Photocatalysts for harvesting solar energy to either electricity or chemical fuels have attracted much attention recently, but they have big obstacles such as wide bandgaps and rapid charge recombinations to overcome for final applications. In this study, we investigates a useful method to utilize vanadium redox pairs, which are commonly applied for vanadium redox flow batteries, to diminish charge recombinations and thus to enhance photocurrent response in regenerative solar energy storage. The results reveal significant improvements in photocurrent density by forming cuprous and cupric oxides in TiO_(2)/Cu_(x)O electrodes under solar AM 1.5 illuminations using the vanadium photoelectrochemical storage cell at 0.025 mol L^(-1) of vanadium redox species in the acid electrolytes. In addition, the stabilized photocurrent density of the copper content optimized TiO_(2)/Cu_(x)O electrodes is almost tripled from the TiO_(2) only electrode because the charge recombinations can be mitigated with the content optimized TiO_(2)/Cu_(x)O electrodes. Therefore, the optimized TiO_(2)/Cu_(x)O electrode results in the highest charge storing performance in the catholyte chamber, and the roles of vanadium redox species are also clearly demonstrated.

Although all-inorganic perovskites possess suitable bandgap and thermal stability for photovoltaic ap-plications,the unstable film morphologies,and poor moisture stabilities lag behind the organic-inorganic hybrid ***,we demonstrate that high qualityα-CsPbI_(2 ) Br films with improved phase sta-bility,high crystallinity,and pinhole-free film morphology was achieved by employing tetramethylammo-nium chloride(TMACl)as an *** a result,the TMACl-added CsPbI_(2) Br films exhibited high power conversion efficiency of 14.12%with an open-circuit voltage of 1.19 V,a short-circuit current density of 15.08 mA/cm^(2),and a fill factor of *** importantly,the TMACl addition imparts hydrophobicity to the film surface of CsPbI_(2) Br,which delivered excellent stability up to 30 days in the ambient condition and thermal stability at 85℃ for 156 h,***,the TMACl-added device also exhibited excellent PCE of 27.16%under indoor light source(1000 lux),which presents a promising approach for designing stable but high performance all-inorganic perovskite solar cells.

Introduction A xanthoma is a benign lesion consisting of foamy cells characterized by a highly vacuolated *** lesions can develop anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract but most often occur in the stomach,duodenum,or esophagus and very rarely in the colon[1].Gastric xanthoma shows a high incidence in gastric cancer patients and is reportedly an independent predictor of gastric cancer[2].Although adenomas associated with colorectal xanthoma were first reported in 1997,clear evidence supporting an association between xanthoma and colorectal adenoma or cancer is lacking[3].furthermore,the association between adenoma and lipid deposits is unproven,and although adenoma has been found adjacent to or around xanthoma,this is more likely coincidental.

BACKGROUND Radical resection is the only indicator associated with survival in extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(EHCC).However,limited data are available regarding the implications of dysplasia at the resection margin following *** To evaluate the prognostic significance of dysplasia-positive margins in patients diagnosed with *** We reviewed the records of patients who had undergone surgery for EHCC with curative intent between January 2013 and July *** retrospectively analyzed the clinicopathological data of 116 patients followed for longer than 3 *** status of resection margin was used to classify patients into negative low-grade dysplasia(LGD)and high-grade dysplasia(HGD)/carcinoma in situ(CIS)*** Based on postoperative status,72 patients underwent resection with negative margins,19 had LGD-positive margins,and 25 showed HGD/CIS-positive *** mean survival rates of the patients with negative margins,LGD margins,and HGD/CIS margins were 49.1±4.5,47.3±6.0,and 20.8±4.4 mo,respectively(Pfference in survival was found between groups with LGD margins and negative margins(P=0.56).In the multivariate analysis,age>70 years and HGD/CIS-positive margins were significant independent factors for survival(hazard ratio=1.90 and 2.47,respectively).CONCLUSION HGD/CIS margin in resected EHCC is associated with a poor ***,the LGDpositive resection margin is not a significant indicator of survival in patients with EHCC.

Container technology plays an essential role in many Information and Communications Technology(ICT)***,containers face a diversity of threats caused by vulnerable packages within container *** vulnerability scanning solutions for container images are *** solutions entirely depend on the information extracted from package *** a result,packages installed directly from the source code compilation,or packages downloaded from the repository,etc.,are *** introduce DAVS–A Dockerfile analysis-based vulnerability scanning framework for OCI-based container images to deal with the limitations of existing *** performs static analysis using file extraction based on Dockerfile information to obtain the list of Potentially Vulnerable files(PVfs).The PVfs are then scanned to figure out the vulnerabilities in the target container *** experimental shows the outperform of DAVS on detecting Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures(CVE)of 10 known vulnerable images compared to Clair–the most popular container image scanning ***,DAVS found that 68%of real-world container images are vulnerable from different image registries.

Recently,reactive materials have been developed for penetrative projectiles to improve impact resistance and energy ***,the design of a reactive material structure,involving shape and size,is challenging because of difficulties such as high non-linearity of impact resistance,manufacturing limitations of reactive materials and high expenses of penetration *** this study,a design optimization methodology for the reactive material structure is developed based on the finite element analysis.A finite element model for penetration analysis is introduced to save the expenses of the *** resistance is assessed through the analysis,and result is calibrated by comparing with experimental *** on the model,topology optimization is introduced to determine shape of the *** design variables and constraints of the optimization are proposed considering the manufacturing limitations,and the optimal shape that can be manufactured by cold spraying is *** on the optimal shape,size optimization is introduced to determine the geometric dimensions of the *** a result,optimal design of the reactive material structure and steel case of the penetrative projectile,which maximizes the impact resistance,is *** the design process proposed in this study,reactive material structures can be designed considering not only mechanical performances but also manufacturing limitations,with reasonable time and cost.

Pb contamination in aquatic environments causes severe pollution;therefore,harmless absorbents are *** this study,we report a novel synthesis of whitlockite(WH,Ca_(18)Mg_(2)(HPO_(4))_(2)(PO_(4))_(12)),which is the second most abundant biomineral in human bone,and its application as a high-performing Pb^(2+)***(HAP)and WH are prepared via a simple precipitation *** Pb2+absorption performance and mechanism of the synthesized biominerals are investigated in aqueous solutions at neutral *** results demonstrate that WH exhibits an excellent Pb2+absorption capacity of 2339 mg g^(−1),which is 1.68 times higher than the recorded value for ***,the absorbed Pb^(2+) ions are recycled into high-purity PbI_(2).This is employed as a precursor for the fabrication of perovskite solar cells(PSCs),resulting in a conversion efficiency of 19.00%comparable to that of commercial PbI2 powder(99.99%purity).Our approach provides an efficient way to remove Pb^(2+)ions from water and reuse them in the recycling of PSCs.
