Background Estim.ted 4%-8% of.pregnancies are com.licated by asthm.. Adequate m.nagem.nt in this population is critical to m.nim.ze com.lications. Patients presenting with asthm. exacerbation are typically m.naged with standard bronchodilators and system.c corticosteroids. However, additional agents m.y be used in patients with ref.actory asthm. exacerbation. Ketam.ne has been used in ref.actory bronchospasm. although its ef.icacy in published literature is heterogeneous. Case Presentation We present a case of.a pregnant patient with severe asthm. exacerbation ref.actory to standard and salvage treatm.nt who achieved term.nation of.bronchospasm.with ketam.ne inf.sion. Conclusion Af.er receiving ketam.ne inf.sion f.r several days, the patient had im.roved air f.ow and achieved successf.l extubation, without experiencing rebound bronchospasm. Although this individual clinical case alone cannot change guidelines or directives to use in ref.actory asthm. exacerbations, it of.ers a possible treatm.nt option to patients and providers in unusually severe cases with extenuating risk f.ctors. © Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc. This paper validates the optim.l operation f.r a grid-connected double-f.d induction generator (Df.G) in an oscillating water colum. power plant (OWCPP). This study presents a novel optim.zation technique called the circulatory system.based optim.zation (CSBO) approach to develop six adaptive f.zzy logic controllers (Af.Cs) with 30 param.ters and com.are them.to chaotic-billiards optim.zation (C-BO) and genetic algorithm.(GA). The proposed controller is also com.ared with a proportional-integral dif.erential (PID) controller based on a self.adaptive global-best harm.ny search (SGHS). CSBO-based Af.Cs are f.lly investigated under dif.erent scenarios and experim.nted with using a real-tim. interf.ce DSP1104. The results of.using CSBO-Af.Cs revealed a f.st tim. response, f.st convergence, less overshoot and m.nim.l error com.ared with those achieved with C-BO-Af.C, SGHS-PID and GA-Af.C during dif.erent case studies. The CSBO-based Af.Cs ensure m.xim.m.power f.om.the Df.G in an OWCPP and enhance dynam.c response with very low errors. The results show that the CSBO shows better power tracking by 25% as com.ared with C-BO, by 45% when com.ared with the GA and by 56% when com.ared with PID. m.reover, the integral absolute errors of.six controllers are investigated to dem.nstrate the f.asibility of.CSBO-Af.C. The root m.an square of.the errors of.six controllers using CSBO is im.roved by 68.27% when com.ared with GA, by 22.57% when com.ared with C-BO and by 38.42% when com.ared with PID. These indicators dem.nstrate the f.asibility of.CSBO when com.ared with other algorithm. with the sam. OWCPP. The recently deployed Transition Region Explorer(TREx)-RGB(red-green-blue)all-sky im.ger(ASI)is designed to capture“true color”im.ges of.the aurora and *** the 557.7 nm.green line is usually the brightest em.ssion line in visible auroras,the green channel of.a TREx-RGB cam.ra is usually dom.nated by the 557.7 nm.*** this rationale,the TREx m.ssion does not include a specif.c 557.7 nm.im.ger and is designed to use the RGB green-channel data as a proxy f.r the 557.7 nm.*** this study,we present an initial ef.ort to establish the conversion ratio or f.rm.la linking the RGB green-channel data to the absolute intensity of.557.7 nm.auroras,which is crucial f.r quantitative uses of.the RGB *** illustrate two approaches:(1)through a com.arison with the collocated m.asurem.nt of.green-line auroras f.om.the TREx spectrograph,and(2)through a com.arison with the m.deled green-line intensity according to realistic electron precipitation f.ux m.asurem.nts f.om.low-Earth-orbit satellites,with the aid of.an auroral transport *** dem.nstrate the procedures and provide initial results f.r the TREx-RGB ASIs at the Rabbit Lake and Lucky Lake *** RGB response is f.und to be *** conversion ratios or f.rm.las between RGB green-channel data and the green-line auroral intensity are given and can be applied im.ediately by TREx-RGB data *** m.thodology established in this study will also be applicable to the upcom.ng Sm.LE ASI m.ssion,which will adopt a sim.lar RGB cam.ra system.in its deploym.nt.

It has been shown that the negative-norm.states necessarily appear in a covariant quantization of.the f.ee m.nim.lly coupled scalar f.eld in de Sitter spacetim.. In this processes ultraviolet and inf.ared di- vergences have been autom.tically elim.nated. A natural renorm.lization of.the one-loop interacting quantum.f.eld in m.nkowski spacetim. (λφ 4) has been achieved through the consideration of.the nega- tive-norm.states def.ned in Krein space. It has been shown that the com.ination of.quantum.f.eld theory in Krein space together with consideration of.quantum.m.tric f.uctuation, results in quantum.f.eld the- ory without any divergences. Pursuing this approach, we express Wick’s theorem.and calculate m.ller scattering in the one-loop approxim.tion in generalized Krein space. The m.them.tical consequence of.this m.thod is the disappearance of.the ultraviolet divergence in the one-loop approxim.tion.
