On chip chiral and plasmonic hybrid dimer or tetramer:Generic way to reverse longitudinal and lateral optical binding f.rces

f.r both the longitudinal binding f.rce and the lateral binding f.rce,a generic way of.controlling the mutual attraction and repulsion(usually ref.rred to as reversal of.optical binding f.rce)between chiral and plasmonic hybrid dimers or tetramers has not been reported so *** this paper,by using a simple plane wave and an onchip conf.guration,we propose a possible generic way to control the binding f.rce f.r such hybrid objects in both the near-f.eld region and the f.r-f.eld *** also investigate dif.erent inter-particle distances while varying the wavelengths of.light f.r each inter-particle distance throughout the *** of.all,f.r the case of.longitudinal binding f.rce,we f.nd that chiral-plasmonic hybrid dimer pairs do not exhibit any reversal of.optical binding f.rce in the near-f.eld region nor in the f.r-f.eld region when the wavelength of.light is varied in an air ***,when the same hybrid system of.nanoparticles is placed over a plasmonic substrate,a possible chip,it is possible to achieve a reversal of.the longitudinal optical binding ***,f.r the case of.lateral optical binding f.rce,we investigate a setup where we place the chiral and plasmonic tetramers on a plasmonic substrate by using two chiral nanoparticles and two plasmonic nanoparticles,with the setup illuminated by a circularly polarized plane *** applying the lef.-handed and the right-handed circular polarization state of.light,we also observe the near-f.eld and the f.r-f.eld reversal of.lateral optical binding f.rce f.r both *** f.r as we know,so f.r,no work has been reported in the literature on the generic way of.reversing the longitudinal optical binding f.rce and the lateral optical binding f.rce of.such hybrid *** a generic way of.controlling optical binding f.rces can have important applications in dif.erent f.elds of.science and technology in the near f.ture.

The development of.mathematical modeling of.inf.ctious diseases is a key research area in various elds including ecology and *** aim of.these models is to understand the dynamics of.behavior in inf.ctious *** the new strain of.coronavirus(COVID-19),there is no vaccine to protect people and to prevent its spread so ***,control strategies associated with health care,such as social distancing,quarantine,travel restrictions,can be adopted to control the pandemic of.*** article sheds light on the dynamical behaviors of.nonlinear COVID-19 models based on two methods:the homotopy perturbation method(HPM)and the modied reduced dif.erential transf.rm method(MRDTM).We invoke a novel signal ow graph that is used to describe the COVID-19 *** our mathematical studies,it is revealed that social distancing between potentially inf.cted individuals who are carrying the virus and healthy individuals can decrease or interrupt the spread of.the *** numerical simulation results are in reasonable agreement with the study *** f.ee equilibrium and stability point f.r the COVID-19 model are ***,the existence of.a unif.rmly stable solution is proved.

Background and aim:Advanced liver f.brosis is a major risk f.r developing hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)in chronic hepatitis C virus(HCV)***-acting antivirals(DAAs)which are used f.r treating HCV inf.ction,produce more than 90%cure rate but do not seem to diminish the rate of.occurrence or recurrence of.*** study aimed to investigate the ef.ect of.DAAs sof.sbuvir(SOf.and daclatasvir(DAC)on carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)-induced f.brotic changes in ***:Eighty adult male Swiss albino mice were randomly allocated into 8 groups(10 mice/group):normal control group,SOf.group(receiving SOf.80 mg/kg body weight(BW),oral gavage,daily),DAC group(receiving DAC 30 mg/kg BW,oral gavage,daily),SOf.t DAC group(receiving a combination of.both,daily),CCl4 model group(receiving CCl42 mL/kg BW,intraperitoneal twice weekly)and three CCl4-intoxicated groups receiving either SOf.or DAC or their *** CCl4 groups received CCl4 f.r 12 weeks f.llowed by DAAs f.r another 12 ***:CCl4-induced a signif.cant elevation of.alanine aminotransf.rase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransf.rase(AST),and produced histopathological evidence of.f.brosis and liver degeneration along with a signif.cant increase(P0.001)of.the prolif.ration markers(prolif.rating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)and Ki-67),hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)activation markers(alpha-smooth muscle actin(a-SMA)and glial f.brillary acidic protein(Gf.P)),f.brosis marker(matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9))and proinf.ammatory cytokine(tumor necrosis f.ctor-alpha(TNf.a)).CCl4-intoxicated mice treated with SOf.DAC,or their combination revealed a signif.cant amelioration(P0.001)of.CCl4-induced elevation of.liver enzymes,f.brotic changes,and liver degeneration along with a signif.cant attenuation(P0.001)of.CCl4-induced upregulation of.all tested *** ef.ects of.SOf.DAC,and their combination on liver enzymes were comparable while the ef.ect of.SOf.t DAC combination on mitigating CCl4-induced upregulation of.the

We applied a spatial high-order f.nite-dif.erence-time-domain (HO-f.TD) scheme to solve 2D Maxwell’s equations in order to develop a f.uid model employed to study the production of.terahertz radiation by the f.lamentation of.two f.mtosecond lasers in air plasma. We examined the perf.rmance of.the applied scheme, in this context, we implemented the developed model to study selected phenomena in terahertz radiation production, such as the excitation energy and conversion ef.iciency of.the produced THz radiation, in addition to the inf.uence of.the pulse chirping on properties of.the produced radiation. The obtained numerical results have clarif.ed that the applied HO-f.TD scheme is precisely accurate to solve Maxwell’s equations and suf.iciently valid to study the production of.terahertz radiation by the f.lamentation of.two f.mtosecond lasers in air plasma.

f."> Soil salinity is one of the major yield-limiting factors for crop production in many agricultural regions all over the world. Besides following efficient management practices at the field scale to reduce accumulation of salts in the effective root-zone, the effective use of treatments to alleviate the effects of salinity stress and improve crop salt tolerance is a promising solution to ensure crop production in such adverse conditions. A field experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of foliar spray with plant-based biostimulant (i.e. with and/or without 3% yeast extract), three levels of proline (0, 25, and 50 mM), and combined with potassium fertilizers, as potassium sulfate, 48% K2O (0, 50, and 100 kg/fed.) on growth promotion, chemical composition of garlic leaves, bulb quality parameters as well as yield and its components of garlic plant grown under moderate saline soil. Results revealed that the interaction between foliar spray with yeast extract at 3% and proline at 50 mM combined with proper K level at 100 kg/fed., was the best interaction treatment for increasing vegetative growth parameters, i.e. plant height, number of leaves per plant, and mineral contents (N, P, K, S, Ca and Mg in leaves), and proline content of garlic leaves after 135 days from planting time, total yield/fed., and garlic yield quality parameters at harvesting time. In conclusion, the detrimental effects of salinity stress can be alleviated by stress tolerance-inducing compounds, such as yeast extract and proline with proper application rate of K fertilization during the growing season of garlic crop.

Even f.r a 100 nm interparticle distance or a small change in particle shape,optical f.no-like plasmonic resonance mode usually vanishes *** would be remarkable if.stable f.no-like resonance could somehow be achieved in distinctly shaped nanoparticles f.r more than 1μm interparticle distance,which corresponds to the f.r electromagnetic f.eld *** such f.r-f.eld f.no-like plasmonic resonance can be achieved,controlling the reversal of.the f.r-f.eld binding f.rce can be attained,like the currently reported reversals f.r near-f.eld *** this work,we have proposed an optical set-up to achieve such a robust and stable f.no-like plasmonic resonance,and comparatively studied its remarkable impact on controlling the reversal of.near-and f.r-f.eld optical binding *** our proposed set-up,the distinctly shaped plasmonic tetramers are half.immersed(***-benzene)in an inhomogeneous dielectric interf.ce and illuminated by?circular?polarized *** have demonstrated signif.cant dif.erences between near-and f.r-f.eld optical binding f.rces along with the Lorentz f.rce f.eld,which partially depends on the object’s shape.A clear connection is shown between the f.r-f.eld binding f.rce and the resonant modes,along with a generic mechanism to achieve controllable f.no-like plasmonic resonance and the reversal of.the optical binding f.rce in both f.r-and near-f.eld conf.gurations.

In this research,we f.cus on the f.ee-surf.ce def.rmation of.a one-dimensional elastic semiconductor medium as a f.nction of.magnetic f.eld and moisture *** problem aims to analyze the interconnection between plasma and moisture dif.usivity processes,as well as thermo-elastic *** study examines the photothermoelasticity transport process while considering the impact of.moisture *** employing Laplace’s transf.rmation technique,we derive the governing equations of.the photo-thermo-elastic *** equations include the equations f.r carrier density,elastic waves,moisture transport,heat conduction,and constitutive *** stresses,thermal conditions,and plasma boundary conditions are used to calculate the f.ndamental physical parameters in the Laplace *** employing numerical techniques,the Laplace transf.rm is inverted to get complete time-domain solutions f.r the primary physical domains under ***,thermoelastic,and thermoelectric characteristics are employed in conjunction with a graphical analysis that takes into consideration the ef.ects of.applied f.rces on displacement,moisture concentration,carrier density,stress due to f.rces,and temperature distribution.
