The key parameters for damage detection and localization are eigenfrequencies, related equivalent viscous damping factors and mode shapes. The classical approach is based on the evaluation of these structural parameters before and after a seismic event, but by using a modern approach based on time-frequency transformations it is possible to quantify these parameters throughout the ground shaking phase. In particular with the use of the S-Transform, it is possible to follow the temporal evolution of the structural dynamics parameters before, during and after an earthquake. In this paper, a methodology for damage localization on framed structures subjected to strong motion earthquakes is proposed based on monitoring the modal curvature variation in the natural frequency of a structure. Two examples of application are described to illustrate the technique: Computer simulation of the nonlinear response of a model, and several laboratory(shaking table) tests performed at the University of Basilicata(Italy). Damage detected using the proposed approach and damage revealed via visual inspections in the tests are compared.

The physics of electrodeless electric thrusters that use directed plasma to propel spacecraft without employing electrodes subject to plasma erosion is reviewed. Electrodeless plasma thrusters are potentially more durable than presently deployed thrusters that use electrodes such as gridded ion,Hall thrusters, arcjets and resistojets. Like other plasma thrusters, electrodeless thrusters have the advantage of reduced fuel mass compared to chemical thrusters that produce the same thrust. The status of electrodeless plasma thrusters that could be used in communications satellites and in spacecraft for interplanetary missions is examined. Electrodeless thrusters under development or planned for deployment include devices that use a rotating magnetic field; devices that use a rotating electric field; pulsed inductive devices that exploit the Lorentz force on an induced current loop in a plasma; devices that use radiofrequency fields to heat plasmas and have magnetic nozzles to accelerate the hot plasma and other devices that exploit the Lorentz force. Using metrics of specific impulse and thrust efficiency, we find that the most promising designs are those that use Lorentz forces directly to expel plasma and those that use magnetic nozzles to accelerate plasma.

Background: Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is the leading cardiovascular (CV) cause of mortality. C reactive protein (CRP) has linked with long-term risk of recurrent cardiovascular events or death. Albumin, in contrast to CRP known as a negative acute-phase protein. Thus a newly introduced marker assessed relation of CRP to albumin ratio (CAR), which may provide better results than the use of either marker alone. The aim of the study is to assess the association of C-reactive protein to albumin ratio (CAR) with in-hospital short-term major adverse cardiac events (mACEs) in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. Patients & methods: A multi-centers prospective cohort study was conducted at coronary intensive care units (CICU) in Baghdad during the period from march to October 2021 that included a total of 132 patients who were diagnosed as a case of ACS. They were assessed for major adverse cardiac events (mACEs) like cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, post-mI angina, and acute heart failure while inside the ward, in addition to need for early interventional therapeutic approach in relation to (CAR) immediately at time of admission to hospital. Results: High values of CAR, whether using hs-CRP or CRP, were identified as an independent predictor for in-hospital mACEs (P value Conclusion: The CAR was independently correlated with in-hospital short-term mACEs and can be used for risk stratification in patients with ACS.

Background: Value-Based Care is a program that was created by Professor michael E. PORTER and Elizabeth O. TEISBERG which has been modified for implementation over the last seventeen years. This program incorporates the patients, doctors, Life Sciences Companies, Insurance Companies, Holistic practice, traditional Chinese medicine, etc. with alternative traditional treatments and therapies for Real-World Evidence based and value-based treatment customized to patients’ needs and the patients benefit. methods: The program was proposed to achieve value for patients and an improved healthcare system which is especially needed to provide treatment for patients in Serious or Life-threatening conditions or diseases. The program will accurately measure the outcomes of patients and provide a wider choice of treatments that matter to patients, also to measure the cost that successful alternative treatments provide which may lower the cost to medicare and Insurance Companies. Conclusion: The proposed and now implemented program is to achieve value for patients. Background: The Tiêu equation has a ground roots approach to the process of Quantum Biology and goes deeper through the incorporation of Quantum mechanics. The process can be measured in plant, animal, and human usage through a variety of experimental or testing forms. Animal studies were conducted for which, in the first day of the study all the animals consistently gained dramatic weight, even as a toxic substance was introduced as described in the introduction of the paper to harm animal subjects which induced weight loss through toxicity. Tests can be made by incorporating blood report results. Human patients were also observed to show improvement to their health as administration of the substance was introduced to the biological mechanism and plants were initially exposed to the substance to observe results. This is consistent with the Tiêu equation which provides that wave function is created as the introduction of the substance to the biological mechanism which supports Quantum mechanics. The Tiêu equation demonstrates that Quantum mechanics moves a particle by temperature producing energy thru the blood-brain barrier for example. methods: The methods for the Tiêu equation incorporate animal studies to include the substance administered through laboratory standards using Good Laboratory Practices under Title 40 C.f.R. § 158. Human patients were treated with the substance by medical professionals who are experts in their field and have knowledge to the response of patients. Plant applications were acquired for observation and guidance of ongoing experiments of animals’ representative for the biologics mechanism. Results: The animal studies along with patient blood testing results have been an impressive line that has followed the Tiêu equation to consistently show improvement in the introduction of the innovation to biologic mechanisms. Ontogenes and Their Role in Cellular Construction

The genes referred to as ontogenes are responsible for conditional mutations. Based on the results of the research of conditional mutations in D. melanogaster, we attempt to figure out the biological role of ontogenes. We conclude that ontogenes in the process of individual development control the construction of the living organisms of cells (cellular construction), which comprises the induction of cell division, determination of division plane, and the location of daughter cells after the division is completed. The process of morphogenesis consists of cellular construction and protein synthesis. Protein synthesis is controlled by protein-coding (mendelian) genes. mendelian genes are switched on by ontogenes. In terms of the two-component genome composed of mendelian genes and ontogenes, we consider 1) the concept of biological character;2) interspecific incompatibility;3) ontogenesis;4) phylogenesis;and 5) mutagenesis. Ontogenes, which control cellular construction, possess the specific features unusual for mendelian genes, namely, 1) the activity in germ line tissue;2) remote interaction;and 3) activity in a compacted state (heterochromatization). These specific features of ontogenes suggest that unlike the mendelian genes with their chemical activity, ontogenes possess another type of activity (biophysical) involving induction of an electromagnetic field.

Image denoising is an important step in eliminating any noise impact in any image transmission process. Recently we presented two approaches for Bivariate based image denoising. They were Double Density Discrete Wavelet Transform (DD DWT) and Double Density Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform (DD CWT). In both techniques we decomposed noisy images with either DD DWT or DD CWT decompositions and then applied the Bivariate based denoising technique for noise removal. In this paper we propose an adaptive hybrid technique for Bivariate based image denoising that is based on the synthesis of DD-DWT bands or DD-CWT bands but with different weights, to deliver enhanced image features with less denoising impact especially around image edges, which is the most effected by noisy transmission channels. This proposed technique has been also enhanced by edge sharpening and Eigen analysis, as two separate stages. Simulation result comparisons have been performed between the proposed hybrid band adaptive DD-DWT and DD-CWT technique and the two primary techniques DD-DWT, DD- CWT, as well as other superior literature techniques such the original bivariate denoising technique with both original Complex Wavelet Transform and Double Density decompositions. This work in specific compares between Double Density DWT and Double Density CWT decompositions, proposes new filter design that suits each of them and proposes a hybrid technique between as will be shown.

Background: A plant based approach was undertaken to ascertain the efficacy of the Technology/Innovation of a new medical Technology based on similar activity to the circulatory system of plants. Basic Technology formulations were introduced into plant structures to evaluate the responses for cell division and plant growth which ultimately lead to the final product. This Technology/Innovation transforms and enhances common botanical/herb products such that they can be used to treat COVID-19 infection and Serious or Life-threatening conditions or diseases. They can restore the diseased cell’s abnormal metabolism to homeostasis and return it to normal function by slowing or reversing the cell’s malfunctioning metabolism, or in other words, slowing or reversing the disease process. methods: A systematic treatment for COVID-19 infection and Serious or Life-threatening illness in patients is based on theories of traditional Chinese medicine. The Technology/Innovation is developed as dietary supplement products for treatment of Serious or Life-threatening conditions or diseases. Results: The results consist of over one hundred Serious or Life-threatening patient medical records. The U.S. food and Drug Administration (fDA) reviewed/evaluated/accepted the Technology/Innovation patient medical record results, which included fifty-four COVID-19 patients with Prioritized Review Expedited No.: 2020-2867 CR2020-2596 information on September 16, 2020 and twenty-seven cancer patients Cancer Survival Rate Results in (Table 1) with fDA Establishment Identification No.: 3012327979 information on march 25, 2019 as fDA-Regulated medical products and meet the requirement under fDA Significant Scientific Agreement standards.

We present new guidelines for choosing hyperparameters for t-SNE and an evaluation comparing these guidelines to current *** guidelines include a proposed empirically optimum guideline derived from a t-SNE hyperparameter grid search over a large collection of data *** also introduce a new method to featurize data sets using graph-based metrics called scagnostics;we use these features to train a neural network that predicts optimal t-SNE hyperparameters for the respective data *** neural network has the potential to simplify the use of t-SNE by removing guesswork about which hyperparameters will produce the best *** evaluate and compare our neural network-derived and empirically optimum hyperparameters to several other t-SNE hyperparameter guidelines from the literature on 68 data *** hyperparameters predicted by our neural network yield embeddings with similar accuracy as the best current t-SNE *** our empirically optimum hyperparameters is simpler than following previously published guidelines but yields more accurate embeddings,in some cases by a statistically significant *** find that the useful ranges for t-SNE hyperparameters are narrower and include smaller values than previously reported in the ***,we also quantify the potential for future improvements in this area:using data from a grid search of t-SNE hyperparameters we find that an optimal selection method could improve embedding accuracy by up to two percentage points over the methods examined in this paper.

The aim is to study the set of subsets of grids of the Waterloo language from the point of view of abstract algebra and graph theory. The study was conducted using the library for working with transition graphs of nondeterministic finite automata NfALib implemented by one of the authors in C#, as well as statistical methods for analyzing algorithms. The results are regularities obtained when considering semilattices on a set of subsets of grids of the Waterloo language. It follows from the results obtained that the minimum covering automaton equivalent to the Waterloo automaton can be obtained by adding one additional to the minimum covering set of grids. .
