Solid-State Interfacial Reaction between Eutectic Au-Ge Solder and Cu/Ni(P)/Au Metalized Ceramic Substrate and Its Suppression

Eutectic Au-12 Ge solder was employed to bond the SiC power devices to a Si3N4/Cu/Ni（P）/Au multilayered *** high-temperature reliability of the bond was investigated in detail at 200,250,300 and 330 ℃,*** and Ni5Ge3intermetallic compounds（IMCs） were identified at the Au-12Ge/Ni（P） interface by micro X-ray diffraction（μXRD） and scanning electron microscopy（SEM）equipped with energy dispersive X-ray analysis（EDX）.The growth of the Ni-Ge IMCs was dominated by Ni5Ge3layer,which formed at the Ni5Ge3/NiGe interface by outward diffusion of Ni from the Ni（P） *** activation energy of the total Ni-Ge IMCs growth was 66 kJ/*** shear strength of the bond was tested at both 25 ℃ and the aging temperatures,*** shear strength decreased slightly after aging at 200 and 250 ℃.The shear strength tested at 250 ℃ was 46 MPa after aging at 250 ℃ for 3000 *** shear strength aged at 300 and 330 ℃ rapidly decreased with aging time due to the rapid growth of the *** slow down the interfacial reaction between the high temperature solder and the Ni（P）layer,an approximately 200 nm-thick Ta/TaN/Ta new diffusion barrier（DB） was deposited on the *** by transmission electron microscopy（TEM） equipped with EDX,reveals that the Ta/TaN/Ta DB was bonded well to the Ni（P） layer and the *** temperature storage test at 330 ℃ for1500 h reveals that the bond of the SiC devices maintained its high shear strength of approximately56 MPa without *** new DB effectively suppressed the interfacial reaction between the Au-12 Ge solder and the Ni（P） layer of the substrate.

Reducing force transmissibility in multiple degrees of freedom structures through anti-symmetric nonlinear viscous damping

In the present study, the Volterra series theory is adopted to theoretically investigate the force transmissibility of multiple degrees of freedom （MDOf） structures, in which an isolator with nonlinear anti-symmetric viscous damping is assembled. The results reveal that the anti-symmetric nonlinear viscous damping can significantly reduce the force trans- missibility over all resonance regions for MDOf structures with little effect on the transmissibility over non-resonant and isolation regions. The results indicate that the vibration isolators with an anti-symmetric damping characteristic have great potential to solve the dilemma occurring in the design of linear viscously damped vibration isolators where an increase of the damping level reduces the force transmissibility over resonant frequencies but increases the transmissibility over non-resonant frequency regions. This work is an extension of a previous study in which MDOf structures installed on the mount through an isolator with cubic nonlinear damping are considered. The theoretical analysis results are also verified by simulation studies.

Background:The effect of transjugular intra-hepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS)placement on renal function and the correlation of post-TIPS Cr with mortality remain *** study aimed to assess the effect of TIPS placement on renal function and to examine the relationship between post-TIPS Cr and mortality ***:A total of 593 patients who underwent de novo TIPS placement between 2004 and 2017 at a single institution were included in the *** pre-TIPS Cr level(T0;within 7 days before TIPS placement)and post-TIPS Cr levels,at 1–2 days(T1),5–12 days(T2),and 15–40 days(T3),were *** of Cr change after TIPS placement and the 1-year mortality rate were analysed using multivariable linear-regression and Cox proportional-hazards models,***:Overall,21.4%of patients(n=127)had elevated baseline Cr(≤1.5 mg/dL;mean,2.5161.49 mg/dL)and 78.6%(n=466)had normal baseline Cr(fference,-0.60 mg/dL),whereas patients with normal baseline Cr exhibited no change(difference,function in patients with baseline renal dysfunction and the post-TIPS Cr level was a strong predictor of 1-year mortality risk.

Tensile strength behavior of cement-stabilized dredged sediment reinforced by polypropylene fiber

This study evaluated the feasibility of using polypropylene fiber(Pf)as reinforcement in improving tensile strength behavior of cement-stabilized dredged sediment(CDS).The effects of cement content,water content,Pf content and length on the tensile strength and stress–strain behavioral evolutions were evaluated by conducting splitting tensile strength ***,the micro-mechanisms characterizing the tensile strength behavior inside Pf-reinforced CDS(CPfDS)were clarified via analyzing macro failure and microstructure *** results indicate that the highest tensile strengths of 7,28,60,and 90 d CPfDS were reached at Pf contents of 0.6%,1.0%,1.0%,and 1.0%,exhibiting values 5.96%,65.16%,34.10%,and 35.83%higher than those of CDS,***,3 mm,Pf of showed the best reinforcement *** CPfDS exhibited obvious tensile strain-hardening characteristic,and also had better ductility than *** mix factor(C_(C)^(a)/C_(w)^(b))and time parameter(q_(t0)(t))of CDS,and the reinforcement index(k_(t-Pf))of CPfDS were used to establish the tensile strength prediction models of CDS and CPfDS,considering multiple *** Pf“bridge effect”and associated cementation-reinforcement coupling actions inside CPfDS were mainly responsible for tensile strength behavior *** key findings contribute to the use of CPfDS as recycled engineering soils.

Study on hot deformation behavior of homogenized Mg-8.5Gd-4.5Y-0.8Zn-0.4Zr alloy using a combination of strain-compensated Arrhenius constitutive model and finite element simulation method

Isothermal hot compression experiments were conducted on homogenized Mg-8.5Gd-4.5Y-0.8Zn-0.4Zr alloy to investigate hot deformation behavior at the temperature range of 673-773 K and the strain rate range of 0.001-1 s^(-1)by using a Gleeble-1500D thermo mechanical *** characterization on samples deformed to true strain of 0.70 illustrates the occurrence of flow localization and/or microcrack at deformation conditions of 673 K/0.01 s^(-1),673 K/1 s^(-1)and 698 K/1 s^(-1),indicating that these three deformation conditions should be excluded during hot working of homogenized Mg-8.5Gd-4.5Y-0.8Zn-0.4Zr *** on the measured true stress-strain data,the strain-compensated Arrhenius constitutive model was constructed and then incorporated into UHARD subroutine of ABAqUS software to study hot deformation process of homogenized Mg-8.5Gd-4.5Y-0.8Zn-0.4Zr *** comparison with measured force-displacement curves,the predicted results can describe well the rheological behavior of homogenized Mg-8.5Gd-4.5Y-0.8Zn-0.4Zr alloy,verifying the validity of finite element simulation of hot compression process with this complicated constitutive *** results demonstrate that the distribution of values of material parameters(α,n,q and ln A)within deformed sample is *** issue is directly correlated to the uneven distribution of equivalent plastic strain due to the friction ***,at a given temperature the increase of strain rate would result in the decrease of equivalent plastic strain within the central region of deformed sample,which hinders the occurrence of dynamic recrystallization(DRX).

Shuang-huang-lian Injection(SHLI) is the first successfully developed drug from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) powder for injection,since its use for the treatment of acute respiratory tract infection,pneumonia,influenza,*** the same time,its allergic reactions have also emerged,which limits clinical ***,few scholars pay attention to the mechanism of allergic *** this present study,metabonomics technology was used to explore the changes in endogenous metabolites in urine of the rat model of SHLI induced allergic reaction;we and analyzed the metabolites,metabolic pathway,and the mechanism which were closely related to the allergic *** levels of serum histamine and tryptase were examined and changes in histomorphology were also *** on the UPLC-q-TOf/MS metabonomics,we carried out the pattern recognition analysis,selected potential biomarkers associated with allergic reactions,and explored the pathological mechanism for SHLI induced allergic reaction,which laid the foundation for the safety research of *** results showed that SHLI increased the levels of serum histamine and tryptase in rats with allergic reaction;we determined 15 biomarkers in rat allergic reaction model induced by SHLI and found multiple metabolic pathways involved,such as metabolism of linolenic acid,phenylalanine,amino acid,2-oxo acid,and purine and other metabolic pathways.

Ultra-high-q resonances in terahertz all-silicon metasurfaces based on bound states in the continuum

High-q metasurfaces have important applications in high-sensitivity sensing,low-threshold lasers,and nonlinear optics due to the strong local electromagnetic field *** ultra-high-q resonances of bound states in the continuum(BIC)metasurfaces have been rapidly developed in the optical regime,it is still a challenging task in the terahertz band for long years because of absorption loss of dielectric materials,design,and fabrication of nanostructures,and the need for high-signal-to-noise ratio and high-resolution spectral ***,a polarization-insensitive quasi-BIC resonance with a high-q factor of 1049 in a terahertz all-silicon metasurface is experimentally achieved,exceeding the current highest record by 3 times of *** by using this ultra-high-q metasurface,a terahertz intensity modulation with very low optical pump power is *** proposed all-silicon metasurface can pave the way for the research and development of high-q terahertz metasurfaces.
