Convection-permitting.modeling.allows us to understand mechanisms that inf.uence rainf.ll in specif.c ***,microphysics parameterization(MP) and planetary boundary layer(PBL) schemes remain an important source of.uncertainty,af.ecting.rainf.ll intensity,occurrence,duration,and ***,we study the sensitivity of.rainf.ll to three MP [Weather Research and f.recasting.WRf. Sing.e-Moment 6-class(WSM6),Thompson,and Morrison] and two PBL [the Yonsei University(YSU) and Mellor–Yamada nakanishi niino(MYnn)] schemes with a convection-permitting.resolution(4 km) over northwestern South America(nWSA).Simulations were perf.rmed by using.the WRf.model and the results were evaluated ag.inst sounding.,rain g.ug.s,and satellite data,considering.the spatio-temporal variability of.rainf.ll over diverse reg.ons prone to deep convection in *** and PBL schemes larg.ly inf.uenced simulated rainf.ll,with better results f.r the less computationally expensive WSM6 MP and YSU PBL *** rain g.ug.s and satellite estimates,simulations with Morrison MP overestimated rainf.ll,especially westward of.the Andes,whereas the MYnn PBL underestimated precipitation in the Amazon–Savannas *** f.und that the uncertainty in the rainf.ll representation is hig.ly dependent on the reg.on,with a hig.er inf.uence of.MP in the Colombian Pacif.c and PBL in the Amazon–Savannas *** analyzing.rainf.ll-related processes,the selection of.both MP and PBL parameterizations exerted a larg. inf.uence on the simulated lower tropospheric moisture f.ux and moisture *** schemes sig.if.cantly inf.uenced the downward shortwave radiation,with MYnn simulating.a g.eater amount of.low clouds,which decreased the radiation ***,latent heat f.uxes were g.eater f.r YSU,f.voring.moist convection and *** schemes had a marked impact on vertical ***,Morrison MP showed strong.r convection and hig.er precipitation rates,which is assoc

This article presents the construction of.scaf.olds composed of.polylactic acid(PLA)with dif.erent concentrations of.hydroxyapatite(HA)by electrospinning.which were superf.cially modif.ed with polypyrrole(PPy/I)by plasma polymerization.A preliminary study was conducted of.the biolog.cal and mechanical behavior of.the scaf.olds when they were implanted in the back of.rabbits f.r 30 days;bone cells dif.erentiated f.om mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)were *** bone cell and scaf.old structures were characterized by histolog.cal,immunohistochemical,and mechanical stress ***–eosin staining.showed g.od tissue *** immunohistochemical tests hig.lig.ted the presence of.the main bone tissue proteins,such as collag.n,osteocalcin,and *** PLA/HA scaf.olds were observed to exhibit cell adhesion and prolif.ration properties;however,the response was much better in the scaf.olds that had a hig.er concentration of.HA and that were coated with PPy/*** results of.the mechanical tests of.the scaf.olds indicated that the plasma treatment improved the adhesion and cell prolif.ration properties and contributed to the mechanical support,allowing.the f.rmation of.neotissues with g.od viability of.cell g.owth.

In this paper, the addition of.admixed superabsorbent polymer (SAP) improved the microstructure and durability-related properties in a cement-based system with supplementary materials. This is an important issue in real construction projects when g.od durability properties are required. This study investig.tes the ef.ect of.SAP on the systems using.cement replacement by f.y ash and silica f.me considering.the streng.h properties and durability properties of.paste under sulf.te attack of.cement-based system. The replacement considered in the study was of.10% silica f.me and 20% f.y ash in each case, the dosag. of.SAP was 0.25% of.the total amount of.cementitious material. The results showed that the addition of.SAP in the cement-based system improved the compressive streng.h and reduced expansion to sulf.te attack. Scanning.electron microg.aphs showed that utilization of.f.y ash with silica f.me and silica f.me with SAP resulted in a much denser microstructure, thereby, leading.to an increase in compressive streng.h and lower expansion under sulf.te attack.

In this paper,we analyse an analytical solution of.the Einstein–Maxwell f.eld equations that considers matter with anisotropic pressures in a static and spherically symmetric *** report the manner in which we obtained the solution,which is by means of.the Karmarkar *** the model,we assume a state equation that describes the interaction of.matter f.om quarks P=(c^(2)ρ-4B_(g.)/3 and we consider the presence of.electric charg.,which can g.nerate that the radial and tang.ntial pressures are not *** a g.aphic manner,we analyse the physical properties of.the model,taking.as the observational data those of.mass 1M⊙and radius7.69 km which were reported f.r the star Her *** charg. values are f.und between 5.57×10^(18)C≤Q≤1.31×10^(20)C and the interval of.the Bag.constant Bg.[118.7,122.13]MeV/f.^(3).Also,we show the stability of.the conf.g.ration by means of.the static stability criteria of.Harrison–Zeldovich–novikov((?M)/?ρc>0),as well as in reg.rds to inf.nitesimal radial adiabatic perturbation,since the adiabatic indexγ>3.3 which g.arantees the stability of.the solution.

In this report we present the g.neralization of.a solution to Einstein's equations with perf.ct f.uid f.r the case of.Einstein–Maxwell with perf.ct *** ef.ect of.the charg. is ref.ected by a parameter,ν,and its interval is determined by the positivity condition f.om the pressure in the interior of.the *** is shown that the solution is stable according.to the Zeldovich criteria as well as in relation to the criteria of.the adiabatic *** compactness,u=g./c^(2)R,of.this charg.d model is g.eater than it is f.r the charg.less case as a result of.the ef.ect of.the presence of.the *** allows it to represent stars with a hig. compactness,in particular a g.aphic analysis is presented f.r the star SAX J1808.4-3658 with mass M=1.435M_(⊙)and radius R=7.07 *** these data and employing.the solution,we obtain that the total maximum charg. f.r the star is Q=2.4085×10^(20)C.

Two motor-cog.itive interventions were implemented to evaluate their ef.icacy in cog.itive improvement in Mexican older adults 65 years and more. The intervention g.oup received a dance video g.mes plus a cog.itive task (dual-task);the comparison g.oup received only the dance video g.me, in sessions of.45 minutes, 3 times a week, f.r 12 weeks. The Barthel Index and Lawton and Brody Index, the Center f.r Epidemiolog.c Studies Depression Scale-Revised were applied the Dig.t Span Test, the Stroop Test, and Color Trail Making. g.it parameters were assessed by g.ITRite? electronic walkway (CIR Systems). The desig. was quasi-experimental. Sites were randomly assig.ed to intervention g.oups. The intervention g.oup started with 32 participants and f.nished with 15;the comparison g.oup started with 20 participants and f.nished with 18. Participants in the intervention g.oup had to mimic the dance movement of.a video g.me and, af.er the second week to name prog.essively three objects without stopping.dancing. A multivariate repeated measures model (MAnO-VA) was f.t with f.ur variables. A time-by-g.oup interaction was observed in the Stroop test, and Dig.ts Span Backwards was in f.vor of.the dual task g.oup. The Stroop test, Dig.t Span Backwards, g.it speed, and step leng.h showed ef.ect time. Both g.oups improved in g.it speed and step leng.h by the end of.the intervention. Results show it is f.asible f.r Mexican older adults with little schooling.to perf.rm dual tasks and improve cog.itive tasks and g.it speed. Limitations were hig. attrition due to unf.reseen situations and small sample size.

DDT and Endosulf.n are persistent org.nic compounds which have been prohibited and their use has been limited in ag.icultural activities due to their toxicity, persistence and bioaccumulation potential. The use of.DDT in f.mig.tion campaig.s ag.inst endemic diseases transmitted by vectors of.malaria and deng.e was prohibited in Carmen Island, Campeche, Mexico since 1995. In the surrounding. of.Sabancuy Lag.on, many and diverse ag.icultural activities are carried out and it is a common practice to use org.n-chlorine pesticides as endosulf.n. In order to know the levels of.these compounds in this area, a sediment sampling.campaig. was carried out in ten sampling.points randomly located within the Sabancuy Lag.on, Campeche and considering.one ref.rence sampling.point located 2 km away f.om Sabancuy Lag.on within the Mexican g.lf. Three metabolites were identif.ed in sediments samples belong.ng.to DDT’s f.mily: (4,4’-DDD;4,4’-DDE;4,4’- DDT) and Endosulf.n’s f.mily (Endosulf.n I, Endosulf.n II y Endosulf.n sulf.te). Hig.er concentrations in DDT’s f.mily were f.und f.r 4,4’-DDD, f.llowed by 4,4’-DDE and 4,4’-DDT. Endosulf.n’s f.mily, showed the f.llowing.order f.r concentrations: Endosulf.n II > Endosulf.n I > Endosulf.n sulf.te. Mean concentration f.r S-DDT and S-Endosulf.n in Sabancuy Lag.on sediments was twice hig.er than those f.und in other studies carried out in Términos Lag.on, Campeche, Mexico in 2002.

Temperature ef.ect was evaluated over the viscosity of.commercial carrot puree in the rang. 30 to 60 ℃, using.aBrookf.eld viscometer, model 4535, Lab-Line instruments. In order to perf.rm the viscosity tests, 28 specimens of.carrot puree f.oma local market were used. Totally, 72 tests （each one with a couple replicas） were perf.rmed during.f.ve minutes, using.f.urtemperatures （30, 40, 50 and 60 ℃）, six shear rates （0.26, 0.52, 1.05, 2.09, 5.24 and 10.47 s1） and three spindles （4, 5 and 6）.Statistical analysis was perf.rmed using.LSD and Duncan tests with a conf.dence interval of.95% （p value of.0.05）. In the currentstudy, it was observed that an increase in the temperature trig.ers a reduction in the viscosity of.the carrot specimens analyzed,althoug. the samples tested at 60℃ were deviated f.om this trend, which may be due to denaturation of.the starch containing.carrotsamples at such temperature. Multiple biochemical and micro-structural chang.s inside the f.od specimens may beg.n to occur belowand over the physiolog.cal rang. （20-45 ℃）. Experimental data were analyzed with Power Law model in order to obtain the bestf.tted parameters as a f.nction of.shear rate： It was observed that the consistent index （k） decreased with an increment in thetemperature; while all the values of.parameter ＂n＂ lesser than one, which means that the puree samples behaved as a pseudo-plasticf.uid. Besides that, an Arrhenius model was used to f.t the parameters as a f.nction of.temperature： Parameter A was lower using.heexperimental data at shear rates of.10.47 s-1. The modeling.perf.rmed may be helpf.l f.r the appropriate selection of.some processvariables, as the shear rate and operation temperature, used f.r the production of.carrot puree; all this is in order to obtain the f.nishedproduct with the desired consistency.
