Plant immunity is a multilayered process that includes recognition of.patterns or ef.ectors f.om pathogens to elicit def.nse *** include the induction of.a cocktail of.def.nse metabolites that typically restrict pathogen ***,we investigate the interaction between barley roots and the f.ngal pathogens Bipolaris sorokiniana(Bs)and f.sarium graminearum(f.)at the metabolite *** identif. hordedanes,a previously undescribed set of.labdane-related diterpenoids with antimicrobial properties,as critical players in these *** of.barley roots by Bs and f. elicits hordedane synthesis f.om a 60o-kb gene *** reconstruction of.the biosynthesis pathway in yeast and Nicotiana benthamiana produced several hordedanes,including one of.the most f.nctionally decorated products 19-β-hydroxy-hordetrienoic acid(19-OH-hta).Barley mutants in the diterpene synthase genes of.this cluster are unable to produce hordedanes but,unexpectedly,show reduced Bs *** contrast,colonization by f.sarium graminearum,another f.ngal pathogen of.barley and wheat,is 4-f.ld higher in the mutants completely lacking ***,19-OH-hta enhances both germination and growth of.Bs,whereas it inhibits other pathogenic f.ngi,including *** of.microscopy and transcriptomics data suggest that hordedanes delay the necrotrophic phase of.*** together,these results show that adapted pathogens such as Bs can subvert plant metabolic def.nses to f.cilitate root colonization.

背景在心脏手术中可以通过自体血回收来避免输注同种异体血。另外已有人提出，血液中的碎片可能会增加卒中或神经意识功能障碍的风险，因此，清除回收血中的碎片可改善患者的预后。在此研究中，我们试图通过系统性回顾已发表的随机控制性试验进行荟萃分析，明确在心脏手术中自体血回收的整体安全性和有效性。方法全面检索找出关于所有有关心脏手术中应用自体血回收技术的所有随机试验。截止到2008年11月的MEDLINE、Cochrane图书馆、EMBASE和摘要资料库均被检索完全。将所有心脏手术中应用自体血回收技术与未应用自体血回收技术进行比较，并且报道至少一个明确的临床结果的随机试验均被列为研究对象。随机效应模型被用来依次计算比值比（OR，95％可信区间）、二分法加权平均差（WMD，95％可信区间）和连续变量。结果包括2282例患者在内的31个随机试验最终被作为研究对象进行荟萃分析。在心脏手术中，进行手术中自体血回收减少了接触同种异体异基因血制品（比值比0．63，95％可信区间：0．43—0．94，P=0．02）及红细胞（比值比0．60，95％可信区间：0．39—0．92，P=0．02）的概率，也降低了平均每例患者输注同种异体异基因血制品的总量（加权平均差-256ml，95％可信区间：-416--95ml，P=0．002）。但在以下几个方面进行自体血回收组与未进行自体血回收组之间并无差异，包括：院内死亡率（比值比0．65，95％可信区间：0．25—1．68，P=0．37）、手术后卒中或短暂缺血性发作（比值比0．59，95％可信区间：0．20～1．76，P=0．34）、房颤（比值比0．92，95％可信区间：0．69—1．23，P=0．56）、肾功能衰竭（比值比0．86，95％可信区间：0．41—1．80，P=0．70）、感染（比值比1．25，95％可信区间：0．75—2．10，P=0．39）、接受新鲜冰冻血浆治疗（比值比1．16，95％可信区间：0．82—1．66，P=0．40）以及接受血小板输注治疗（比值比0．90，95％可信区间：0．63—1．28，P=0．55）。结论现有的证据表明应用自体血回收技术可减少心脏手术中患者异体血制品或红细胞的输注。进一步的分析认为，只有在收集失血和（或）剩余机血，或在整个手术过程中应用自体血回收技术才是有利的。如果只在体外循环期间用自体血回收技术作为心内吸引，则对于血液保护没有明显效应且增加新鲜冰冻血浆的输注。

在以酚醛树脂(ＰＦ)和碳化硼(Ｂ４Ｃ)为原料的高温粘结剂基础上,Ａｌ２Ｏ３,Ｓｉ和白炭黑(超细ＳｉＯ２)作为第二种添加剂分别加入到粘结剂中以制备新型高温粘结剂,并对石墨材料进行粘结．用新型高温粘结剂粘结的石墨部件分别在２００、８００、１５００℃下热处理,并在室温条件下测试其剪切强度．结果表明,复合添加剂对石墨粘结部件的粘结性能有明显的影响．其中,酚醛树脂＋Ｂ４Ｃ＋白炭黑粘结剂具有较为理想的粘结性能,白炭黑的添加对提高石墨材料的高温粘结性能具有明显的作用．

世界范围内医用^(99)Tc^(m)供应链仍很脆弱,开发基于非裂变产物^(99)Mo的^(99)Mo-^(99)Tc^(m)分离装置及工艺对于提高我国^(99)Tc^(m)供应能力十分重要。活性碳纤维(ACf.是性能优良的钼锝色层分离材料,可用于制备多柱选择性反向发生器(MSIG)结构的非裂变^(99)Mo-^(99)Tc^(m)色层发生器。基于ACf.性和评价工作,利用重新设计的全自动非裂变^(99)Mo-^(99)Tc^(m)发生器装置,开发三柱^(99)Mo-^(99)Tc^(m)分离纯化工艺,并用该装置分离纯化获得的高锝[^(99)Tc^(m)]酸钠注射液进行MDP、MIBI药盒的标记。结果表明,非裂变^(99)Mo-^(99)Tc^(m)发生器三柱分离工艺对^(99)Mo-^(99)Tc^(m)模拟液中^(99)Tc^(m)收率可达78%,得到的高锝[^(99)Tc^(m)]酸钠注射液放化纯度和MDP、MIBI药盒标记率均符合《中国药典》要求。基于活性碳纤维开发的三柱反式选择型^(99)Mo-^(99)Tc^(m)发生器有望用于从非裂变^(99)Mo中提取^(99)Tc^(m)。

AIM: To improve the interpretation of.f.cal immunochemical test (f.T) results in colorectal cancer (CRC) cases f.om screening and ref.rral cohorts. METHODS: In this comparative observational study, two prospective cohorts of.CRC cases were compared. The f.rst cohort was obtained f.om 10 322 average risk subjects invited f.r CRC screening with f.T, of.which, only subjects with a positive f.T were ref.rred f.r colonoscopy. The second cohort was obtained f.om 3637 subjects scheduled f.r elective colonoscopy with a positive f.T result. The same f.T and positivity threshold (OC sensor; ≥ 50 ng/mL) was used in both cohorts. Colonoscopy was perf.rmed in all ref.rral subjects and in f.T positive screening subjects. All CRC cases were selected f.om both cohorts. Outcome measurements were mean f.T results and f.T scores per tissue tumor stage (T stage). RESULTS: One hundred and eighteen patients with CRC were included in the present study: 28 cases obtained f.om the screening cohort (64% male; mean age 65 years, SD 6.5) and 90 cases obtained f.om the ref.rral cohort (58% male; mean age 69 years, SD 9.8). The mean f.T results f.und were higher in the ref.rral cohort (829 ± 302 ng/mLvs 613 ± 368 ng/mL,P = 0.02). Tissue tumor stage (T stage) distribution was dif.f.rent between both populations [screening population: 13 (46%) T1, eight (29%) T2, six (21%) T3, one (4%) T4 carcinoma; ref.rral population: 12 (13%) T1, 22 (24%) T2, 52 (58%) T3, f.ur (4%) T4 carcinoma], and higher T stage was signif.cantly associated with higher f.T results (P f.cant dif.erence in mean f.T results was observed (screening vs ref.rral: T1 498 ± 382 ng/mL vs 725 ± 374 ng/mL, P = 0.22; T2 787 ± 303 ng/mL vs 794 ± 341 ng/mL, P = 0.79; T3 563 ± 368 ng/mLvs 870 ± 258 ng/mL,P = 0.13; T4 not available). Af.er correction f.r T stage in logistic regression analysis, no signif.cant dif.erences in mean f.T results were observed between both types of.cohorts (P = 0.10). CONCLUSION

Lannea velutina is a traditional herbal remedy used to treat various diseases, including hypertension (HBP). Herbal medicines are af.ordable, and some have minimal side ef.ects;they are rich in bioactive components that encourage prevention and treatment. This work uses appropriate experimental paradigms to investigate the phytochemical composition, antioxidant activity, and acute oral toxicity of.L. velutina trunk bark extracted in water, methanol, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane, and hexane. According to a high-perf.rmance thin-layer chromatography prof.le, this shrub’s bark contains sterols, saponosides, f.avonoids, and tannins. Compared to ethyl acetate and aqueous extracts, the methanol extract had the highest total phenolic (607.06 ± 0.6 mg GAE/g DW), f.avonoid (20.97 ± 0.23 mg QE/g DW), and condensed tannins (194.50 ± 0.75 CE/g DW) content. The methanol extract displayed the highest antioxidant activity using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging capability assay (IC50 = 8.59 g/mL;AAI = 4.66) compared to the other extracts. It exhibited antiradical action comparable to that of.Trolox (IC50 = 15.16 g/mL), ascorbic acid (IC50 = 11.94 g/mL), and catechin (IC50 = 11.64 g/mL). The connection between f.avonoid concentration and hydrophilic antioxidant activity was robust (r = 0.997). Mice were used to evaluate the acute oral toxicity of.ethyl acetate, methanol, and aqueous extracts using guidelines 425 of.the Organization f.r Economic Cooperation and Development. All tested extracts have an estimated LD50 greater than 2000 mg/kg body weight. The truncal bark of.L. velutina could be an alternative source f.r hta management.
