To the Editor:Psoriatic arthritis(PsA)is a chronic musculoskeletal disease associated with psoriasis.A high proportion of patients with psoriasis have a missed diagnosis of PsA,which will lead to delay in treatment,worse physical function,and severe radiographic progression.Skin symptoms precede joint symptoms in about 80%of patients with PsA,which places dermatologists in a unique position to identify PsA early.Therefore,a lot of screening questionnaires have been developed for early screening.The Early Arthritis for Psoriatic Patients(EARP)and Psoriasis Epidemiology Screening Tool(PEST)questionnaires are two of the commonly used.[1,2]To date,only the verified Chinese language version of the EARP questionnaire exists.

Air filters with a low resistance,high filtration efficiency,and long lifetime are important to ensure good indoor air quality.In this study,the lattice Boltzmann method is applied on six types of fibrous filter media with lognormal-distribution models,which consider the influence of the solid fraction,number of fibers,and average fiber diameter.The influences of the filtration velocity and fiber layout on the resistance,efficiency,and quality factor are discussed.The resistance is found to be relatively low when the solid fraction inside the filter media is uniformly distributed.The filter media with a random lognormal-distribution model demonstrated the best filtration performance in terms of quality factor.However,when the solid fraction is uniform along the thickness of the filter media,the comprehensive filtration performance is the best when a small fiber is near the inlet and a large one is close to the outlet.This study provides a viable numerical method for performance optimization of air-filtration devices for the next-generation cleanroom industry.

Objectives:Fluoroquinolones(FQs)are widely used in aquaculture,and their residues have caused many problems threatening human health.Here,this study aims to develop a colloidal gold immunochromatographic strip based on gold-labeled microwells to screen the residues of FQs on site.Materials and methods:The Protein A Magarose Beads affinity chromatography method was adopted to purify the ascites against FQs.By using a strategy of heterologous coating antigen,different coating antigens are applied to detect FQs.The gold-labeled microwell immunochromatographic assay was used to improve the sensitivity of the test strip by the advanced reaction of antigen and antibody.Results:The antibodies were verified to be of high purity up to 99%,and the titer reached 1:1024000.The combination(enoxacin-OVA and the antibody)detected the 4 banned FQs(pefloxacin,PEF;norfloxacin,NOR;lomefloxacin,LOM;ofloxacin,OFL)with the 50%inhibiting concentration(IC50)values ranging from 1.3 to 2.1 ng/mL and cross-reactions ranging from 67.3%to 106.1%.The analysis of spiked crucian carp,silver carp,grass carp,and shrimp samples showed that the limit of detection for PEF,NOR,LOM,and OFL was 4μg/kg.A comparative study with liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)demonstrated that the assay provided an effective screening tool for the rapid detection of FQs residues.Conclusions:The results indicated that the test strip can realize full coverage recognition of the 4 banned FQs and has good accuracy,specifi-city,reproducibility,and stability;therefore,they are more suitable for rapid detection of FQs in aquatic products.

Danshen-Chuanxiongqin Injection(DCI)is a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of cerebral ischemic stroke in China.However,its underlying mechanisms remain completely understood.The current study was designed to explore the protective mechanisms of DCI against cerebral ischemic stroke through integrating whole-transcriptome sequencing coupled with network pharmacology analysis.First,using a mouse model of cerebral ischemic stroke by transient middle cerebral artery occlusion(tMCAO),we found that DCI(4.10 mL·kg−1)significantly alleviated cerebral ischemic infarction,neurological deficits,and the pathological injury of hippocampal and cortical neurons in mice.Next,the whole-transcriptome sequencing was performed on brain tissues.The cerebral ischemia disease(CID)network was constructed by integrating transcriptome sequencing data and cerebrovascular disease-related genes.The results showed CID network was imbalanced due to tMCAO,but a recovery regulation was observed after DCI treatment.Pathway analysis of the key genes with recovery efficiency showed that the neuroinflammation signaling pathway was highly enriched,while the TLR2/TLR4-MyD88-NF-κB pathway was predicted to be affected.Consistently,the in vivo validation experiments confirmed that DCI exhibited protective effects against cerebral ischemic stroke by inhibiting neuroinflammation via the TLR2/TLR4-MyD88-NF-κB pathway.More interestingly,DCI markedly suppressed the neutrophils infiltrated into the brain parenchyma via the choroid plexus route and showed anti-neuroinflammation effects.In conclusion,our results provide dependable evidence that inhibiting neuroinflammation via the TLR2/TLR4-MyD88-NF-κB pathway is the main mechanism of DCI against cerebral ischemic stroke in mice.

We theoretically investigate the Higgs oscillation in a one-dimensional Raman-type spin–orbit-coupled Fermi superfluid with the time-dependent Bogoliubov–de Gennes equations.By linearly ramping or abruptly changing the effective Zeeman field in both the Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer state and the topological superfluid state,we find the amplitude of the order parameter exhibits an oscillating behaviour over time with two different frequencies(i.e.,two Higgs oscillations)in contrast to the single one in a conventional Fermi superfluid.The observed period of oscillations has a great agreement with the one calculated using the previous prediction[Volkov and Kogan,J.Exp.Theor.Phys.38,1018(1974)],where the oscillating periods are now determined by the minimums of two quasi-particle spectrum in this system.We further verify the existence of two Higgs oscillations using a periodic ramp strategy with theoretically calculated driving frequency.Our predictions would be useful for further theoretical and experimental studies of these Higgs oscillations in spin–orbit-coupled systems.

In this paper, two cocrystals 1 and 2 with the same chemical composition [L1.L2 ](L1 = bis(4’-pyridyl)-TTF, L2 = 4,4’-diiodophenyl) were synthesized by slow diffusion with different solvent systems. Cocrystals 1 and 2 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray and the purity of these two cocrystals was confirmed by PXRD data. The photocurrent responses of these two cocrystals were also tested. Only cocrystal 1 could generate photocurrent signal when exposed to light. From the crystal structure analysis, the possible reason may come from the different biphenyl conformations in L2.

Migration behavior of solid fuel particles during granulation process and its influence on combustion property

Iron ore sintering process is the main CO_(2) emission source throughout the integrate steelworks,which primarily comes from the combustion of solid fuels.Improving the combustion efficiency and reducing the solid fuel consumption are important ways to reduce the CO_(2) emission in the sintering process.Around the efficient combustion of fuel,the migration behavior and combustion characteristics of solid fuel in the granulation process were investigated.The results indicated that during the granulation process,fuel particles with size less than 0.5 mm mainly migrated into the granules with grain size of 1-3,3-5 and 5-8 mm;fuel particles with size of 0.5^(-1)mm mainly migrated into granules of 1-3 mm;fuel particles with size of 1-3,3-5 and 5-8 mm mainly entered the granules with the same grain size.With the increase in fuel particles grain size from-0.5 to+8 mm,the combustion efficiency exhibited a firstly-increasing and then decreasing tendency,while the NO_(x) exhibited a decreasing tendency.Potential reason can be described that finer fuel particles(-1 mm)easily distributed in the outer layer of the granules,which combusted fiercely due to its larger specific surface area,leading to the development of incomplete combustion and the conversion of fuel nitrogen;the combustion efficiency of larger fuel particles was restricted by the inner diffusion of O_(2),which then contributed to the reduction of NO_(x) under the inadequate combustion atmosphere.

Background： lntervertebral disc degeneration （IDD） is a major cause of disc protrusion, likely to be associated with decrease of water content. This research aimed to evaluate IDD by diffusion-weighted imaging （DWI） with a 7.0 Tesla iT） magnetic resonance imaging （M RI） machine. Methods： A total of 24 healthy Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly selected and divided into four groups （A, B, C, and D）, each consisting of 3 male and 3 female rats （28, 42, 56, and 70 days old, respectively）. All the rats were imaged with a 7.0T MRI, producing T2WI, T1WI, and functional DWI sequences. Data were collected and apparent diffusion coefficient （ADC） charts were constructed. Nucleus pulposus and annulus fibrosus regions were identified, several regions of interest were chosen, and their ADC values were obtained. After imaging, rats were sacrificed and their intervertebral discs （ L I-L6） were dissected, yielding a total of 144 discs. Protein was extracted for the purpose of Western blotting. Comparison among multiple samples used one-way analysis of variance and least significant difference methods. Results： 7.0T MRI revealed evident decrease in signal intensity within intervertebral discs of Sprague-Dawley rats with age. lntervertebral disc A DC values significantly decreased from Group A （0.00154 ± 0.00008） to Group D （0.00107 ± 0.00007： P 〈 0.01 ）; nucleus pulposus ADC values significantly decreased from Group A （0.00164± 0.00005） to Group D （0.00140± 0.00007; P 〈 0.01 ） and annulus fibrosus ADC values significantly decreased from Group A （0.00129 ± 0.00014） to Group D （0.00082 ± 0.00012; P 〈 0.01）, Meanwhile, it also revealed evident decrease from high spinal level to low spinal level： nucleus pulposus ADC values in GroupA significantly decreased from L1/L2 （0.00163 ± 0.00006） to L6/S1 （0.00139 ± 0.00004, P 〈 0.01 ）. Colorectal cancer liver metastasis(CRLM)presents a clinical challenge,and optimizing treatment strategies is crucial for improving patient outcomes.Surgical resection,a key element in achieving prolonged survival,is often linked to a heightened risk of recurrence.Acknowledging the potential benefits of preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy in managing resectable liver metastases,this approach has gained attention for its role in tumor downsizing,assessing biological behavior,and reducing the risk of postoperative recurrence.However,the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in initially resectable CRLM sparks ongoing debates.The balance between tumor reduction and the risk of hepatic injury,coupled with concerns about delaying surgery,necessitates a nuanced approach.This article explores recent research insights and draws upon the practical experiences at our center to address critical issues regarding considerations for initially resectable cases.Examining the criteria for patient selection and the judicious choice of neoadjuvant regimens are pivotal areas of discussion.Striking the right balance between maximizing treatment efficacy and minimizing adverse effects is imperative.The dynamic landscape of precision medicine is also reflected in the evolving role of gene testing,such as RAS/BRAF and PIK3CA,in tailoring neoadjuvant regimens.Furthermore,the review emphasizes the need for a multidisciplinary approach to navigate the comp-lexities of CRLM.Integrating technical expertise and biological insights is crucial in refining neoadjuvant strategies.The management of progression following neoadjuvant chemotherapy requires a tailored approach,acknowledging the diverse biological behaviors that may emerge.In conclusion,this review aims to provide a comprehensive perspective on the considerations,challenges,and advancements in the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for initially resectable CRLM.By combining evidencebased insights with practical experiences,we aspire to contribute to the ongoing discourse on refining treatment

Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries exhibit outstanding energy density and material sustainability.Enormous effects have been devoted to the sulfur cathode to address redox kinetics and polysulfide intermediates shuttle.Recent attentions are gradually turning to the protection of the lithium metal anodes,since electrochemical performances of Li-S batteries are closely linked to the working efficiency of the anode side,especially in pouch cells that adopt stringent test protocols.This Perspective article summarizes critical issues encountered in the lithium metal anode,and outlines possible solutions to achieve efficient working lithium anode in Li-S batteries.The lithium metal anode in Li-S batteries shares the common failure mechanisms of volume fluctuation,nonuniform lithium flux,electrolyte corrosion and lithium pulverization occurring in lithium metal batteries with oxide cathodes,and also experiences unique polysulfide corrosion and massive lithium accumulation.These issues can be partially addressed by developing three-dimensional scaffold,exerting quasi-solid reaction,tailoring native solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)and designing artificial SEI.The practical evaluation of Li-S batteries highlights the importance of pouch cell platform,which is distinguished from coin-type cells in terms of lean electrolyte-to-sulfur ratio,thin lithium foil,as well as sizable total capacity and current that are loaded on pouch cells.This Perspective underlines the development of practically efficient working lithium metal anode in Li-S batteries.
