for several centuries,far-field optical microscopy has remained a key instrument in many scientific disciplines,including physical,chemical,and biomedical ***,far-field imaging has many limitations:the spatial resolution is controlled by the diffraction of light,and the imaging speed follows the Nyquist–Shannon sampling *** recent development of super-resolution techniques has pushed the limits of spatial ***,these methods typically require complicated setups and long acquisition times and are still not applicable to deeptissue ***,we report imaging through an ultra-thin fibre probe with a spatial resolution beyond the Abbe limit and a temporal resolution beyond the Nyquist limit simultaneously in a simple and compact *** use the random nature of mode coupling in a multimode fibre,the sparsity constraint and compressive sensing *** new approach of super-resolution endo-microscopy does not use any specific properties of the fluorescent label,such as depletion or stochastic activation of the molecular fluorescent state,and therefore can be used for label-free *** demonstrate a spatial resolution more than 2 times better than the diffraction limit and an imaging speed 20 times faster than the Nyquist *** proposed approach can significantly expand the realm of the application of nanoscopy for bioimaging.

fish constitutes the main protein source for the Amazonian ***,the impact of different anthropogenic activities on trace element and metal accumulation in fish and their risks for human health at a regional scale remain largely *** we assessed exposure levels of 10 trace elements andmetals(Cr,Mn,fe,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Cd,Pb,and Hg)in 56 samples belonging to 11 different species of fish from the Brazilian *** studied the relationship between exposure levels,fish origin,and fish feeding habits,and assessed toxicological and carcinogenic risks for the Amazonian *** significant correlation was found between sampling site and exposure levels to the studied elements,but a significant difference was found between the accumulation of some metals and the position of the fish species in the food *** concentrations of Cr and Hg in fish flesh were found to exceed the Brazilian limits for human *** study shows that current fish consumption patterns can lead to estimated daily intakes of Hg,As and Cr that exceed the oral reference dose,thus posing a toxicological ***,carcinogenic risks may be expected due to the continued exposure to Cr and *** results of this study show that the consumption of wild caught fish in the Amazon region should be ***,continued monitoring of trace element and metal contamination in fish and on the health of the Amazonian population is recommended,particularly for riverine and indigenous communities.

The combination of Anti-de Sitter space （AdS） methods with light-front holography leads to a semi-classical first approximation to the spectrum and wavefunctions of meson and baryon light-quark bound *** from the bound-state Hamiltonian equation of motion in QCD,we derive relativistic lightfront wave equations in terms of an invariant impact variable ζ which measures the separation of the quark and gluonic constituents within the hadron at equal light-front *** equations of motion in physical space-time are equivalent to the equations of motion which describe the propagation of spin-J modes in anti–de Sitter （AdS） *** eigenvalues give the hadronic spectrum,and its eigenmodes represent the probability distributions of the hadronic constituents at a given *** to the light meson and baryon spectra are *** predicted meson spectrum has a string-theory Regge form M^ 2 = 4κ ^2 （n＋L＋S/2）;i.e.,the square of the eigenmass is linear in both L and n,where n counts the number of nodes of the wavefunction in the radial variable ζ.The space-like pion and nucleon form factors are also well *** thus obtains a remarkable connection between the description of hadronic modes in AdS space and the Hamiltonian formulation of QCD in physical space-time quantized on the light-front at fixed light-front time τ.The model can be systematically improved by using its complete orthonormal solutions to diagonalize the full QCD lightfront Hamiltonian or by applying the Lippmann-Schwinger method in order to systematically include the QCD interaction terms.

decades of research asserted that the oligodendroglial lineage comprises two cell types:oligodendrocyte precursor cells and ***,recent studies employing single-cell RNA sequencing techniques have uncovered novel cell states,prompting a revision of the existing *** forward,the oligodendroglial lineage should be delineated into five distinct cell states:oligodendrocyte precursor cells,committed oligodendrocyte precursor cells,newly formed oligodendrocytes,myelin-forming oligodendrocytes,and mature *** new classification system enables a deeper understanding of the oligodendroglia in both physiological and pathological *** this uniform terminology will facilitate comparison and integration of data across ***,including the consolidation of findings from various demyelinating models,is essential to better understand the pathogenesis of.demyelinating ***,comparing injury models across species with varying regenerative capacities can provide insights that may lead to new therapeutic strategies to overcome remyelination ***,by standardizing terminology and synthesizing data from diverse studies across different animal models,we can enhance our understanding of myelin pathology in central nervous system disorders such as multiple sclerosis,Alzheimer's disease,and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,all of which involve oligodendroglial and myelin dysfunction.

Light-front holography leads to a rigorous connection between hadronic amplitudes in a higher dimensional anti-de Sitter(AdS) space and frame-independent light-front wavefunctions of hadrons in(3 + 1)-dimensional physical space-time,thus providing a compelling physical interpretation of the AdS/CfT correspondence principle and AdS/QCD,a useful framework which describes the correspondence between theories in a modified AdS 5 background and confining field theories in physical *** a first semiclassical approximation,where quantum loops and quark masses are not included,this approach leads to a single-variable light-front Schro¨dinger equation which determines the eigenspectrum and the light-front wavefunctions of hadrons for general spin and orbital angular *** coordinate z in AdS space is uniquely identified with a Lorentz-invariant coordinate ζ which measures the separation of the constituents within a hadron at equal light-front *** internal structure of hadrons is explicitly introduced and the angular momentum of the constituents plays a key *** give an overview of the light-front holographic approach to strongly coupled *** particular,we study the photon-to-meson transition form factors(Tffs) fMγ(Q 2) for γ→ M using light-front holographic *** results for the Tffs for the η and η ' mesons are also *** novel features of QCD are discussed,including the consequences of confinement for quark and gluon condensates.A method for computing the hadronization of quark and gluon jets at the amplitude level is outlined.

Background: foraging theory predicts that animals select patches that offer the highest net rate of energy gain. Hence, prey distribution patterns and spatiotemporal heterogeneity play important roles in determining animal feeding patch selection. for waterfowl foraging on buried aquatic plant tubers, the distribution and biomass of these plant organs vary with depth in the substrate. Since excavation costs also increase with depth, the energy intake of the animals foraging on these plants is highly sediment depth dependent. Methods: Here, using observations of Swan Geese (Anser cygnoides) foraging on Vallisneria natans tubers, we test our hypothesis that geese feeding on tubers buried at intermediate sediment depth maximize their daily energy intake because of the interaction between tuber size and abundance with depth. To do this, we measured the distribution patterns of buried Vallisneria tubers under both undisturbed conditions and post-exploitation by geese (i.e. giving-up conditions). We investigated the relationship between tuber size and burial depth, and total tuber biomass within each sediment layer in undisturbed and exploited plots. finally, we compared modelled Swan Goose daily energy intake feeding on Vallisneria tubers buried at different sediment layers (1–10, 11–20 and 21–30 cm below the surface). Results: Dry weight of Vallisneria tubers linearly increased with burial depth, while average total dry weight density of tubers showed a unimodal relationship, peaking at intermediate levels. Not surprisingly, Swan Geese foraged most intensively on tubers buried at intermediate sediment depths, where they maximize their daily energy intake. Our results support our hypothesis that Swan Geese feeding on tubers at intermediate depths maximize their daily energy intake.
