The protection of.biodiversity which had long been bounded up with emblematic “natural” spaces is now increasingly f.cusing on ordinary biodiversity and rural agricultural land and f.rests as well as on urban and peri-urban spaces. Such ordinary biodiversity has its own specif.c f.atures which make it both a relative and uncertain topic of.research. Traditional nature protection instruments do not work on this dimension of.the planet’s living tissue and new tools need to be deployed in conjunction with regional and local stakeholders that will provide long-term sustainable solutions f.r biodiversity and f.r local and regional development more generally. Research conducted on the Plateau de Millevaches explores the possibilities f.r shared caring f.r this biodiversity.

Dimensional stability properties of.hot extruded 2024 Al alloy bar in T4 and T6 aging states and dif- f.rent extruded directions were investigated by testing micro-yield strength (MYS), stress relaxation resistance (SRR), and dimensional change in thermal cycling and unloading *** results show that micro-plastic def.rmation resistance in longitudinal(parallel to the axis of.the extruded bar) direction is higher than that in transverse(perpendicular to the axis of.the extruded bar) direction. Testing in short-term loading condition MYS value corresponding to micro-plastic strain of.1 *10m^(-5)in longitudinal direction is 1.4 times than that in *** with the results of.MYS and dimensional change in thermal cycling and unloading conditions, the values in T6 state are higher than that in T4 state. Using TEM the microstructures bef.re micro-plastic def.rmation were *** analyses conf.rm that stability of.thermodynamics condition and dislocation results in dimensional stability of.the alloy.

This study was conducted to evaluate the ef.f.ct of.replacing soybean meal(SBM) by low protein ?oc meal(LPf.; 24% CP) in tilapia diets on growth perf.rmance, f.ed utilization and ?sh chemical composition. Three isonitrogenous and isocaloric diets were f.rmulated; control diet(C; without LPf.),f. 25(25% of.SBM protein was substituted by LPf.) and f. 50(50% of.SBM protein was substituted by LPf.). Nine 55 l circular plastic tanks were stocked by 12 ?sh to f.rm three experimental *** dif f.rences in tilapia perf.rmance were observed between the control and the f. 25 diet. Chemical composition of.?sh did not dif f.r signi?cantly among treatments except f.r protein and selenium contents where the highest values were recorded in the control treatment. The highest mineral content was recorded in ?oc collected f.om the control tanks, while calcium content showed its highest value in ?oc collected f.om f. 50 e ? uent. These data indicate that replacing soybean meal with LPf. up to 25%, had no negative ef.f.ct on growth perf.rmance and potentially may improve the system sustainability. Meanwhile, the adverse ef.f.ct of.more inclusion of.LPf. in tilapia diet may be attributed to the higher content of.ash. In other word,minerals seem to cause more energy utilization in ?sh f.d ?oc meal since it is needed to maintain osmotic homeostasis.

Laser surf.ce texturing is a versatile approach f.r manuf.cturing implants with suitable surf.ces f.r *** work explores the use of.laser to f.bricate NiTi textured implants,testing two dif-f.rent groove-based *** perf.rmance was evaluated in vivo through implantation in Sprague Dawley rats’f.mur,being then analyzed af.er 4 and 12 weeks of.***-out experiments and histological characterization allowed to assess bone-implant bond and osseointegration and to compare the laser textured solutions with non-textured *** showed that,at 4 weeks of.implantation,mainly immature woven bone was present whilst at 12 weeks a more mature bone had ***-sidering the largest implantation time(12 weeks),results showed extraction f.rces considerably higher f.r textured implants(G2 and G3).Moreover,when comparing G2 and G3,it was f.und that G2(having the highest textured surf.ce area)displayed the maximum extraction f.rce among all groups,with an increase of.212%when compared to non-textured implants(G1).These results prove that the design and manuf.cturing technology are ef.ective to promote an im-proved bone-implant bond,aiming the development of.orthopedic implants.

f.ow over yawed and unyawed blunt bodies of.en occurs in various engineeringapplications. The f.uid f.ow over a yawed cylinder explains the practical signif.cance of.subseaapplications such as transf.rence control, separating the boundary layer above submergedblocks, and suppressing recirculating bubbles. The current study uses viscous dissipation toanalyze the mixed convective hybrid nanof.uid f.ow around a yawed cylinder. Unlike the stan-dard nanof.uid model, which only considers one type of.nanoparticle, this work considers thehybridization of.two types of.nanoparticles: alumina (Al_(2)O_(3)) and magnetite (f._(3)O_(4)). A modelwas developed to investigate the heat transport behaviour of.a hybrid nanof.uid while account-ing f.r the solid volume f.action. The f.ow problem is modelled in terms of.highly nonlinearpartial diff.rential equations (NPDEs) subject to the appropriate boundary conditions. Thenappropriate non-similar transf.rmations were used to non-dimensionalize the governing equa-tions. f.rthermore, the non-dimensional governing equations were solved using the f.nite dif-f.rence method (f.M) and the quasilinearisation technique. The ef.ects of.water andnanoparticle concentrations on the velocity and the temperature patterns were illustrated graph-ically. The hybrid nanof.uid reduces the velocity distribution in the spanwise and chordwise di-rections while increasing the surf.ce drag coef.icient. The hybrid nanof.uid’s f.uid temperatureand energy transport strength was higher than the base f.uid and nanof.uid. Also, the temper-ature of.the f.uid rises as the energy transf.r strength diminishes due to an increase in the Eckert number, which characterizes viscous dissipation. However, when the yaw angle increases in thechordwise and spanwise directions, so does the f.uid’s velocity. The new outcomes werecompared to previously published research and were in good agreement.

Human induced pluripotent stem cell(hiPSC)-derived kidney organoids have prospective applications ranging f.om basic disease modelling to personalised ***,there remains a necessity to ref.ne the bio-physical and biochemical parameters that govern kidney organoid *** within f.lly-controllable and physiologically relevant 3D growth environments will be critical to improving organoid reproducibility and ***,we matured hiPSC-derived kidney organoids within f.lly synthetic self.assembling peptide hydrogels(SAPHs)of.variable stif.ness(storage modulus,G′).The resulting organoids con-tained complex structures comparable to those diff.rentiated within the animal-derived matrix,***-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)was then used to compare organoids matured within SAPHs to those grown within Matrigel or at the air-liquid interf.ce.A total of.13,179 cells were analysed,revealing 14 distinct *** compositional analysis revealed a larger proportion of.nephron cell types within Transwell-derived organoids,while SAPH-derived organoids were enriched f.r stromal-associated cell ***,dif-f.rentiation within a higher G’SAPH generated podocytes with more mature gene expression ***-tionally,maturation within a 3D microenvironment signif.cantly reduced the derivation of.of.-target cell types,which are a known limitation of.current kidney organoid *** work demonstrates the utility of.syn-thetic peptide-based hydrogels with a def.ned stif.ness,as a minimally complex microenvironment f.r the selected diff.rentiation of.kidney organoids.

Two experimental techniques have been used to quantif. the atomic oxygen density in the case of.hot air plasma generated by a microwave （MW） resonant cavity. The latter operates at a f.equency of.2.45 GHz inside a cell of.gas conditioning at a pressure of.600 mbar, an injected air f.ow of.12 L/min and an input MW power of.1 kW. The f.rst technique is based on the standard two photon absorption laser induced f.uorescence （TALIf. using xenon f.r calibration but applied f.r the f.rst time in the present post discharge hot air plasma column having a temperature of.about 4500 K near the axis of.the nozzle. The second diagnostic technique is an actinometry method based on optical emission spectroscopy （OES）. In this case, we compared the spectra intensities of.a specif.c atomic oxygen line （844 nm） and the closest wavelength xenon line （823 nm）. The two lines need to be collected under absolutely the same spectroscopic parameters. The xenon emission is due to the addition of.a small proportion of.xenon （1% Xe） of.this chemically inert gas inside the air while a f.rther small quantity of.H2 （2~） is also added in the mixture in order to collect OH（A- X） and NH（A-X） spectra without noise. The latter molecular spectra are required to estimate gas and excitation temperatures. Optical emission spectroscopy measurements, at f.r instance the position z=12 mm on the axis plasma column that leads to a gas measured temperature equal to 3500 K, an excitation temperature of.about 9500 K and an atomic oxygen density 2.09× 1017＋ 0.2×1017 cm-3. This is in very good agreement with the TALIf.measurement, which is equal to 2.0×101T cm-3.
