目的探讨血清同型半胱氨酸(Hcy)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)及糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)在2型糖尿病视网膜病变(DR)中的影响。方法回顾性分析2019年4月—2022年6月本院内分泌科住院的2型糖尿病患者有糖尿病视网膜病变组(DR组)患者150例和非糖尿病视网膜病变(NDR组)患者150例的临床资料,包括每位患者的一般资料、生化指标。比较两组间的一般信息;分析DR组与NDR组的影响因素;多元素回归分析DR的危险因素。结果DR及NDR组患者年龄、病程方面差距具有统计学意义(PfBG、TG、LDL-C、HbA1c水平明显高于NDR组(PfBG、TG、TC、LDL-c、HbA1c呈正相关关系(P<0.05)。Logistics回归分析结果显示病程、TG、LDL-c、Hcy、HbA1c均是影响2型糖尿病视网膜病变的独立因素(P<0.05)。结论Hcy、LDL-c、HbA1c水平在DR患者中远高于NDR患者,三者与DR发生、发展存在一定联系,临床可根据其表达水平对患者病情变化进行有效评估。

Effective resource allocation and accountability are critical for public services in countries facing a crisis,to ensure minimum inequality and even save *** innovation is introduced as public sector reform to improve the performance and accountability of public sector *** the said benefit,little has been done to study public administrative innovation in countries under *** study extends the literature by examining the attitude of civil service managers to the administrative innovation in the Yemeni government representing a country in crisis from an integrated perspective of technology-organization-environment(TOE)and diffusion of innovation(DOI)*** was collected from a survey of 200 civil service managers of the Yemeni central *** result shows that the attitude of managers to private sector management style is scored the highest representing the key tool of the public administrative *** the other hand,the downsizing elements were ranked the least significant as public sector reform *** explanatory model highlights the use of information technology,quality of human resources,and budget management orientation as significant factors for the applicability of public administrative innovation in the Yemeni central government.

Peperomia pellucida(L.) Kunth is a medicinal plant used to manage inflammatory illnesses such as conjunctivitis, and gastrointestinal and respiratory tract disorders in tropical and subtropical ***, little is known about its pharmacological mechanism of action against eye diseases. This review aims to critically discuss the phytochemistry, pharmacology and toxicology of P. pellucida as well as its roles in the treatment of cataract, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Recent developments in the uses of P. pellucida for healthcare and nutraceutical products by the pharmaceutical industry are also covered in this review. for this review, a literature search was performed with PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scifinder Scholar and Scopus databases, using relevant keywords. Among the various phytochemicals identified from P. pellucida, β-caryophyllene, carotol, dillapiole, ellagic acid, pellucidin A, phytol and vitexin exhibit strong pharmacological activities within the mitogen-activated protein kinase and nuclear factor-κB signalling pathways in inflammatory eye diseases. The antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant,antihyperglycemic and anti-angiogenic activities displayed by P. pellucida extracts in many in vitro,in vivo and clinical studies suggest its potential role in the management of inflammatory eye diseases.P. pellucida extract was non-toxic against normal cell lines but displayed mild toxicity in animal *** growing public interest in P. pellucida has inspired the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries to process the plant into health products. Although the potential pharmacological mechanisms against eye diseases have been summarized, further studies of the interactions among constituent phytochemicals from P. pellucida within various signalling pathways shall support the use of the plant as an alternative therapeutic source.

Incidence and mortality of female breast cancer in the AsiaPacific region

Objective: To provide an overview of the incidence and mortality of female breast cancer for countries in the Asia-Pacific ***: Statistical information about breast cancer was obtained from publicly available cancer registry and mortality databases(such as GLOBOCAN), and supplemented with data requested from individual cancer registries. Rates were directly age-standardised to the Segi World Standard population and trends were analysed using joinpoint ***: Breast cancer was the most common type of cancer among females in the region, accounting for 18% of all cases in 2012, and was the fourth most common cause of cancer-related deaths(9%). Although incidence rates remain much higher in New Zealand and Australia, rapid rises in recent years were observed in several Asian countries. Large increases in breast cancer mortality rates also occurred in many areas, particularly Malaysia and Thailand, in contrast to stabilising trends in Hong Kong and Singapore, while decreases have been recorded in Australia and New Zealand. Mortality trends tended to be more favourable for women aged under 50 compared to those who were 50 years or older. Conclusion: It is anticipated that incidence rates of breast cancer in developing countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region will continue to increase. Early detection and access to optimal treatment are the keys to reducing breast cancerrelated mortality, but cultural and economic obstacles persist. Consequently, the challenge is to customise breast cancer control initiatives to the particular needs of each country to ensure the best possible outcomes.

New dibutyltin(IV) complexes of Schiff base derived from 5-chloroindoline-2,3-dione, indoline- 2,3-dione with amino acids (tryptophan, alanine and valine) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, electronic spectra, conductance measurements, and biological activity. The analytical data showed that the Schiff base ligand acts as bidentate towards metal ions via the azomethine nitrogen and carboxylate oxygen by a stoichiometric reaction of M:L (1:2) to form metal complexes. NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectral data of the ligands and metal complex agree with proposed structures. The conductivity values between 14 - 27 ohm-1cm2mol-1 in DMf imply the presence of non-electrolyte species. 3D molecular modeling and analysis of bond lengths and bond angles have also been conducted for a representative compound, [Bu2Sn(L2)2], to substantiate the proposed structures. Antibacterial results indicate that the metal complexes are more active than the free ligands.

In recent years, the conservation of industrial heritage in China has gained increasing attention within the broader context of urban conservation practices. for both policy-makers and scholars, accommodating this industrial heritage will emerge as a pertinent issue for consideration as a growing number of industrial architectural legacies dating from the Republican and Maoist eras come under (re)development pressures. This paper thus traces the development of industrial heritage conservation practices in China and discusses several dilemmas intrinsic to this type of conservation, including issues of authenticity, representativeness, and distinction. Based on comparative case studies from China and other international precedents, this paper also seeks to illustrate the different approaches that could be pursued while still attaining a balance between competing interests and claims.

The absorption spectrum of NiI between 445 and 510 nm has been investigated using the technique of laser vaporization/reaction with free jet expansion and cavity ring down laser absorption spectroscopy. Two new transitions namely,[21.3]^2△5/2-X^2△5/2 and [21.9]^2Ⅱ3/2-X^2△5/2 systems were identified and studied. Spectra of both ^58NiI and ^60NiI isotopic molecules were observed. Equilibrium molecular constants for both electronic states are reported and the equilibrium bond length for the [21.3]^2△5/2 state and the[21.9]^2Ⅱ3/2 state was respectively determined to be 2.431 and 2.481 A.

The aim of this study was to contribute to strengthening the efficiency in the treatment of the salivary gland tumours in the Stomatology and Maxillo-facial surgery service at the University Hospital Centre/Yalgado OUEDRAOGO of Ouagadougou. It has been a retrospective and descriptive study covering seven (7) years [January 2006-December 2012] on epidemiology and the treatment of 54 cases of the salivary glands tumours histologically confirmed. Benign tumours (non-malignant tumours were prevalent (61.11% of cases). The annual incidences were 4.71 cases for non malignant tumours and 3 cases for malignant tumours. The average age was 34-45 years for non malignant tumours and 44-33 years for malignant ones. In both groups, the tumour was discovered lately with an average 32-48 months before consulting in case of non malignant tumours and 18-29 months for malignant tumours. The location of non malignant tumours was very often the parotid (42.42%), under mandible gland (27.28%). Malignant tumours very often concerned the parotid (76.18%) and the under mandible gland (14.29%). The histology has revealed that pleomorphic adenoma was the leading type of non-malignant tumours (93.94% of cases) whereas carcinoma was predominant in malignant tumours (80.95% of cases). Long term track keeping was difficult and it has been complicated by the loss of contact with some patients. The low living standard, the time wasted before consulting, limited human resources and therapeutic means constitute handicaps to the treatment in our African context.

目的结肠炎是先天性巨结肠患儿常见的并发症,组织学研究表明巨结肠性肠炎患儿肠粘膜内的内分泌细胞减少和粘膜内分泌型 IgA不足。而Cdx1和Cdx2基因调控结肠粘膜上皮细胞的分化和增殖,本研究的目的是明确Cdx1和Cdx2基因表达与先天性巨结肠性肠炎之间的关系。方法采用半定量RT-PCR反应和原位杂交方法,11例先天性巨结肠患儿(年龄1～30个月,4例合并结肠炎)的无神经节细胞段、移行段和扩张段的手术切除标本为病例组,12例年龄相符(1～30个月)的非巨结肠患儿的远端结肠标本为对照组,观察Cdx1和Cdx2基因在其中的表达情况。结果Cdx1和Cdx2基因在对比组和先天性巨结肠的结肠粘膜上皮细胞均有表达,但是此二基因在先天性巨结肠性肠炎患儿的标本中表达明显减弱。结论本研究结果表明Cdx1和Cdx2基因表达减弱与先天性巨结肠性肠炎的病因密切相关。
