In this contribution,we analyzed a pair of mafic samples collected from a recently identified shear zone and its proximal footwall from the Manicouagan Imbricate Zone(MIZ)of the central Grenville Province,Québec,*** petrochronology,metamorphic phase equilibria modelling,trace element thermometry,and electron backscattered diffraction data were used to define a Pressure-Temperature-timeDeformation path for the two *** interconnected dislocation network within titanite grains,as outlined with Kerneled Average Misorientation maps,are spatially correlated with variation in the U-Pb system but not with that observed for trace element These results suggest that the U-Pb system was decoupled from trace and rare earth elements and that deformation,rather than interface-coupled dissolution-precipitation reactions or re-crystallisation,was the main driver for this *** addition to highlighting a potential pitfall of titanite petrochronology,our P-T-t-D path reveals that ductile shear zones were active later than previously suggested within the MIZ.

This study presents a re-examination of historical specimens(DG136 and DG167)from the Monashee complex in the southeastern Canadian Cordillera that are critical to the current understanding of rare earth element(REE)distribution between garnet and monazite(and other accessory minerals)during ***-hundred and fifty-one new monazite petrochronology spot analyses on 29 different grains across two specimens outline detailed(re)crystallization *** element data collected from the same ablated volume,interpreted in the context of new phase equilibria modelling that includes monazite,xenotime and apatite,link ages to specific portions of the pressure-temperature(P-T)paths followed by the *** linkages are further informed by garnet Lu-Hf geochronology and xenotime *** clockwise P-T paths indicate prograde metamorphism was ongoing by ca.80 Ma in both *** structurally deeper specimen,DG136,records peak P-T conditions of~755-770℃and 8.8-10.4 kbar,interpreted to coincide with(re-)crystallization of low Y monazite at~75-70 ***-rim garnet isopleths from DG167 cross in the observed peak assemblage field at~680℃ and 9.3 *** conditions are interpreted to correspond with low Y monazite(re-)crystallisation at~65 *** specimens record decompression along their retrograde path coincident with high Y 70-55 Ma and 65-55 Ma monazite populations in DG136 and DG167,*** findings broadly agree with those initially reported~20 years ago and confirm early interpretations using trace elements in monazite as generally reliable markers of metamorphic *** phase equilibria modelling and in situ petrochronological analysis,however,provide additional insight into monazite behaviour during anatexis and the effects of potential trace element buffering by REE-bearing phases such as apatite.

Introduction: The Coronavirus pandemic was responsible for an unprecedented health crisis that shook the world with its high contagiousness and lethality. Its impact on maternal and fetal health places pregnant women at high risk. The aim of our study was to determine the factors associated with the occurrence of COVID-19 in pregnant women, and the maternal and perinatal outcomes of infected patients. Methodology: This was a case-control study involving 42 cases matched to 42 controls recruited from two public and tertiary hospitals in the cities of Yaoundé and Douala over a period from November 31 to May 31, 2024. Cases were defined as deliveries or records of COVID-19 deliveries confirmed positive by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) or by a COVID-19 rapid diagnostic test (Covid-RDT). Controls were defined as deliveries or records of deliveries negative to the same test. They were matched by the hospital. Non-consenting births and unusable records were excluded. The data collected were recorded on a pre-established, pretexted data sheet examining sociodemographic, clinical characteristics and maternal and perinatal outcomes which were then analyzed using SPSS version 23.0 software. Results: After multivariate analysis, the independent sociodemographic factors were: belonging to the [30 - 40] age group (OR: 4.4;P = 0.010), being married (OR: 8.1;P = 0.030);being unemployed (OR: 3;P = 0.040). Independent clinical factors were: being in the third trimester of pregnancy (OR: 1.1;P = 0.017), being diabetic (OR: 5;P = 0.033) and being obese (OR: 11.5;P = 0.043). Independent factors associated with maternal outcome were: caesarean section (OR: 10;P = 0.001);admission to intensive care (OR: 30.7;P = 0.013);SO2 ≤ 94% (OR: 11.7;P = 0.033);HR > 100 (OR: 15.5;P = 0.001). Background: The use of assisted reproductive technique (ART) is becoming more common in infertility. During ART most patients undergo ovarian stimulation. In this study we study the correlation between ovarian reserve markers: Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) and antral follicle count (AfC), and the response to ovarian stimulation at in vitro fertilization (IVf) centres in Douala Cameroon. Methods: This was a hospital based cross-sectional sectional analytic study carried out over a period of 3 years, 4 months at Clinique de l’Aéroport, Clinique Odyssée and Clinique Urogyn. Inclusion criteria were: female partners of infertile couples undergoing ovarian stimulation for an in vitro fertilization cycle, patients who had both ovaries and had done either AMH, AfC or both before ovarian stimulation. Patients were divided into three groups based on the number of oocytes retrieved: low ovarian response for ≤3 oocytes, normal ovarian response for 4 - 15 oocytes and high ovarian response for >15 oocytes. Data obtained was analyzed by SPSS version 25.0. Results: The ages of participants ranged from 20 - 4 7 years, with a mean age of 34.11 ± 5.11 years. Most of them had secondary infertility (57.9%). The GnRH antagonist protocol was mainly used, and ovulation was triggered using HCG predominantly. On Multivariate analysis, age and history of PCOS were significantly associated with ovarian response in the low and high ovarian response groups, respectively. Conclusion: AMH has a better predictive value than AfC, however, it is less sensitive but more specific than AfC.

Monitoring of host cell proteins(HCPs)during the manufacturing of monoclonal antibodies(mAb)has become a critical requirement to provide effective and safe drug ***-linked immunosorbent assays are still the gold standard methods for the quantification of protein ***,this technique has several limitations and does,among others,not enable the precise identification of *** this context,mass spectrometry(MS)became an alternative and orthogonal method that delivers qualitative and quantitative information on all identified ***,in order to be routinely implemented in biopharmaceutical companies,liquid chromatography-MS based methods still need to be standardized to provide highest sensitivity and robust and accurate ***,we present a promising MS-based analytical workflow coupling the use of an innovative quantification standard,the HCP Profiler solution,with a spectral library-based data-independent acquisition(DIA)method and strict data validation *** performances of the HCP Profiler solution were compared to more conventional standard protein spikes and the DIA approach was benchmarked against a classical datadependent acquisition on a series of samples produced at various stages of the manufacturing *** we also explored spectral library-free DIA interpretation,the spectral library-based approach still showed highest accuracy and reproducibility(coefficients of variationflow is today mature to be used as a robust and straightforward method to support mAb manufacturing process developments and drug products quality control.

The production of high quality single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)on a bulk scale has been an issue of considerable ***,it has been demonstrated that high quality SWCNTs can be continuously synthesized on large scale by using induction thermal plasma *** this process,the high energy density of the thermal plasma is employed to generate dense vapor-phase precursors for the synthesis of *** the current reactor system,a carbon soot product which contains approximately 40 wt%of SWCNTs can be continuously synthesized at the high production rate of~100 g/*** this article,our recent research efforts to achieve major advances in this technology are ***,the processing parameters involved are examined systematically in order to evaluate their individual inuences on the SWCNT synthesis.Based on these results,the appropriate operating conditions of the induction thermal plasma process for an effective synthesis of SWCNTs are discussed.A characterization study has also been performed on the SWCNTs produced under the optimum processing ***,a mathematical model of the process currently under development is *** model will help us to better understand the synthesis of SWCNTs in the induction plasma process.

中国是世界上最大的蔬菜生产国和消费国,蔬菜种植面积居世界第一位,其中育苗移栽是蔬菜生产过程中的重要环节,约有60%以上的蔬菜品种采用育苗移栽的种植方式。机械化移栽不仅可以减少人工成本,提高生产效率,而且种植的秧苗行距、株距、深度一致,可实现蔬菜生产过程的全程规范化管理,从而提高蔬菜品质与产量。植苗机构是蔬菜移栽机的核心工作部件,其性能直接影响着秧苗的栽植质量。但目前植苗机构多用于大株距（大于300mm）的蔬菜移栽,不能满足中小株距种植蔬菜的需求。因此,本文提出并设计了一种能够满足蔬菜中小株距种植要求的非圆齿轮行星轮系式植苗机构,并对其开展了运动学建模、参数优化、仿真分析、样机试制与试验等研究工作。具体研究内容如下:1)探讨了国内外旱地移栽机的研究现状,分析总结了国内外具有代表性的自动植苗机构结构特点、工作原理以及优缺点。根据蔬菜钵苗中小株距种植要求,提出了中小株距蔬菜钵苗种植所需的运动轨迹（静轨迹与动轨迹）姿态要求,进而确定了植苗机构的整体设计要求。2)根据植苗机构设计要求,确定了中小株距蔬菜钵苗植苗机构的总体设计方案,包括两级非圆齿轮传动方案以及鸭嘴栽植器的开合方式。阐述了中小株距蔬菜钵苗植苗机构的工作原理,并建立了其运动学模型。3)利用建立的机构运动学模型,基于Visual Basic 6.0软件平台,开发了中小株距蔬菜钵苗植苗机构辅助分析优化设计软件。分析了各主要机构参数对植苗机构运动轨迹和姿态的影响,并通过人机交互的方式优化得到一组能够满足蔬菜钵苗中小株距栽植要求的机构参数。4)根据优化得到的植苗机构参数,对中小株距蔬菜钵苗植苗机构进行了结构设计,建立了其三维模型并进行虚拟样机仿真,分析得出仿真结果与理论设计基本一致,初步验证了植苗机构设计的正确性和可行性。5)完成了中小株距蔬菜钵苗植苗机构物理样机的加工和装配,并在试验台上进行了机构运动学特性试验与植苗试验。试验结果表明:机构实际运动轨迹姿态与理论设计、仿真结果基本一致;植苗效率90株/（min·行）,理论株距为225mm时,栽植成功率97%,综合平均栽植成功率95%,满足种植要求,验证了所设计植苗机构的可行性与实用性。

Citrus sinensis commonly called sweet orange belongs to the family Rutaceae. Nutritionally, it is highly recommended due to its high content of micronutrients. However, the rejection of a large amount of epicarp in nature contributes to the emission of greenhouse gas and the development of leachate which contaminate surface water and groundwater. The aim of this work was to identify the essential oil components from Citrus sinensis epicarp, and then look after the biological activity of these components in order to underline the worth to reuse the Citrus sinensis epicarp as a gainful mean. The essential oil of 4,000 g of Citrus sinensis epicarp was done through the water steam distillation and 0.0287 g of essential oil was obtained; so a yield of 0.0007%. The essential oil was then submitted to gas chromatography-flame ionization detector （GC-f1D）. The result revealed that the essential oil was teemed with 28 volatile compounds, including terpene compounds （50%）, aldehydes （32%） and alcohols （18%） whose anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, larvicidal and antioxidant activities were underlined.
