reactivity was dominated by oxygenated VOCs(OVOCs)(30.6%-42.8%),CO(23.2%-26.8%),NO_(2)(13.6%-22.0%),and alkenes(8.4%-12.5%)in different *** photolysis dominated OH primary source on daytime in winter,while in other seasons,HONO photolysis in the morning and ozone photolysis in the afternoon contributed *** analysis indicated that O_(3)production was controlled by VOCs in spring,autumn and winter,but a VOC-limited and NOx-limited regime in summer,and alkene and aromatic species were the major controlling factors to O_(3)***,the study characterized the atmospheric oxidation capacity and elucidated the controlling factors for O_(3)production in the coastal area with the rapid urbanization in China.

Gliomas are the most common primary malignancies in the adult central nervous system(CNS),and over the course of the last decades a wealth of data on their genomic characterization has been ***,attempts to stratify patients on the basis of this work has so far conspicuously failed to identify useful treatment targets,and no phase III clinical trials conducted to date have reached a favorable *** suggest that these translational failures are due to inadequacies in classifcation schemes,which fail to capture the range of biologically distinct entities that give rise to *** gliomas of diferent subtypes together,rather than as a set of biologically distinct but related tumors,has resulted in a classifcation scheme rich in unexplained heterogeneities,and has restricted target identifcation eforts to cell cycle and cell growth *** suggest that this failure of detailed genomic characterizations to identify useful treatment targets requires a re-assessment of our assumptions concerning glioma *** propose a re-interpretation of glioma subtypes in the light of knowledge of the developmental pathways of the various neural lineages that make up the adult *** a developmental subtype-specifc classifcation scheme based on dys-regulated cell fate decisions may not only improve classifcation and diagnosis but,more importantly,identify potentially druggable subtype-specifc developmental vulnerabilities.

The particulate matter(PM)pollution has been significantly improved by carrying out various valid emission control strategies since 2013 in *** the variation trend of nitrous acid(HONO)is worthy to investigate due to its vital role in the atmospheric oxidation *** this study,field observation in the winter is conducted to investigate the concentration of HONO in an urban area of *** the winter of 2019,the mean HONO concentration is 1.38 ppbV during the whole ***-enhanced NO_(2)heterogeneous reactions on the ground and aerosol surfaces were found as the possible daytime sources of *** to O_(3),photolysis of HONO dominates the primary OH sources during the winter *** understand the HONO pollution patterns by years variation,multi-year data is summarized and finds that primary pollutants including CO and NO decreased,but secondary pollutants i.e.,HONO(mostly generated via secondary process)*** study highlights the requirement to mitigate secondary pollution by control HONO concentration.

Detailed characterizations of genomic alterations have not identified subtype-specific vulnerabilities in adult gliomas. Mapping gliomas into developmental programs may uncover new vulnerabilities that are not strictly related to genomic alterations. After identifying conserved gene modules co-expressed with EGFR or PDGFRA (EM or PM), we recently proposed an EM/PM classification scheme for adult gliomas in a histological subtype- and grade-independent manner. By using cohorts of bulk samples, paired primary and recurrent samples, multi-region samples from the same glioma, single-cell RNA-seq samples, and clinical samples, we here demonstrate the temporal and spatial stability of the EM and PM subtypes. The EM and PM subtypes, which progress in a subtype-specific mode, are robustly maintained in paired longitudinal samples. Elevated activities of cell proliferation, genomic instability and microenvironment, rather than subtype switching, mark recurrent gliomas. Within individual gliomas, the EM/PM subtype was preserved across regions and single cells. Malignant cells in the EM and PM gliomas were correlated to neural stem cell and oligodendrocyte progenitor cell compartment, respectively. Thus, while genetic makeup may change during progression and/or within different tumor areas, adult gliomas evolve within a neurodevelopmental framework of the EM and PM molecular subtypes. The dysregulated developmental pathways embedded in these molecular subtypes may contain subtype-specific vulnerabilities.

随着高纯稀土金属及其氧化物在工业生产中的应用日益广泛，对其纯度要求逐渐提高，准确测定高纯稀土金属及其氧化物中钪的含量十分必要。采用10 mL硝酸并加入3～5滴过氧化氢溶解样品，以2%(V/V)硝酸为测定介质，以铯为内标，建立了电感耦合等离子体质谱法(ICP-MS)测定高纯稀土金属及其氧化物中钪含量的方法。从轻、中、重稀土中分别选择高纯氧化钇、高纯氧化镧、高纯氧化镨、高纯氧化铕、高纯氧化钬和高纯氧化镱配制其质量浓度依次为0.20、0.50、0.70、1.00 mg/mL的基体溶液，加入钪标准溶液使氧化钪质量浓度均为10.00 ng/mL,考察了这几种基体质量浓度在0.20～1.00 mg/mL范围内与钪信号强度之间的关系。结果表明，钪的信号强度与基体浓度之间存在良好的线性关系，线性相关系数均不小于0.97,说明在此时基体效应可忽略。考察了不同基体浓度下内标元素铯、铑与钪信号强度的变化情况，结果表明铯信号强度的降低程度与钪基本一致，实验选择10.00 ng/mL铯作为内标校正钪的含量。实验表明，钪质量浓度在1.00～100.00 ng/mL范围内，校准曲线的相关系数大于0.999 5,方法检出限为0.045μg/g,定量限为0.15μg/g。将实验方法应用于高纯镧、高纯氧化镧、高纯氧化铕和高纯氧化镱样品中钪(高纯稀土氧化物的结果以氧化钪计)的测定，测定结果的相对标准偏差(RSD,n=11)为6.2%～7.9%。采用实验方法对高纯镧、高纯钐、高纯镱以及高纯氧化钇、高纯氧化镧、高纯氧化镨、高纯氧化铕、高纯氧化钬和高纯氧化镱样品中钪进行分析，加标回收率为96%～104%,测定结果与标准加入法基本一致。
