Coarse-grained subaqueous fans are vital oil and gas exploration targets in the Bohai Bay basin,*** insufficient understanding of their sedimentary processes,depositional patterns,and controlling factors restricts efficient exploration and ***-grained subaqueous fans in the Yong′an area,Dongying Depression,are investigated in this *** fans include nearshore subaqueous fans,and sublacustrine fans,and their sedimentary processes,depositional patterns and distribution characteristics are mainly controlled by tectonic activity and *** subaqueous fans developed near the boundary fault during the early–middle deposition stage due to strong tectonic activity and large topographic *** sublacustrine fans developed at the front of the nearshore subaqueous fans in the area where the topography changed from gentle to steep along the source *** the topography was gentle,sublacustrine fans did not *** the late weak tectonic activity stage,late sublacustrine fans developed with multiple stages *** fault activity and related earthquakes steepened the basin margin,and the boundary fault slopes were 25.9°–34°.During the early–middle deposition stage,hyperpycnal flows triggered by outburst floods *** the late deposition stage,with weak tectonic activity,seasonal floods triggered hyperpycnal flows,and hybrid event beds developed distally.

Acquired haemophilia in patients with malignant disease:A case report

BACKGROUND Acquired haemophilia is a rare coagulation disorder characterized by autoantibodies against coagulation factor VIII leading to severe and potentially life-threatening *** underlying disorder causing the development of an autoimmune phenomenon is not always known,but 10%-15%could be linked to *** with cancer who require surgical resection represent a treatment challenge not solely due to increased risk of bleeding but also due to adverse events of immunosuppressive *** SUMMARY We present the case of a 67-year-old man with non-metastatic adenocarcinoma of the distal bile duct who developed concomitant acquired haemophilia a month after having been diagnosed with malignant *** was established with recombinant activated factor VII,and immunosuppressive therapy was started *** extensive surgical procedure was performed in order to remove the cancer and,therefore,eliminate the inhibitory *** to a complicated postoperative course,relatively short period of treatment and likelihood of micrometastases,no improvement in the patient’s status was *** and treatment of acquired haemophilia as well as other coagulation disorders in patients with cancer are *** Prompt diagnosis of acquired haemophilia is required in order to start appropriate treatment and reduce *** patients with cancer,other causes of abnormal bleeding related to malignancy should be considered.

Ab initio study on the reaction or the ground state (a3f) and excited state (a1D) or La+with methane has been Performed. performed. channel on the singlet and triplet potential energysurface (PES) has been examined and the reaction mechanism are discussed. Comparisons betweensinglet and triplet PEss show that the ex￣ state (aiD) of La+ is more r￣ than its groundstate (a3f) due tO the SPin quantum number conservation with the more stable insertion intermediate for excited state (1D), which is in good agreement with the experiment.

Toxicity assessment and screening of tetrodotoxin in the oblong blowfish(Takifugu oblongus)from the Tamil Nadu Coast of Bay of Bengal,India

Objective:To assess the toxicity of the pufferfish Takifugu oblongus,from Chennai coast,Tamil Nadu,India and to detect the presence of Tetrodotoxin(TTX).Methods:The toxicity was evaluated by mouse bioassay using Swiss Albino mice which were expressed in mouse units(MU).Gross anatomical features were observed which is followed by histopathology of the dead mice tissues to establish the *** analysis for the presence of tetrodotoxin was also performed through GC-MS and ***:The toxicity of ovary was the maximum with 163 MU/g and lowest toxicity was observed in skin with 75.88 MU/*** analyses of the dead mice showed various cellular degenerations and *** amount of Tetrodotoxin detected through GC-MS and HPLC was more reliable and sensitive than the customary mouse bioassay as instrumental analyses were able to detect even nanograms of the ***:The present study evidently proved that Takifugu oblongus is highly toxic and consumption of the same can pose serious threat for health and possible lethality to humans.

In the theoretical study of numerical solution of stiff ODEs, it usually assumes that the righthand function f(y) satisfy one-side Lipschitz condition f(y) - f(z),y - z >less than or equal to v(1)parallel to y - z parallel to(2),f : Omega subset of or equal to C-m --> C-m, or another related one-side Lipschitz condition [f(Y) - f(Z), Y - Z](D) less than or equal to v'parallel to Y - Z parallel to(D)(2), f : Omega(s) subset of or equal to C-ms --> C-ms, this paper demonstrates that the difference of the two sets of all functions satisfying the above two conditions respectively is at most that v' - v' only is constant independent of stiffness of function f.
