Objective:To assess efficacy of Chinese medicine(CM)on insomnia considering characteristics of treatment based on syndrome ***:A total of 116 participants aged 18 to 65 years with moderate and severe primary insomnia were randomized to the placebo(n=20)or the CM group(n=96)for a 4-week treatment and a 4-week *** CM clinicians independently prescribed treatments for each patient based on syndromes *** primary outcome was change in total sleep time(TST)from *** endpoints included sleep onset latency(SOL),wake time after sleep onset(WASO),sleep efficiency,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and CM ***:The CM group had an average 0.6 h more(95%confidence interval(CI):0.3–0.9,Ph TST increment than that of the placebo *** was changed–3.3(–3.8 to–2.7)in the CM group,a–2.0(–3.2 to–0.8,Pfference from the placebo *** CM symptom score in the CM group decreased–2.0(–3.3 to–0.7,P=0.003)more than the placebo *** and WASO changes were not significantly different between *** analysis of prescriptions by these clinicians revealed blood deficiency and Liver stagnation as the most common *** for these clinicians displayed relative stability,while the herbs *** adverse events were mild and were not related to study ***:CM treatment based on syndrome differentiation can increase TST and improve sleep quality of primary *** is effective and safe for primary *** future studies,the long-term efficacy validation and the exploratory of eutherapeutic clinicians'fixed herb formulas should be addressed.(Registration ***01613183).

Crystalline white organic light-emitting diodes(C-WOLEDs)are promising candidates for lighting and display *** is urgently necessary,however,to develop energy-saving and high-efficiency C-WOLEDs that have stable and powerful emission to meet commercial ***,we report a crystalline host matrix(ChM)with embedded nanoaggregates(NA)structure for developing high-performance C-WOLEDs by employing a thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADf)material and orange phosphorescent dopants(Phos.-D).The ChM-TADfNA-D WOLED exhibit a remarkable EQE of 12.8%,which is the highest performance WOLEDs based on crystalline *** device has a quick formation of excitons and a well-designed energy transfer process,and possesses a fast ramping of luminance and current *** to recently reported high-performance WOLEDs based on amorphous material route,the C-WOLED achieves a low series-resistance Joule-heat loss ratio and an enhanced photon output,demonstrating its significant potential in developing the next-generation WOLEDs.

In this work,a new ZnO/CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C metal oxides composite is prepared by cost-effective hydrothermal method coupled with annealing process under N_(2) ***,the oxidation-defect annealing environment is conducive to both morphology and component of the composite,which flower-like ZnO/CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C is *** from good chemical stability of ZnO,high energy capacity of CoNiO_(2) and CoO and good conductivity of C,the as-prepared sample shows promising electrochemical behavior,including the specific capacity of 1435 C·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1),capacity retention of 87.3%at 20 A·g^(-1),and cycling stability of 90.5%for 3000 cycles at 5 A·g^(-1),***,the prepared ZnO/CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C/Nf//AC aqueous hybrid supercapacitors device delivers the best specific energy of 55.9 W·h·kg^(-1) at 850 W·kg^(-1).The results reflect that the as-prepared ZnO/CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C microflowers are considered as high performance electrode materials for supercapacitor,and the strategy mentioned in this paper is benefit to prepare mixed metal oxides composite for energy conversion and storage.

Aqueous rechargeable Zn-metal batteries(ARZBs)are considered one of the most promising candidates for grid-scale energy ***,their widespread commercial application is largely plagued by three major challenges:The uncontrollable Zn dendrites,notorious parasitic side reactions,and sluggish Zn^(2+) ion *** address these issues,we design a sustainable dual crosslinked cellulose hydrogel electrolyte,which has excellent mechanical strength to inhibit dendrite formation,high Zn^(2+) ions binding capacity to suppress side reaction,and abundant porous structure to facilitate Zn^(2+) ions ***,the Zn||Zn cell with the hydrogel electrolyte can cycle stably for more than 400 h under a high current density of 10 mA cm^(−2).Moreover,the hydrogel electrolyte also enables the Zn||polyaniline cell to achieve high-rate and long-term cycling performance(>2000 cycles at 2000 mA g^(−1)).Remarkably,the hydrogel electrolyte is easily accessible and biodegradable,making the ARZBs attractive in terms of scalability and sustainability.

The existence of high-density bedding planes is a typical characteristic of shale oil *** the behavior of hydraulic fracturing in high-density laminated rocks is significant for promoting shale oil *** this study,a hydraulic fracturing model considering tensile failure and frictional slip of the bedding planes is established within the framework of the unified pipe-interface element method(UP-IEM).The model developed for simulating the interaction between the hydraulic fracture and the bedding plane is validated by comparison with experimental *** hydraulic fracturing patterns in sealed and unsealed bedding planes are ***,the effects of differential stress,bedding plane permeability,spacing,and the friction coefficient of the bedding plane are *** results showed that a single main fracture crossing the bedding planes is more likely to form in sealed bedding planes under high differential *** decrease in bedding plane permeability and the increase in the friction coefficient also promote the fracture propagating perpendicular to the bedding *** with high-density bedding planes has a poorer fracturing effect than that with low-density bedding planes,as the hydraulic fracture is prone to initiate and propagate along the bedding ***,higher injection pressure is needed to maintain fracture propagation along the *** increase in bedding density will lead to a smaller fracturing *** fluid seepage into the bedding planes slows shale *** is recommended that increasing the injection flow rate,selecting alternative fracturing fluids,and employing multi-well/multi-cluster fracturing may be efficient methods to improve energy production in shale oil reservoirs.

The hubble tension persists as a challenge in *** early dark energy(EDE)models,initially considered the most promising for alleviating the hubble tension,fall short of addressing the issue without exacerbating other tensions,such as the S_(8)*** that a negative dark matter(DM)equation of state(EoS)parameter is conducive to reduce the value of the σ_(8)parameter,we extend the axion-like EDE model in this paper by replacing the cold dark matter(CDM)with DM characterized by a constant EoS w_(dm)(referred to as WDM hereafter).We then impose constraints on this axion-like EDE extension model,along with three other models:the axion-like EDE model,ΛWDM,and Λ*** constraints are derived from a comprehensive analysis incorporating data from the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background,baryon acoustic oscillations,and the Pantheon compilation,as well as a prior on h_(0)(i.e.h_(0)=73.04±1.04,based on the latest local measurement by Riess et al)and a Gaussianized prior on S_(8)(i.e.S_(8)=0.766±0.017,determined through the joint analysis of KID1000+BOSS+2dLenS).We find that although the new model maintains the ability to alleviate the hubble tension to~1.4σ,it still exacerbates the S_(8)tension to a level similar to that of the axion-like EDE model.

Constructing robust surface and bulk structure is the prerequisite for realizing high performance high voltage LiCoO2（LCO）.herein,we manage to synthesize a surface Mg-doping and bulk Al-doping coreshell structured LCO,which demonstrates excellent cycling ***-cell shows 94.2% capacity retention after 100 cycles at 3.0-4.6 V（***/Li+） cycling,and no capacity decay after 300 cycles for fullcell test（3.0-4.55 V）.Based on comprehensive microanalysis and theoretical calculations,the degradation mechanisms and doping effects are systematically *** the undoped LCO,high voltage cycling induces severe interfacial and bulk degradations,where cracks,stripe defects,fatigue h2 phase,and spinel phase are identified in grain *** the doped LCO,Mg-doped surface shell can suppress the interfacial degradations,which not only stabilizes the surface structure by forming a thin rock-salt layer but also significantly improves the electronic conductivity,thus enabling superior rate *** Al-doping can suppress the lattice "breathing" effect and the detrimental h3 to h1-3 phase transition,which minimizes the internal strain and defects growth,maintaining the layered structure after prolonged *** theoretical calculations,this work deepens our understanding of the doping effects of Mg and Al,which is valuable in guiding the future material design of high voltage LCO.

In organic solar cells(OSCs),it is an effective way to improve the power conversion efficiency(PCE)by adding a guest component with appropriate absorption and energy levels in the host ***,a new nonfullerene acceptor(NfA)named TBf-2Cl was developed by the strategy of expanding theπconjugated core of 2,2’-(((4,4,9,9-tetrahexyl-4,9-dihydro-s-indaceno[1,2-b:5,6-b’]dithiophene-2,7-diyl)bis(methaneylylidene))bis(5,6-dichloro-3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1h-indene-2,1-diylidene))dimalononitrile(IDT-4Cl)with two benzene *** increase of benzene units,TBf-2Cl exhibits higher lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)level of-3.75 eV than that of one benzene unit based NfA IDT-4Cl and fluorene core based NfA f-2Cl,which facilitates enhancing the open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))of ternary ***,TBf-2Cl film shows a medium optical bandgap with the absorption range from 500-800 nm,being well complementary with the wide bandgap polymer donor D18 and narrow bandgap NfA ***,a remarkable PCE of 18.92%with a high short-circuit current density(J_(sc))of 27.40 mA·cm^(-2),a fill factor(ff)of 0.749,especially an outstanding V_(oc) of 0.922 V was achieved for the optimal ternary device based on D18:TBf-2Cl:Ch-6f,surpassing the binary counterpart(17.08%).The findings provide insight into the development of new guest acceptors for obtaining more efficient OSCs.
