Here t.e f.lt.r out.ut.at.each pixel is t.e weight.d average of.pixels wit. surrounding neighborhoods using t.e chosen robust.M-est.mat.r f.nct.on. t.e main direct.on of.t.is paper is t. ident.f. t.e best.robust.M-est.mat.r f.nct.on f.r nonlocal-means denoising algorit.m. t.e nanost.uct.red CoAl int.rmet.llic compound was produced by mechanical alloying （MA） of.t.e Co50Al50 element.l powder mixt.re in a planet.ry high energy ball mill. t.e ordered B2-CoAl st.uct.re wit. t.e grain size of.about.6 nm was f.rmed via a gradual react.on af.er 10 h of.MA. A t.ermodynamic analysis of.t.e process was also done. t.e result. showed t.at.t.e int.rmet.llic compound of.CoAl had t.e minimum Gibbs f.ee energy compared t. solid solut.on and amorphous st.t.s indicat.ng t.e init.al MA product.was t.e most.st.ble phase in t.e Co-Al syst.m which was changed t. a part.ally disordered st.uct.re wit. a st.ady long-range order of.0.82 at.f.rt.er milling. t.is amount.of.disordering caused t.e ent.alpy of.f.nal product.t. show an increase of.about.5.1 k.·mol-1. Underst.nding t.e relat.onships bet.een t.pographic indices and crop yield variabilit. is import.nt.f.r soil manage- ment.and crop product.on in rolling landscape. t.o agricult.ral f.elds at.Alvena and Hepburn, Sask.t.hewan, Canada were select.d t. examine how t.pographic indices were relat.d t. wheat.yield under t.o t.pographic and weat.er condit.ons in t.e Canadian prairies. t.e landscapes of.t.e t.o sit.s are classif.ed as hummock. and t.e dominant.soil t.pe is an Aridic Ust.ll. t.e relat.onships among yield, t.pography, soil, and weat.er were analyzed using wheat.(t.it.cum aest.vum L.) grain yield f.om Alvena in 2001 (dry year) and 2004 (wet.year) and f.om Hepburn in 1998 (dry year). t.pographic/soil indices included relat.ve elevat.on, wet.ess index, upslope lengt., curvat.re, soil organic mat.er, and soil moist.re st.rage bef.re seeding. t.e result. indicat.d t.at. in t.e dry years, t.e correlat.on coef.icient. bet.een upslope lengt. and grain yield were 0.79 f.r t.e t.pical rolling landscape (Alvena) in 2001 and 0.73 f.r shallow gent.e rolling landscape (Hepburn) in 1998. In t.e wet.year (2004), t.e relat.onships bet.een yield and t.pographic/soil at.ribut.s were not.as st.ong as in dry years. t.eref.re, upslope lengt. was t.e best.yield indicat.r f.r t.e t.o landscapes in dry years, whereas no t.pographic indices were highly correlat.d t. crop yield in wet.years. t.ose t.pographic indices seemed usef.l in ident.f.ing t.e yield variabilit. and delineat.ng t.e proper management.zone.

Analysis is perf.rmed using t.e t.o-phase model of.t.e nanof.uid. Viscous dissipat.on and heat.generat.on/absorpt.on ef.ect. are also t.k.n int. account. Problem is f.rmulat.d using t.e long wavelengt. and low Reynolds number approach. Numerical solut.ons f.r t.e pressure rise per wavelengt., pressure gradient. axial velocit., t.mperat.re and heat.t.ansf.r rat. at.t.e boundaxy are obt.ined and st.died t.rough graphs. Result. show t.at.t.e area of.perist.lt.c pumping decreases wit. an increase in t.e nanopart.cles volume f.act.on. Increase in t.e velocit. slip paramet.r shows an increase of.t.e pressure gradient.in t.e occluded part.of.t.e channel. f.rt.er, addit.on of.copper nanopart.cles reduces bot. t.e axial velocit. and t.mperat.re of.t.e base f.uid. t.mperat.re of.t.e nanof.uid also decreases suf.icient.y f.r an increase in t.e value of.Blot.number.

t.e major advant.ges of.homogeneous charge compression ignit.on （HCCI） are high ef.iciency in combinat.on wit. low NOx-emissions. However, one of.t.e major challenges wit. HCCI is t.e cont.ol of.higher peak.pressures which may damage t.e engine, limit.ng t.e HCCI engine lif. period. In t.is paper, an at.empt.is made t. analyze comput.t.onally t.e ef.ect.of.induct.on swirl in cont.olling t.e peak.pressures of.an HCCI engine under various operat.ng paramet.rs. A single cylinder 1.6 L reent.ant.pist.n bowl diesel engine is chosen. f.r comput.t.onal analysis, t.e ECf.-3Z model of.St.R - CD is considered because it.is suit.ble f.r analyzing t.e combust.on processes in SI and CI engines. As an HCCI engine is a hybrid version of.SI and CI engines, t.e ECf.- 3Z model wit. necessary modif.cat.ons is used t. analyze t.e peak.pressures inside t.e combust.on chamber. t.e ECf.-3Z model f.r HCCI mode of.combust.on is validat.d wit. t.e exist.ng lit.rat.re t. mak. sure t.at.t.e result. obt.ined are accurat.. Numerical experiment. are perf.rmed t. st.dy t.e ef.ect.of.varying propert.es lik. speed of.t.e engine, pist.n bowl geomet.y, exhaust.gas recirculat.on （EGR） and equivalence rat.o under dif.erent.swirl rat.os in cont.olling t.e peak.pressures inside t.e combust.on chamber. t.e result. show t.at.t.e swirl rat.o has a considerable impact.on cont.olling t.e peak.pressures of.HCCI engine. A reduct.on in peak.pressures are observed wit. a swirl rat.o of.4 because of.reduced in cylinder t.mperat.res. t.e combined ef.ect.of.f.ur operat.ng paramet.rs, i.e., t.e speed of.t.e engine, pist.n bowl geomet.y, EGR, and equivalence rat.o wit. swirl rat.os suggest.t.at.lower int.k. t.mperat.res, reent.ant.pist.n bowl, higher engine speeds and higher swirl rat.os are f.vorable in cont.olling t.e peak.pressures.
