Background: Hom. deliveries is still high globally at 42% WHO 2022, due to high hom. deliveries, m.ternal death is also high at 43% globally. In sub-Sahara region hom. deliveries still high. Giving birth at health f.cilities in m.st of.sub-Saharan Af.ican countries Zam.ia inclusive is still a challenge whereby m.re than 51% of.f.rst-tim. m.thers give birth at hom. and this gives a risk of.high m.ternal and perinatal deaths. Theref.re Reducing num.er of.hom. deliveries is im.ortant to im.rove m.ternal and perinatal health issues. In this study, the aim.was to investigate the determ.nants of.hom. deliveries by pregnant m.thers in the Luum.o zone of.Gwem.e district, Zam.ia. Purpose: Access to skilled care and f.cilities with capacity to provide em.rgency and newborn care is critical to reduce m.ternal death. In Zam.ia 42% of.wom.n still deliveries f.om.hom., suggesting a persistent challenge f.r wom.n to seek, reach, and receive quality m.ternity care. This study aim.d investigate the determ.nants of.hom. deliveries by pregnant m.thers in Luum.o zone of.Gwem.e district, Zam.ia. m.thods: The study was conducted am.ng postnatal m.thers who cam. f.r postnatal care at 6 weeks in Luum.o Chabbobbom. clinic in Gwem.e district southern province of.Zam.ia. This was a descriptive cross-sectional study where a Sim.le random.sam.ling technique was used to select 105 wom.n of.childbearing age who attended postnatal and had a recent delivery. Data were collected using a researcher-adm.nistered structured questionnaire to identif. determ.nants of.hom. deliveries in Luum.o Chabbobbom. zone. Data analysis was done using SPSS com.uter sof.ware version 27.0. Both descriptive and inf.rential (chi-square test) analyses were perf.rm.d and statistical signif.cance was taken at α ≤ 0.05. Results: The results show that 46 (43.8%) respondents were in the age bracket 20 - 29 years. Of.the 105 respondents included in the study, 24 (22.9%) of.them.delivered f.om.hom.. Background: The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is recognized as an index of.m.asurem.nts reproducibility. We derive the m.xim.m.likelihood estim.tors of.SNR and discuss conf.dence interval construction on the dif.erence between two correlated SNRs when the readings are f.om.bivariate norm.l and bivariate lognorm.l distribution. We use the Pearsons system.of.curves to approxim.te the dif.erence between the two estim.tes and use the bootstrap m.thods to validate the approxim.te distributions of.the statistic of.interest. m.thods: The paper uses the delta m.thod to f.nd the f.rst f.ur central m.m.nts, and hence the skewness and kurtosis which are im.ortant in the determ.nation of.the param.ters of.the Pearsons distribution. Results: The approach is illustrated in two exam.les;one f.om.veterinary m.crobiology and f.od saf.ty data and the other on data f.om.clinical m.dicine. We derived the f.ur central m.m.nts of.the target statistics, together with the bootstrap m.thod to evaluate the param.ters of.Pearsons distribution. The f.tted Pearsons curves of.Types I and II were recom.ended based on the available data. The R-codes are also provided to be readily used by the readers.

We prove that non-recursive base conversion can always be im.lem.nted by using a determ.nistic m.rkov process. Our paper discusses the pros and cons of.recursive and non-recursive m.thods, in general. And we include a com.arison between non-recursion and a determ.nistic m.rkov process, proving that the m.rkov process is twice as ef.icient.

Deep learning is a practical and ef.icient technique that has been used extensively in m.ny dom.ins. Using deep learning technology, deepf.kes create f.ke im.ges of.a person that people cannot distinguish f.om.the real one. Recently, m.ny researchers have f.cused on understanding how deepkakes work and detecting using deep learning approaches. This paper introduces an explainable deepf.ke f.am.work f.r im.ges creation and classif.cation. The f.am.work consists of.three m.in parts: the f.rst approach is called Instant ID which is used to create deepf.cke im.ges f.om.the original one;the second approach called Xception classif.es the real and deepf.ke im.ges;the third approach called Local Interpretable m.del (LIm.) provides a m.thod f.r interpreting the predictions of.any m.chine learning m.del in a local and interpretable m.nner. Our study proposes deepf.ke approach that achieves 100% precision and 100% accuracy f.r deepf.ke creation and classif.cation. f.rtherm.re, the results highlight the superior perf.rm.nce of.the proposed m.del in deep f.ke creation and classif.cation.

Background: When continuous scale m.asurem.nts are available, agreem.nts between two m.asuring devices are assessed both graphically and analytically. In clinical investigations, Bland and Altm.n proposed plotting subject-wise dif.erences between raters against subject-wise averages. In order to scientif.cally assess agreem.nt, Bartko recom.ended com.ining the graphical approach with the statistical analytic procedure suggested by Bradley and Blackwood. The advantage of.using this approach is that it enables signif.cance testing and sam.le size estim.tion. We noted that the direct use of.the results of.the regression is m.sleading and we provide a correction in this regard. m.thods: Graphical and linear m.dels are used to assess agreem.nts f.r continuous scale m.asurem.nts. We dem.nstrate that sof.ware linear regression results should not be readily used and we provided correct analytic procedures. The degrees of.f.eedom.of.the f.statistics are incorrectly reported, and we propose m.thods to overcom. this problem.by introducing the correct analytic f.rm.of.the f.statistic. m.thods f.r sam.le size estim.tion using R-f.nctions are also given. Results: We believe that the tutorial and the R-codes are usef.l tools f.r testing and estim.ting agreem.nt between two rating protocols f.r continuous scale m.asurem.nts. The interested reader m.y use the codes and apply them.to their available data when the issue of.agreem.nt between two raters is the subject of.interest.

The science of.radio astronom. f.cuses on the observation and study of.celestial objects by reading their radio waves. The 5 m.ter radio-telescope is able to observe dif.erent radio sources using a C-band LNB. This research was essentially f.cused on Crab Nebula, also known as Taurus A. The study led to interesting observations, which were validated num.rically using various scientif.c com.uting sof.ware. The radio waves em.tted by Taurus A are readable by the RTL-SDR, a sof.ware def.ned radio receiver. This device is capable of.reading radio f.equencies in the range of.0.5 m.Z to 1700 m.Z.
