We investigate decomposition of.codes and f.nite languages. A prime decomposition is a decomposition of.a code or languages into a concatenation of.nontrivial prime codes or languages. A code is prime if.it cannot be decomposed into at least two nontrivial codes as the same f.r the languages. In the paper, a linear time algorithm is designed, which f.nds the prime decomposition. If.codes or f.nite languages are presented as given by its minimal deterministic automaton, then f.om the point of.view of.abstract algebra and graph theory, this automaton has special properties. The study was conducted using system f.r computational Discrete Algebra GAP. .

The optimum levels of.Lysine and Glutamine needed f.r growth perf.rmance and maintenance of.the chicken broilers were evaluated in a randomized 3 × 4 f.ctorial arrangement of.dietary treatments. The battery cages measured 99 × 66 × 25 cm that can be suf.icient f.r 5 birds. Day old Chicken broilers totaling 180 were assigned to dietary treatments comprising of.3 concentrations of.Lysine (0.85, 1.14, and 1.42) each in combination with 4 concentrations of.Glutamine (0, 1, 2, and 3). Each dietary treatment was replicated 3 times and each replication had 5 birds. The birds were given f.ed and water ad libitum with a 23-hour light regimen f.r a period of.4 weeks. Then, the experimental birds were evaluated f.r body weight gain, f.ed consumption, and f.ed conversion in order to determine their optimum requirement f.r dietary Lysine and Glutamine. Based on the f.ndings of.this study, the highest perf.rmance was observed in birds f.d the diet supplemented with 1.42 lysine and 1% glutamine, but the highest improvement in f.ed conversion was observed in diet contain 1.14 and 1.42 with 1% and 3% glutamine, respectively. Birds f.d 1.42 lysine and 1% glutamine had the highest total body weight gain and f.ed consumption. The lysine requirements in the diet f.r Chicken are between 1.14 and 1.42 with glutamine level of.1%.

Introduction: A dental abscess is a collection of.pus located in the tissues surrounding the tooth roots. The aim of.this work is to describe the epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic aspects of.dental abscess in order to contribute to the management of.patients suf.ering f.om this pathology at the dental of.ice of.the Siguiri Pref.ctural Hospital. Methods: This was a retrospective descriptive study lasting 2 months carried out on the registers of.patients received between October 2017 and October 2020 at the dental of.ice of.the Siguiri pref.ctural hospital. Results: 4690 patient f.les were identif.ed during the study, of.which 546 met our selection criteria, i.e. a f.equency of.11.64%. During our study, we f.und 51.83% f.male compared to 48.17% male, i.e. a sex ratio of.1.07. 54.21% of.our patients resided in rural communes compared to 45.76% f.r the urban commune. The age group most af.ected was that of.16 - 25 years old or 33.69%. Swelling, pain and f.nctional discomf.rt were the reasons f.r consultation in all patients f.llowed by other associated reasons in 41.21%. The premolar-molar group was the most represented, i.e. 86.70%. 80.04% of.our patients presented an acute abscess compared to 19.96% of.chronic cases. Antibiotic, analgesic, and mouthwash were prescribed in all patients during the study f.llowed by 96.37% of.cases prescription of.steroidal anti-inf.ammatory drugs. 93.04% of.causal teeth were extracted f.llowed by 6.78% of.cases of.conservative treatment in our study. In our study, 80.95% of.our patients had a good post-therapeutic outcome. Conclusion: This study highlights the need f.r prevention and early management of.dental abscesses.

The paper describes some implementation aspects of.an algorithm f.r approximate solution of.the traveling salesman problem based on the construction of.convex closed contours on the initial set of.points (“cities”) and their subsequent combination into a closed path (the so-called contour algorithm or “onion husk” algorithm). A number of.heuristics related to the dif.erent stages of.the algorithm are considered, and various variants of.the algorithm based on these heuristics are analyzed. Sets of.randomly generated points of.dif.erent sizes (f.om 4 to 90 and f.om 500 to 10,000) were used to test the algorithms. The numerical results obtained are compared with the results of.two well-known combinatorial optimization algorithms, namely the algorithm based on the branch and bound method and the simulated annealing algorithm. .

Aim: This paper aims to evaluate the epidemiological and pathological aspects of.stomach cancer at Koutiala District Hospital. Methods: This was a retrospective study carried out in the General Surgery Department of.the Koutiala District Hospital Health Centre. The records of.patients admitted f.r stomach cancer in the period f.om August 1, 2017 to December 31, 2022 were collected. Patients who underwent surgery f.r stomach cancer were included in the study. Patients who had not undergone surgery were excluded. Results: We collected records f.om 40 patients operated on f.r stomach cancer. The median age was 58.4 years ± 5.7. Men were in the majority with 72.5% The sex ratio was 2.6. The incidence rate of.stomach cancer in the general population in the circle was 4.9 cases per 100,000 population. Patients had a history of.gastric ulcer in 90%, Helicobacter pylori inf.ction in 47.5% and a notion of.excessive salt consumption in 47.5%. The median duration of.disease progression was 5 years ± 2.3. The seat was antro-pyloric in 77.5%. The cancer was ulcerative budding in 23 patients. Adenocarcinoma was the histological type in all patients. The cancer was classif.ed as stage III in 30 cases and stage IV in 10 cases. Palliative surgical treatment was the most perf.rmed (47.5%). Postoperative morbidity was 15% and mortality was 42.5% at one year. Conclusion: Stomach cancer is common in the ward. Most patients consult at the stage of.metastasis. Palliative surgery remains the most practical. Postoperative morbidity and mortality is very high.

Background: This study assessed the ef.ect of.a nutrition education intervention. This intervention aimed to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of.mothers on f.od saf.ty in the peri-urban areas of.Bobo-Dioulasso in Burkina f.so. Methods: A total of.243 mothers of.children under 5 years in the peri-urban of.Bobo-Dioulasso were administered the f.O questionnaire f.r f.od saf.ty knowledge, attitudes, and practices assessment during two cross-sectional surveys, bef.re and af.er the intervention, in January and October 2017. The intervention included two components consisting of.a theoretical phase (counselling and discussion) and cooking demonstrations implemented f.r ten months. To account f.r the bef.re-and-af.er design of.the study, the McNemar’s test was used to assess the ef.ect of.the intervention on f.od saf.ty KAP of.mothers of.children under 5 years. Results: The mean age of.mothers was 29 ± 6.2 years and 50.6% of.them were between 20 and 29 years old. One f.r knowledge (cooking thoroughly with, p-value = 0.0001) and another f.r attitudes (perceived benef.ts of.reheating lef.overs bef.re eating them, p-value = 0.0001), signif.cantly increased af.er the intervention. In terms of.f.od saf.ty practices, all the indicators (cleaning of.dirty surf.ces, plates and utensils and storage of.perishable f.ods) signif.cantly increased (all p = 0.0001 Conclusion: This study provided some evidence of.an ef.ective nutrition education intervention f.r improving maternal KAP on f.od saf.ty f.r their child’s f.eding.

Introduction: Heart f.ilure is a major public health pandemic, particularly in Af.ica, where its prevalence continues to increase. In northern Mali, f.w data exist, hence the interest of.this study with the objective of.studying the epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic and evolutionary aspects of.Heart f.ilure at the regional hospital of.Gao. Patients and Methods: This was a cross-sectional, descriptive study that took place f.om July 2022 to June 2023 in the medical department at Gao Hospital. Results: The hospital prevalence of.heart f.ilure was 44.1%. The mean age was 47.30 ± 20 years (range: 16-88). Hypertension was the most common with 46.1%, f.llowed by a sedentary lif.style, and diabetes with 18.2% and 8.3% respectively;NYHA stage III-IV dyspnea was f.und in 83.9%. Reduced Ef.heart f.ilure was present in 110 patients (76.9%), seventeen cases with moderately reduced Ef.(11.9%) and sixteen patients had preserved Ef.(11.2%). Global heart f.ilure was the dominant (91.6%). The main etiologies of.heart f.ilure were dominated by hypertensive heart disease in 46 patients (32.2%), f.llowed by postpartum cardiomyopathy with 43 cases (30.1%), primary dilated cardiomyopathy in 18 patients (12.6%), ischemic heart disease in 16 patients with 11.2%. Seven cases of.valvular heart disease, or 4.9%. The evolution was f.vorable under treatment in 104 patients or 72.7%. In-hospital mortality was 14.7%. Conclusion: Heart f.ilure is a common condition in sub-Saharan Af.ica, particularly in our country.

In most f.rming systems newly introduced commercial f.rtilizers to be accepted, adopted and used by f.rmers, their ef.ectiveness and appropriate application rates must be exhibited. This study was conducted to validate the ef.ect and rates of.a bio-f.rtilizer (super agric) on oil palm seedling growth. The trial was laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three application rates of.0, 4 and 8 ml/L of.water (treatments) replicated thrice. f.llowing the application of.super agric to oil palm seedlings f.r a period of.six months, observations drawn f.om the analysis of.growth data were as f.llows: Three months af.er treatment, super agric signif.cantly (P f.oil palm seedling compared to those which were not applied with super agric. The results also showed that when super agric was applied at a rate of.4 ml/L, the leaf.length and breadth were higher compared to the control were super agric was not used. f.rthermore, applications of.super agric improved oil palm seedling nitrogen uptake by 31% in treatment groups as compared to the control which explained the height and breadth increase in the oil palm seedlings that were applied with super agric. On the other hand, the ef.ect of.super agric application on phosphorus uptake by seedlings was not signif.cant. Although the height, breadth, leaf.width and length were all signif.cantly af.ected by super agric application, the number of.oil palm leaves and spears were not af.ected f.r the period the experiment was conducted. Six months af.er application of.super agric the growth of.oil palm seedlings was f.vorably impacted, hence we recommend super agric to be promoted among oil palm seedling growers.
