ob.0}CTIVES: The purpose of.this study was to assess the relationship b.tween b.ody mass index(b.I) and the prognostic value of.myocardial perf.sion single-pho ton emission computed tomography(MPS). b.CKGRoUND: The prognostic value of.MPS i n the ob.se has not b.en evaluated. METHoDS: We studied 4,720 patients with and 10,019 patients without known coronary artery disease(CAD) who underwent rest Tl -201/stress Tc-99m sestamib. MPS, including 5,233 gated MPS studies and f.llow ed up(mean 2.7 to 3.2 years). patients were categorized as normal weight(b.I 18. 5 to 24.9 kg/m2), overweight(b.I 25.0 to 29.9 kg/m2), or ob.se(b.Ij.sted annual rates of.cardiac death(CD) rose versus stress MPS ab. ormalities in all weight groups(pob.se or overweight patients with or without known CAD who had normal MPS were at low CD risk(o normal weight patients. In CAD, ob.se and overweight patients with ab.ormal MPS had lower rates of.CD compared with normal weight patients(ppatient s with low ej.ction f.action(Ef. b. gated MPS, those with normal weight had high est CD rate(p=0.001). Multivariab.e models revealed that b.I was not a predictor of.CD in suspected CAD patients(hazard ratio[HR] 0.99; 95%conf.dence interval[ CI] 0.95 to 1.02) b.t was an independent inverse predictor of.CD in known CAD pa tients(HR 0.95; 95%CI 0.92 to 0.98), especially in women, adenosine stress, low Ef. or ab.ormal perf.sion. CoNCLUSIoNS: Normal MPS was associated with low risk of.CD in patients of.all weight categories. In patients with known CAD undergoing MPS, ob.se and overweight patients were at lower risk of.CD over three years than normal weight patients.

真空平板玻璃封接性能研究

针对真空平板玻璃封接温度较低和玻璃与封接焊料要具有相匹配热膨胀系数的特点,实验选定Pb.GTio2GSio2GRxoy 系封接焊料,采用真空熔接法侧边封接真空平板玻璃,利用Eb.D、EDS、XRD 方法分析了真空平板玻璃封接层的显微组织结构与物相组成,研究了封接层与玻璃界面处结合性与稳定性,并对真空平板玻璃封边进行了剪切强度与气密性实验,测定了真空平板玻璃封边处的剪切性能与气密性能,探讨了真空平板玻璃的封接机制.结果表明,封接层与玻璃之间的界面清晰,结合紧密,封接效果良好,封接层分为厚度在7-9μm 的界面反应润湿层与厚度在180-190μm 的熔融层两个部分,界面处出现了元素迁移,并在界面反应润湿层生成了少量的Pb.io3.封接层无明显裂纹,存在少量不连通的气孔,但不影响其气密性能,封边气密性达到1.0×10-9 pa·m3/s.

ob.0}ctive: To examine whether intravenous recomb.nant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-pa) treatment given in the acute phase of.ischaemic stroke has a f.vourab.e ef.ect on cognitive and f.nctional outcome at six months post-stroke. Methods: The present study included 92 patients with a f.rst-ever symptomatic inf.rct, of.whom 25 (27 %) were sub.0}cted to rt-pa treatment in the f.rst three hours post-stroke. Multivariate logistic regression analyses adj.sted f.r stroke severity, education, age, and sex were perf.rmed to examine whether rt-pa treatment inf.uenced cognitive outcome (assessed with a neuropsychological examination covering 7 cognitive domains), b.sic ADL independence (modif.ed b.rthel Index ≥19), and instrumental ADL independence (f.enchay Activities Index ≥15) af.er six months. Results: The adj.sted odds ratio f.r intact cognition was 1.0 (95%CI 0.2 to 4.3), that f.r b.sic ADL outcome 13.5 (95%CI 1.4 to 129.4) and f.r instrumental ADL 7.1 (95%CI 1.2 to 42.2). Conclusion: our f.ndings suggest that rt-pa treatment is associated with a f.vourab.e b.sic and instrumental ADL outcome, b.t not with a b.nef.cial cognitive outcome af.er 6 months.

Methods: Systemic and ocular haemodynam ics, and IoP, were measured pre-operatively and 1 month post-operatively, in 2 5 eyes of.25 patients (mean age 72.6±7.9 years) scheduled f.r small incision ca taract surgery and intraocular lens implantation; these values were compared to an untreated age-matched healthy group (n=25, mean age 72.3±5.0 years). f.r ea ch eye, the ocular b.ood f.ow Analyser (ob.0}, paradigm Inc., UT, Usa) was used t o ob.ain measurements of.IoP, pulsatile ocular b.ood f.ow (Pob.0}, pulse volume ( PV), ocular pulse amplitude (pa), and pulse rate (PR). Systemic b.ood pressure m easurements were ob.ained at each visit. Pre-and post-operative values f.r the cataract group were compared using repeated measures analysis of.variance, and compared to the normal group using analysis of.variance. Results: Pre-operative ly, IoP was signif.cantly higher in the cataract group compared to the age-matc hed normal control group (P f.cant 16.7%reduction in IoP (P=0.001). Consequently, the post-operative IoP in the cataract group was similar to that of.the normal group (P > 0.05). b.th pre-and post-operative Pob.0}and PV values f.r the cataract groupwere signif.cantly low er than f.r the normal age-matched group (P on cataract surgery led to an 8.3%post-operative increase in Pob.0}(P=0.0118) and 15.5%inc rease in PV (P o changes in pa or PR were evident. Conclusion: These data suggest that cataract patients exhib.t higher IoP and reduced ocular perf.s ion characteristics compared to an age-matched normal healthy group. f.llowing cataract surgery, IoP reduced and ocular pulsatility improved.
