Zircon U-Pb geochronology,Hf isotopic composition and geological implications of the rhyodacite and rhyodacitic porphyry in the Xiangshan uranium ore field,Jiangxi Province,China

The Xiangshan uranium ore field is the largest volcanic rock hosted uranium deposit in China.The host rock is a volcanic intrusive complex,including rhyodacite,porphyroclastic lava and late stage sub-volcanic rocks.In this study,zircons from an early stage rhyodacite and a late stage rhyodacite porphyry were dated by SHRIMP and LA-ICP-MS U-Pb methods,and their Hf isotopic compositions were measured by LA-MC-ICP-MS.206Pb/238U ages of 135.1±1.7 and 134.8±1.1 Ma were obtained for the rhyodacite and rhyodacitic porphyry,respectively.These accurate ages indicate that the Xiangshan volcanic-intrusive complex formed in the Early Cretaceous rather than in the Late Jurassic,as concluded in some previous studies.By the Early Cretaceous,the tectonic setting of the area has evolved into a back-arc extensional setting,possibly related to subduction of the paleo-Pacific plate.The close ages of the(early) eruptive rhyodacite and the(late) hypabyssal rhyodacitic porphyry shows that the Xiangshan volcanism was intensive and concentrated in a short time.Zircons from the rhyodacite show negative εHf(t) values of-5.7 to-8.5,with Hf depleted mantle model ages between 1550 and 1720 Ma,whereas zircons from the rhyodacitic porphyry yield εHf(t) values of-6.9 to-10.1 and Hf model ages between 1621 and 1823 Ma.These zircon Hf model ages are similar to the whole rock Nd model ages(1486 to 1911 Ma).Combined with other geochemical characteristics,the Xiangshan rhyodacite and rhyodacitic porphyry may have been derived from partial melting of the Paleo-Mesoproterozoic metamorphic rocks from the Xiangshan basement,without any significant addition of mantle-derived magma.Contribution of basement of this age is also supported by finding a Paleoproterozoic xenocrystic zircon core in the rhyodacite sample.

Genesis and Uranium Sources of Leucogranite-hosted Uranium Deposits in the Gaudeanmus Area, Central Damara Belt, Namibia: Study of Element and Nd Isotope Geochemistry

This paper presents a systematic study of major and trace elements and Sm-Nd isotopes in leucogranites closely related to uranium mineralization in the Gaudeanmus area, Namibia. The results illustrate that the uraniferous leucogranites possess high SiO2 （68.8wt%-76.0wt%, average 73.1wt%） and K （4.05wt%-7.78wt%, average 5.94wt%） contents, and are sub-alkaline and metaluminous to weakly peraluminous, as reflected by A/CNK values of 0.96-1.07 with an average of 1.01. The leucogranites are rich in light rare earth elements （LREE/HREE = 2.53-7.71; （La/Yb）s = 2.14-10.40）, have moderate Eu depletion and high Rb/Sr ratios （2.03-5.50 with an average of 4.36）; meanwhile, they are enriched in Rb, K, Th, U and Pb, and depleted in Ba, Nb, Ta, and Sr. The tNd（t） values of uraninites range from -14.8 to -16.5, and the two-stage Nd model ages are 2.43-2.56 Ga. Detailed elemental and Sm-Nd isotopic geochemical characteristics suggest that the leucogranites were formed in a post- orogenic extensional environment. The U-rich pre-Damara basement was the main source of uranium during the primary mineralization event, which is disseminated in leucogranites, whereas the uranium mineralization in veins possibly resulted from remobilization of the primary uranium minerals.

为深入探究桂北摩天岭花岗岩体中新村铀矿床的精确成矿时代及矿床成因,利用微区原位分析技术(SEM、EPMA和LA-ICP-MS)对主成矿期(铀-硅化型)沥青铀矿开展了详细的矿相学观察、原位U-Pb定年和化学成分分析.沥青铀矿电子探针化学定年计算得到的年龄值变化范围极大,不能准确地反映矿床的大致形成时间.LA-ICP-MS U-Pb同位素分析结果表明,新村矿床沥青铀矿含有一定量的普通铅,采用Tera-Wasserburg图解法得到一个下交点年龄为57.61±0.34 Ma(MSWD=0.97),可以代表主成矿期的矿化年龄.新村矿床沥青铀矿具有较高的WO_(3)、CaO和极低的ThO含量,暗示成矿流体可能为富U、W的中低温成因流体;沥青铀矿稀土元素配分模式为轻稀土微富集型,整体上与赋矿花岗岩稀土配分型式相似,指示成矿物质可能来自花岗岩体本身.新获得的铀成矿年龄与桂北地区热液型铀矿的主成矿期(70~50 Ma)基本一致,表明新村矿床同华南地区绝大多数中新生代热液铀矿床一样,都是白垩纪-古近纪岩石圈伸展减薄背景之下的产物.

Outline of Uranium Resources Characteristics and Metallogenetic Regularity in China

Uranium,as one of twenty-six kinds of important minerals in China,is strategic resource and energy mineral,which has been thoroughly investigated in the project of National Potential Evaluation of Uranium Resource.During the implementation of this project,the authors summarized the metallogenic regularity of uranium resource in China systematically,through the researches of geological characteristics of uranium resource,uranium deposits type（genetic and prediction type）,temporal and spatial distribution,and metallogenic series.Based on the investigation of present situation and progress in uranium exploration,this paper proposes the uranium deposits in China should be divided into 4 classes,9 types,21 subtypes in genetic,and 50 types in prediction;suggests to divide China into 29 uranium metallogenic belts and 20 uranium prospective area,and constructs 20uranium-polymetallic metallogenic series,through summarizing temporal and spatial distribution characteristics and metallogenic regularity of uranium deposits in China.The above research is beneficial to the comprehensive understanding of regional uranium metallogenic regularity,and will direct the uranium exploration in the future.

Characteristics of Uranium Mineralization in Red Clastic Formations in the Southwestern Margin of the Ordos Basin

In the southwestern margin of the Ordos Basin,uranium mineralization is primarily hosted by predominantly oxidative red clastic formations in the Lower Cretaceous.The main target layers for uranium exploration are the Madongshan and Liwaxia formations of the Liupanshan Group,followed by the Jingchuan Formation of the Zhidan Group.The host rocks(medium-fine feldspar quartz sandstone),which are bleached to a light grayish white color,contain a minor organic matter component and pyrite.Uranium mineralization changes from surficial infiltration or phreatic oxidation in the upper part to interlayer oxidation in the lower part.Uranium ore bodies are mostly lenticular or tabular in shape,locally shaped like crescent rolls.Individual ore bodies are typically small and shallow.Uranium predominantly manifests as pitchblende and coffinite.Coffinite is usually short and columnar or granular in habit,whereas pitchblende occurs as an irregular colloidal covering on the surface or in fissures of ferric oxide,silicate,clay or carbonate.Secondary uranium minerals are torbernite,uranophane,and uranopilite.Minerals associated with uranium are mainly pyrite,chalcopyrite and,to a minor extent,arsenopyrite and fluorite.The associated elements are Mo,V,Se,Co,Ni,and Mn,the host sandstone being high in Cu and Ba.Overall,the red clastic formations in the southwestern margin of the Ordos Basin are characterized by’five multiples but one low’which means multiple target layers,multiple stages of mineralization,multiple ore body shapes,multiple kinds of uranium minerals,multiple associated elements,but low organic matter.This implies an overall complex uranium metallogenic environment and mineralization process.It is recommended that future uranium exploration should take into consideration regional metallogenic conditions and mineralization features,with target layers in the wide-smooth synclinal slope being focused on.Most uranium deposits are small to medium in size,and the main type of uranium mineralization can vary by target layer.

Petrogenesis and Tectonic Implications of the Jabal Hadb Ad Dayheen Granitic Complex, Central Arabian Shield

The Jabal Hadb Ad Dayheen granitic complex in central Saudi Arabia is an alkaline granitic ring complex associated with a collapsed caldera. It mainly consists of monzogranite in the center, biotite-hornblende porphyritic granite, and biotite-aegirine-riebeckite granite, intruded by some felsic and mafic dikes. The petrological and geochemical characteristics show that the granitic suites consist of metalminous-peralkaline A-type granites. The secondary ion mass spectrometry(SIMS) zircon U-Pb analysis yielded ^(206)Pb/^(238)U ages of 613.3 ± 8.1 – 603.8 ± 3.8, 602.4 ± 3.8, 596 ± 5.6 Ma for biotitehornblende porphyritic granite, microgranite, and biotite-aegirine-riebeckite granite, respectively. The trace element characteristics and positive ε_(Hf)(t) values(3.2–12.2) indicate that the granitic rocks of the Dayheen Ring Complex are mainly derived from the juvenile crust with the involvement of mantlederived materials. Combined with the regional tectonic evolution, the formation of the Dayheen Ring Complex mainly covered four periods:(1) subduction initiation and formation of arc terranes(870–620 Ma)—volcanic craters formed during this period provided the channel for alkaline complex intrusion;(2) collision between East and West Gondwana continents and formation of the north East African Orogen(640–613 Ma)—monzogranite stock at the center of the ring complex emplaced during this period;(3) post-collision extension and collapse(613–602 Ma)—red metaluminous biotite-hornblende porphyritic granite and microgranite sheets in the rim of the Dayheen Ring Complex emplaced during this period;(4) within-plate extension(602 – 545 Ma) —white peralkaline biotite-aegirine-riebeckite granite and plenty of felsic and mafic dikes in the rim mainly formed during this period. Identification of the flavor profiles of Chinese pancakes from various areas using smart instruments combined with E-noses and E-tongues

In order to reveal the flavor characteristics of Chinese pancakes,the aroma and taste compounds of seven traditional Chinese pancakes were identified.The results showed that electronic nose(E-nose)analysis with PCA could successfully distinguish the aroma profiles of seven Chinese pancakes;the principal components PC1 and PC2 represented 75.74%and 23.2%of the total variance(98.94%)respectively.Meanwhile,the discrimination index of taste profiles of seven Chinese pancakes based on electronic tongue(E-tongue)analysis with LDA was 99.32%;the discriminant factors DF1 and DF2 represented 94.99%and 4.33%of the total variance respectively.Furthermore,GC-MS results demonstrated that thirty-threeﬂavor compounds were identiﬁed in seven Chinese pancakes,including aldehydes,alcohols,alkanes,acids,and aromatics.Among the flavor components,aldehydes with ROAVs higher than 1 contributed most significantly to the overall aroma,such as(E,E)-2,4-nonadienal present the largest contribution in Qingzhou pancake,Jinan and Yishui pancake;hexanal present the largest contribution in Shenxian and Gaomi pancake;nonanal and benzeneacetaldehyde present the largest contribution in Linqu and Tai’an pancake,respectively.The umami and sweet taste amino acids were the most abundant in all the Chinese pancake samples,and Qingzhou pancake had relatively high amino acid content.The content of glucose was higher than maltose in Gaomi,Shenxian,and Tai’an pancakes,whereas the content of maltose was higher than glucose in Linqu,Qingzhou,Jinan,and Yishui pancakes.These results indicated that the aroma and taste proﬁles of Chinese pancakes differed significantly in terms of their flavor compound composition.The presented results could be beneficial for providing a comprehensive method for flavor profile identification of traditional whole-grain-based staples such as Chinese pancakes.

罗辛矿床为世界级白岗岩型铀矿床,存在SJ、SH、SK、Z17、Z19等多个矿(化)带,各矿(化)带矿物组合存在较大差异,但系统的矿物学研究程度不高。本次工作通过岩矿鉴定、扫描电镜观察、电子探针分析等方法,系统研究罗辛地区主要矿(化)带铀矿物共生组合及赋存状态。结果显示,白岗岩矿化按矿物组合可划分为3类:①晶质铀矿+锆石+磷灰石组合,主要分布在Z17、Z19、SJ矿床(带);②铀石、铀钍石+榍石+磷灰石组合,主要分布在SH矿床;③贝塔石组合,主要分布在SK、SH矿床。研究区铀成矿可划分为3个期次:岩浆期、热液期、表生淋积期。岩浆期为主成矿期,研究区晶质铀矿电子探针化学年龄为505±11 Ma,代表岩浆期成矿年龄。SH应进一步寻找铀石、铀钍石+榍石+磷灰石组合矿化白岗岩。

NANOIMPRINT LITHOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGY WITH AUTOMATIC ALIGNMENT

Nanoimprint lithography （NIL） is recognized as one of the most promising candidates for the next generation lithography （NGL） to obtain sub-100 nm patterns because of its simplicity, high-throughput and low-cost. While substantial effort has been expending on NIL for producing smaller and smaller feature sizes, considerably less effort has been devoted to the equally important issue—alignment between template and substrate. A homemade prototype nanoimprint lithography tool with a high precision automatic alignment system based on Moiré signals is presented. Coarse and fine pitch gratings are adopted to produce Moiré signals to control macro and micro actuators and enable the substrate to move towards the desired position automatically. Linear motors with 300 mm travel range and 1 μm step resolution are used as macro actuators, and piezoelectric translators with 50 μm travel range and 1 nm step resolution are used as micro actuators. In addition, the prototype provides one translation （z displacement） and two tilting motion（α and β ） to automatically bring uniform intact contact between the template and substrate surfaces by using a flexure stage. As a result, 10 μm coarse alignment accuracy and 20 nm fine alignment accuracy can be achieved. Finally, some results of nanostructures and micro devices such as nanoscale trenches and holes, gratings and microlens array fabricated using the prototype tool are presented, and hot embossing lithography, one typical NIL technology, are depicted by taking nanoscale gratings fabrication as an example.

为了加速粮食储藏的智能化和信息化,最大程度减少粮食在储存过程中的损失。针对目前储粮通风不均匀问题,设计了一种新型环流智能储粮仓及其控制系统。该系统主要有环流风道和底部纵向风道两部分组成,通过PLC控制传感器检测仓内温湿度、风机启停、各阀门开关等功能,依据粮情控制储粮仓环流通风和纵向通风,保证粮温均衡,降低粮食结露、抑制虫霉等问题,本系统的研发为储粮通风作业提供了新方法,为粮食储藏及保障粮食安全提供了理论依据。
