The magnetohydrodynamic Sutterby fluid flow instigated by a spinning stretchable disk is modeled in this *** Stefan blowing and heat and mass flux aspects are incorporated in the thermal *** conventional models for heat and mass flux,i.e.,fourier and fick models,are modified using the Cattaneo-Christov(CC)model for the more accurate modeling of the *** boundary layer equations that govern this problem are solved using the apt similarity *** subsequent system of equations is tackled by the Runge-Kutta-fehlberg(RKf)*** graphical visualizations of the results are discussed with the physical *** rates of mass and heat transmission are evaluated for the augmentation in the pertinent *** Stefan blowing leads to more species diffusion which in turn increases the concentration field of the *** external magnetism is observed to decrease the velocity ***,more thermal relaxation leads to a lower thermal field which is due to the increased time required to transfer the heat among fluid *** heat transport is enhanced by the stretching of the rotating disk.

The current investigation aims to explore the combined effects of heat and mass transfer on free convection of Sodium alginate-fe_(3)O_(4) based Brinkmann type nanofluid flow over a vertical rotating *** Tiwari and Das nanofluid model is employed to examine the effects of dimensionless numbers,including Grashof,Eckert,and Schmidt numbers and governing parameters like solid volume fraction of nanoparticles,Hall current,magnetic field,viscous dissipation,and the chemical reaction on the physical *** dimensionless nonlinear partial differential equations are solved using a finite difference method known as Runge-Kutta fehlberg(RKf-45)*** variation of dimensionless velocity,temperature,concentration,skin friction,heat,and mass transfer rate,as well as for entropy generation and Bejan number with governing parameters,are presented graphically and are provided in tabular *** results reveal that the Nusselt number increases with an increase in the solid volume fraction of ***,the rate of entropy generation and Bejan number depends upon the magnetic field and the Eckert number.

This model is dedicated to visualizing the nature of magnetite-water nanoliquid induced by a permeable plate having variable magnetic effect,non-linear radiation,heterogeneous and homogeneous chemically reactive *** system of momentum,thermal and concentration expressions is formulated and transformed from the partial to ordinary differential systems by using the adequate *** highly non-linear system is solved through RKf(Runge-Kutta-fehlberg)numerical *** parameters such as suction/injection,magnetic,and radiation effects as well as other relevant parameters are *** graphs show that the rise in radiation parameter numerically improves the thermal distribution,implying a faster heat transfer ***-linear radiation has greater effect on temperature than the linear *** the volume concentration effect reveals that the friction factor increase with the enhancement of nanoparticle *** is also observed that,plate velocity decreases the skin-friction but increases the wall heat transfer for both suction and blowing *** results indicate that the current research has a strong agreement with the relevant data in a limiting approach.

Bioaccumulation of metals in human blood in industrially contaminated area

Heavy metals were analyzed in different foods crops, milk, meat and blood samples collected from different age group subjects such as children （1–12 years）, adolescent （12–18 years）, adults （18–45 years） and old age （above 45 and 55 years for males and females, respectively） from polluted and relatively less polluted areas. The results revealed that the consumption of contaminated food crops, meat and milk have significantly increased the concentrations of selected metals in the human blood. Cu, Zn and Mn concentrations were significantly higher （p 0.05） in the blood samples collected from the polluted area as compared to control area. Old people had accumulated high concentrations of metals as compared to the younger ones within the same area. Males accumulated higher concentrations of metals as compared to females.

Background:The impact of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) on bone mineral density (BMD) has been well studied in adults with a relative paucity of data in children,especially concerning effect of treatment with pegylated interferon (PEG-IfN) plus ribavirin (RV).In the current work,we assessed prospectively changes in BMD in children with CHC before,during,and after ***:forty-six consecutive children with noncirrhotic genotype 4 CHC were subjected to dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry at baseline,24 weeks,48 weeks of therapy and 24 weeks after ***,bone mineral content (BMC),and Z score of lumbar spine (L2-L4) were *** pubertal stage,viral load,liver function tests,serum calcium,phosphorus,alkaline phosphatase,parathyroid hormone,and liver histopathology were assessed in all included ***:Thirty (65.2%) patients had normal BMD,10 (21.7%) were at risk for low BMD,and 6 (13.1%) had low BMD for chronological *** with low BMD were significantly older (P=0.001),with higher frequency of delayed puberty than other groups (P=0.002).Baseline densitometric parameters (BMD & BMC) were significantly positively correlated with patients' age,weight,height,body mass index and hemoglobin level;while they were insignificantly correlated with basal viral load,histopathology activity index and fibrosis *** parameters improved significantly on PEG-IfN plus RV treatment,this improvement was found to be sustainable 24 weeks after ***:Low BMD is detectable in a proportion of CHC *** therapy leads to a sustainable increase in BMD.

A new metabolite,named seimatoric acid（1）,representing a new oxobutanoic acid derivative has been isolated from Seimatosporium sp., in addition to four known compounds viz.,2-hydroxymethyl-4β,5α,6β-trihydroxycyclohex-2-enone（2）,（-）-phyllostine（3）,（＋）-epiepoxydon（4） and（＋）-epoxydon monoacetate（5）.Similarly one new benzoic acid derivative,named colletonoic acid（6） was isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of Colletotrichum *** structures of the new compounds were elucidated by detailed ^1 H NMR,^13C NMR,COSY,*** spectroscopic analysis,and *** acid（1）was also isolated from another taxonomical unidentified fungal strain 4295 in *** structures of the known compounds were elucidated by their spectral data comparison to literature *** studies showed that colletonoic acid（6） showed good antibacterial,antifungal,and antialgal activities.
