Microstructure and hardness were investigated in pure Al samples with different purities （5n： 99.999%, 4n： 99.993%, and 2n： 99.7% in weight） subjected to dynamic plastic deformation at cryogenic temperatures. The saturated sizes of refined grains/subgrains in these samples induced by plastic deformation are about 240 nm without an obvious impurity effect, but the dislocation density in 2n Al is evidently higher than that in other samples. Boundary misorientations for 5n and 4n Al are below 10° with average values of 2–3°, while the average misorientation for 2n Al is obviously larger, being about 14°. Microhardness of LnT-DPD 2n Al is higher than that of 5n and 4n Al, owing to the enhanced dislocation density as their grain/subgrain sizes are almost identical.

Unmet needs exist in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD)risk *** ability to identify patients with MASLD with advanced fibrosis and at higher risk for adverse outcomes is still *** novel biomarkers could represent a meaningful improvement to current risk *** this aim,omics technologies have revolutionized the process of MASLD biomarker discovery over the past *** the research in this field is thriving,much of the publication has been haphazard,often using single-omics data and specimen sets of convenience,with many identified candidate biomarkers but lacking clinical validation and *** we incorporate these biomarkers to direct patients’management,it should be considered that the roadmap for translating a newly discovered omics-based signature to an actual,analytically valid test useful in MASLD clinical practice is rigorous and,therefore,not easily *** article presents an overview of this area’s current state,the conceivable opportunities and challenges of omics-based laboratory diagnostics,and a roadmap for improving MASLD biomarker research.

In the research of a more efficient, leSS costly, more environmentally responsible and less technically difficult method for generating electrical power from coal, the Carried-heat Gasilication Combined Cycle (CGCC) is introduced by Tsinghua University. The high efficiency cycle includes carried-heat partial gasilication, compressed air heating in a fiuidized bed immersed air heater followed by a combustor and the heat recovery of gas turbine exhaust used as the combustion air for the differential-velocity atmospheric circulating fluidized bed (DfBC). Superheat steam is raised in the DfBC boiler. The comparison of results identifies the causes of performance difference between eight cases. features of the cycle ensure a high coal conversion efficiency within current state of the art.

Hippocampal neuronal loss causes cognitive dysfunction in Alzheimer’s *** hippocampal neurogenesis is reduced in patients with Alzheimer’s *** stimulates adult hippocampal neurogenesis in rodents and improves memory and slows cognitive decline in patients with Alzheimer’s ***,the molecular pathways for exercise-induced adult hippocampal neurogenesis and improved cognition in Alzheimer’s disease are poorly ***,regulator of G protein signaling 6(RGS6)was identified as the mediator of voluntary running-induced adult hippocampal neurogenesis in ***,we generated novel RGS6fl/fl;APP_(SWE) mice and used retroviral approaches to examine the impact of RGS6 deletion from dentate gyrus neuronal progenitor cells on voluntary running-induced adult hippocampal neurogenesis and cognition in an amyloid-based Alzheimer’s disease mouse *** found that voluntary running in APP_(SWE) mice restored their hippocampal cognitive impairments to that of control *** cognitive rescue was abolished by RGS6 deletion in dentate gyrus neuronal progenitor cells,which also abolished running-mediated increases in adult hippocampal *** hippocampal neurogenesis was reduced in sedentary APP_(SWE) mice versus control mice,with basal adult hippocampal neurogenesis reduced by RGS6 deletion in dentate gyrus neural precursor ***6 was expressed in neurons within the dentate gyrus of patients with Alzheimer’s disease with significant loss of these RGS6-expressing ***,RGS6 mediated voluntary running-induced rescue of impaired cognition and adult hippocampal neurogenesis in APP_(SWE) mice,identifying RGS6 in dentate gyrus neural precursor cells as a possible therapeutic target in Alzheimer’s disease.

Conformance control or water shut-off is a technique used to improve oil *** conformance control,polymers block high permeability water areas and redistribute water drive toward unswept oil *** this study,co-polymers(denoted ATP-PGV/AM-co-AMPS)were synthesized using acrylamide(AM)and 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid(AMPS)as the monomers,polyethylene glycol(PEG)-200 and methylenebisacrylamide(MBA)as the crosslinkers,attapulgite(ATP)and bentonite(PGV)as the clay types,and ammonium persulfate(APS)as the initiator,in addition to paraffin oil and *** were synthesized using inverse emulsion polymerization with different concentrations of monomers,crosslinkers,and clays,and they were characterized using fourier-transform infrared(fTIR)spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX).fTIR spectra of the samples confirmed the existence of sulfonate and hydroxyl groups,which are important for polymer ***-EDX images indicated that the morphology and elemental composition were different before and after swelling,confirming the occurrence of ***,samples were placed in sodium chloride solution(20,000 ppm)for 7 days to evaluate swelling at both room temperature and 90°*** analysis(TGA)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)were used to determine the thermal characteristics of the ***,rheological measurements were used to assess the deformation and rheological behavior of the *** results showed that after 1 day,good swelling without loss of mechanical strength was achieved with the composite synthesized using 10%AM,15%AMPS,6%PGV,and 10%ATP.

The Mehler formula for the Hermite polynomials allows for an integral representation of the one-dimensional fractional fourier transform. In this paper, we introduce a multi-dimensional fractional fourier transform in the framework of Clifford analysis. By showing that it coincides with the classical tensorial approach we are able to prove Mehler＇s formula for the generalized Clifford-Hermite polynomials of Clifford analysis.

The mechanism of viscous heating of a newtonian fluid filled inside a cavity under the effect of an external applied force on the top lid is evaluated numerically in this *** investigation is carried out by assuming a two-dimensional laminar in-compressible fluid flow subject to neumann boundary conditions throughout the numerical iterations in a transient *** the walls of the square cavity are perfectly insulated and the top moving lid produces a constant finite heat flux even though the fluid flow attains the steady-state *** objective is to examine the effects of viscous heating in the fully insulated lid-driven cavity under no-slip and free-slip neumann boundary conditions coupled with variations in Reynolds and Prandtl *** partial differential equations of time-dependent vorticity-stream function and thermal energy are discretized and solved using a self-developed finite difference code in MATLAB®*** dependence of fluid thermodynamics is envisaged through contour and image plots.A commercial simulation software,Ansys fluent®utilizing a finite element code is employed to verify the finite difference results *** the effect of viscous heating is very minimal,neumann no-slip and free-slip boundary conditions are able to trap the heat inside the fully insulated cavity as the heat flux is constantly supplied at the top lid.A lower Reynolds number and a greater Prandtl number with free-slip effects reduce temperature distribution in the cavity with a faster velocity than in the no-slip condition as the free-slip behaves as a lubricant.

Bound states in the continuum （BICs） are perfectly localized resonances despite embedding in the continuum ***,an isolated BIC is very sensitive to the structure ***,we report merging acoustic BICs in a single open resonator,robust against the structure *** find that both symmetry-protected BIC and friedrich-Wintgen BIC are sustained in a single coupled waveguide-resonator *** varying the height and length of the resonator,these two BICs move toward each other and merge into a single one at a critical *** to an individual BIC,the merged BIC is robust against fabrication error because its Q-factor is proportional to ΔL-4,whereΔL embodies the structure *** essence of this extraordinary phenomenon is perfectly explained by the two-and three-level approximations of the effective nonHermitian ***,we present direct experimental demonstrations of the moving and merging of BICs in a coupled 3D waveguide-resonator,which are evidenced by the vanishing of the linewidth of fano resonance in the transmission *** results may find exciting applications in designing high-quality acoustic sources,sensors and filters.
