Introduction :The psoriasis is one of.the inf.ammatory dermatoses with unknown etiology, with chronic evolution having episodic appearance and disappearance. Its prevalence in HIV patients varied f.om 2% to 5% in most of.the times. Ob.ective of.this study was to describ. the demographic, clinical and therapeutic characteristics of.psoriasis patients inf.cted with HIV. Methods: It is a descriptive retrospective study done f.om January 2003 to Decemb.r 2013 b.sed on the inf.rmation f.om the hospital card of.hospitalized patients and outpatients taken care in the department of.Dermatology-STD f.r psoriasis at the University hospital center in Donka Conakry. We included all the cases of.psoriasis associated with HIV inf.ction diagnosed f.om clinical and paraclinical elements. Results: We recorded 23 (24.73%) cases of.psoriasis associated with HIV inf.ction among 93 patients ob.erved f.r psoriasis in which there are 4 cases of.psoriasis vulgaris, 10 cases of.erythrodermic psoriasis and 9 cases of.arthropathic f.rm among these numb.rs. We had 7 women and 16 men. The medium age of.our patients was 44.5 ± 12 years [27 - 62 years]. The delayed duration time of.consultation varied f.om 30 to more than 180 days. The psoriasis was the circumstance of.the discovery of.the HIV inf.ction among 55% of.cases. The pruritus was the f.nctional sign which is the most f.equent in 20 cases among 23 cases and 71.4% of.cases were accompanied with pain. f.mily history was f.und in 7.10% of.cases. Anxiety was the dominant f.ctor cause in 42% and the inf.ction 38%. The cutaneous alteration was noted in all patients;92.9% of.patients had nails alteration and intertrigineous association in 78.6% of.cases. The clinical f.rms f.und were psoriasis vulgaris 4/23 cases, arthropathic psoriasis 9/23 cases, erythrodermic psoriasis 10/23. More than half.(13/23) cases of.our patients were diagnosed stage III of.the classif.cation of.WHO. Ob.ective: The aim of.the work describ.d here was to evaluate the role of.contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in response evaluation f.r unresectab.e advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with tyrosine kinase inhib.tors (TKIs) plus anti-programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) antib.dy therapy. Methods: A prospective cohort of.consecutive patients with HCC who received comb.ned TKI/anti-PD-1 antib.dy treatment f.r unresectab.e HCC b.tween January 2022 and Octob.r 2022 was included in this study. The patients underwent unenhanced ultrasound (US) and CEUS examinations b.f.re treatment and at f.llow-up. Changes in the largest diameters of.the target tumor on unenhanced US and the largest diameters of.the enhancing target tumors on CEUS were evaluated. Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) version 1.1 with unenhanced US and magnetic resonance imaging/computed tomography (MRI/CT) and modif.ed RECIST (mRECIST) with CEUS and CEMRI/CT were used to assess treatment response. Results: A total of.24 HCC patients (23 men and 1 woman; mean age: 56.5 ± 8.5 y; b.rcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C, 62.5%; 29 intrahepatic target tumors) were studied. Calculations of.degree of.necrosis in the target tumors revealed no signif.cant dif.erences b.tween CEUS and CEMRI/CT (44.5 ± 36.2% vs. 45.3 ± 36.8%, p = 0.862). As f.r the dif.erentiation of.responders f.om non-responders, the agreement b.tween RECIST version 1.1 of.unenhanced US and mRECIST-CEUS was poor (κ coef.icient = 0.233). Meanwhile, there was a high degree of.concordance b.tween mRECIST-CEUS and mRECIST-CEMRI/CT (κ coef.icient = 0.812). The CNO cycle is the main source of.energy in stars more massive than our Sun.This process def.nes the energy production,the duration of.which can b. used to determine the lif.time of.massive stars.The cycle is an important tool f.r determining the age of.glob.lar clusters.Radiative proton capture via p+^(14)N→^(15)O+γ,at energies of.astrophysical interest,is an important process in the CNO cycle.In this project,we apply a potential model to describ. b.th non-resonant and resonant reactions in the channels where radiative capture occurs through electric E1 transitions.We employed the R-matrix method to describ. the ongoing reactions via M1 resonant transitions,when it was not possib.e to correctly reproduce the experimental data using the potential model.The partial components of.the astrophysical S-f.ctor are calculated f.r all possib.e electric and magnetic dipole transitions in ^(15)O.The linear extrapolated S-f.ctor at zero energy(S(0))agrees well with earlier reported values f.r all transition types considered in this work.b.sed on the value of.the total astrophysical S-f.ctor,depending on the collision energy,we calculate the nuclear reaction rates f.r p+^(14)N→^(15)O+γ.The computed rates agree well with the results reported in the NACRE II Collab.ration and most recent existing measurements.

Using dislocation-b.sed constitutive modeling in three-dimension crystal plasticity f.nite element(3D CPf.)simulations,co-def.rmation and instab.lity of.hetero-phase interf.ce in dif.erent material systems were herein studied f.r polycrystalline metal matrix composites(MMCs).Local stress and strain f.elds in two types of.3layer MMCs such as f.c/f.c Cu-Ag and f.c/b.c Cu-Nb.have b.en predicted under simple compressive def.rmations.Accordingly,more severe strain-induced interf.ce instab.lity can b. ob.erved in the f.c/b.c systems than in the f.c/f.c systems upon ref.ning to metallic nanolayered composites(MNCs).b. detailed analysis of.stress and strain localization,it has b.en demonstrated that the interf.ce instab.lity is always accompanied b. high-stress concentration,i.e.,thermodynamic characteristics,or high strain prevention i.e.,kinetic characteristics,at the hetero-phase interf.ce.It then f.llows that the thermodynamic driving f.rceG and the kinetic energy b.rrier Q during dislocation and shear b.nding can b. adopted to classif. the def.rmation modes,f.llowing the so-called thermo-kinetic correlation.Then b. inserting a high density of.high-energy interf.ces into the Cu-Nb.composites,such thermo-kinetic integration at the hetero-phase interf.ce allows a successf.l estab.ishment of.MMCs with the high△G-high Q def.rmation mode,which ensures high hardening and unif.rm strain distri-b.tion,thus ef.iciently suppressing the shear b.nd,stab.lizing the hetero-phase interf.ce,and ob.aining an exceptional comb.nation in strength and ductility.Such hetero-phase interf.ce chosen b. a couple of.thermodynamics and kinetics can b. def.ned as b.eaking the thermo-kinetic correlation and has b.en proposed f.r artif.cially designing MNCs.

Nonlinear corrections f.r the nuclear gluon distrib.tion in eA processes

An analytical study with respect to the nonlinear corrections f.r the nuclear gluon distrib.tion f.nction in the next-to-leading order approximation at small x is presented.We consider the nonlinear corrections to the nuclear gluon distrib.tion f.nctions at low values of.x and Q^(2) using the parametrization f.(2)(x,Q^(2))and the nuclear modif.cation f.ctors ob.ained f.om the Khanpour-Soleymaninia-Atashb.r-Spiesb.rger-Guzey model.The CT18 gluon distrib.tion is used f.r the b.seline proton gluon density at Q^(2)_(0)=1.69GeV2.We discuss the b.havior of.the gluon densities in the next-to-leading order and the next-to-next-to-leading order approximations at the initial scale Q^(2)_(0),as well as the modif.cations due to the nonlinear corrections.We f.nd that the QCD nonlinear corrections are more signif.cant f.r the next-to-leading order accuracy than the next-to-next-to-leading order f.r light and heavy nuclei.The results of.the nonlinear GLR-MQ evolution equation are similar to those ob.ained with the Rausch-Guzey-Klasen gluon upward and downward evolutions within the uncertainties.The magnitude of.the gluon distrib.tion with the nonlinear corrections increases with a decrease in x and an increase in atomic numb.r A.

Solid oral controlled release f.rmulations f.ature numerous clinical advantages f.r drug candidates with adequate solub.lity and dissolution rate.However,most new chemical entities exhib.t poor water solub.lity,and hence are exempt f.om such b.nef.ts.Although comb.ning drug amorphization with controlled release f.rmulation is promising to elevate drug solub.lity,like other supersaturating systems,the prob.em of.drug recrystallization has yet to b. resolved,particularly within the dosage f.rm.Here,we explored the potential of.an emerging,non-leachab.e terpolymer nanoparticle(TPN)pore f.rmer as an internal recrystallization inhib.tor within controlled release amorphous solid dispersion(CRASD)b.ads comprising a poorly solub.e drug(celecoxib.reservoir and insolub.e polymer(ethylcellulose)memb.ane.Compared to conventional pore f.rmer,polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP),TPN-containing memb.anes exhib.ted superior structural integrity,less crystal f.rmation at the CRASD b.ad surf.ce,and greater extent of.celecoxib.release.All-atom molecular dynamics analyses revealed that in the presence of.TPN,intra-molecular b.nding,crystal f.rmation tendency,dif.usion coef.icient,and molecular f.exib.lity of.celecoxib.were reduced,while intermolecular H-b.nding was increased as compared to PVP.This work suggests that selection of.a pore f.rmer that promotes prolonged molecular separation within a nanoporous controlled release memb.ane structure may serve as an ef.ective strategy to enhance amorphicity preservation inside CRASD.

b.CKGROUND Validation of.the ref.rence gene(RG)stab.lity during experimental analyses is essential f.r correct quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)data normalisation.Commonly,in an unreliab.e way,several studies use genes involved in essential cellular f.nctions[glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydro-genase(GAPDH),18S rRNA,andβ-actin]without paying attention to whether they are suitab.e f.r such experimental conditions or the reason f.r choosing such genes.f.rthermore,such studies use only one gene when Minimum Inf.rmation f.r Pub.ication of.Quantitative Real-Time PCR Experiments guidelines recom-mend two or more genes.It impacts the credib.lity of.these studies and causes dis-tortions in the gene expression f.ndings.f.r tissue engineering,the accuracy of.gene expression drives the b.st experimental or therapeutical approaches.We cultivated DPSCs under two conditions:Undif.erentiated and osteogenic dif.f.rentiation,b.th f.r 35 d.We evaluated the gene expression of.10 candidates f.r RGs[rib.somal protein,large,P0(RPLP0),TATA-b.nding protein(Tb.),GAPDH,actin b.ta(ACTb.,tub.lin(TUb.,aminolevulinic acid synthase 1(ALAS1),tyro-sine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein,zeta(YWHAZ),eukaryotic translational elongation f.ctor 1 alpha(Ef.a),succinate dehydrogenase complex,sub.nit A,f.avoprotein(SDHA),and b.ta-2-micro-glob.lin(b.M)]every 7 d(1,7,14,21,28,and 35 d)b. Ob.ectives:Persistent olf.ctory dysf.nction(OD)f.llowing loss of.smell associated with SARS-CoV-2 inf.ction is a major f.ature of.long COVID.Perspectives on the prevalence of.persistent OD predominantly rely on self.reported olf.ctory f.nction.f.w studies have tracked longitudinal rates of.recovery using psychophysical assessment among patients presenting f.r evaluation of.persistent OD b.yond a window of.acute recovery.Data anchored in standardized testing methods are needed to counsel patients who f.il to acutely regain their sense of.smell.This study aims to quantif. the degree of.persistent OD in post-COVID-19 patients who experience sub.ective and psychophysical OD.Methods:We grouped participants presenting f.r OD evaluation into cohorts b.sed on b.th sub.ective and psychophysical olf.ctory status at a b.seline assessment and assessed their olf.ctory ab.lities with a visual analogue scale and the Snif.in'Sticks extended test at b.seline and 1-year time points.Participants had conf.rmed a history of.COVID-19 b. lab.evaluation or clinical diagnosis if.lab.evaluation was not availab.e.Results:b.seline olf.ctory evaluation was completed b. 122 participants,53 of.whom completed the 1-year f.llow-up assessment.Among participants presenting with perceived OD,74.5%had conf.rmed psychophysical OD at b.seline,with 55.1%at 1-year f.llow-up.Participants had reliab.e trends in self.rated versus psychophysically tested olf.ctory f.nction at b.th time points.The total threshold,discrimination,and identif.cation(TDI)score improved b.+3.25 points in the cohort with psychophysical OD(p=0.0005),with this improvement largely attrib.tab.e to an increase in median threshold scores(+2.75 points;p=0.0004).Conclusions:OD persists in a signif.cant numb.r of.patients who f.il to acutely recovery their sense of.smell af.er COVID-19,with many demonstrating lingering def.cits at 1-year.Improvements in threshold,b.t not discrimination or identif.cation,most signif.cantly mediate improvement of.total TDI score at f.llow-up.

Ob.ective To investigate the role of.the TNf.Sf.2A molecule in the pathogenesis of.liver cancer. Methods Through comprehensive analysis of.the Cancer Genome Atlas Program（TCGA）datab.se and single-cell sequencing data，we studied the expression of.TNf.Sf.2A in liver cancer and its correlation with prognosis. HPA datab.se was utilized to analyze the sub.ellular localization of.TNf.Sf.2A，and GO and KEGG analyses were perf.rmed b. DAVID. TIME 2.0 was employed to analyze the correlation b.tween TNf.Sf.2A and immune cell inf.ltration in liver cancer tissues. Results TNf.Sf.2A was f.und to b. highly expressed in liver cancer tissues，signif.cantly correlating with patient survival prognosis（OS：HR=1.61，P=0.007 0；Rf.：HR=1.45，P=0.037 0；Pf.：HR=1.30，P=0.099 0；DSS：HR=1.67，P=0.027 0），as well as age（P=0.046 7）and b.LC stage（P=0.045 6）. TNf.Sf.2A co-expressed with tumor stem cell markers（CD24，SOX4，ANPEP），indicating a strong link to malignancy. f.rthermore，molecular f.nctional analysis unveiled that IL-2R primarily existed in the cell cytoplasm and played a role in processes such as cell apoptosis，invasion，and protein b.nding. Moreover，TNf.Sf.2A was associated with Treg cells and immune cell inf.ltration，f.rther suggesting its role in tumor immune regulation. Conclusion TNf.Sf.2A exhib.ts a signif.cant elevation within liver tumors and shows a notab.e correlation with patients’prognosis. Tumor cells engage in interactions with cytokines produced b.
