The isothermal tetragonal-to-monoclinic phase transformation of 3 mol fraction Y2O3-ZrO2 ceramics contain- ing different amounts of Al2O3 during ageing in water at 130℃ for periods of time up to 40 h was investigated to explore the effect of Al2O3 addition on this transformation. The propagation of the transformation into the specimen interiors was suppressed by the addition of Al2O3. The transformation kinetics showed a nucleation and growth mechanism on the specimen surface to be dominant in the low temperature ageing in water environment.

This editorial builds on the article titled“Establishment and validation of an adherence prediction system for lifestyle interventions in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease”by Zeng et *** carried out a critical examination of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)pathogenesis and how lifestyle interventions could facilitate disease resolution,particularly highlighting that non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NAsH)is a severe form of *** discussion details that weight loss is a pivotal factor in disease outcomes:A 3%-5%reduction is enough for resolution in 50%of non-obese individuals,while a 7%-10%reduction achieves similar benefits in obese individuals,as demonstrated by magnetic resonance ***,the editorial underscores that such lifestyle changes are instrumental not only in resolving NAFLD but also in reversing hepatic steatosis and *** insights,derived from the research,emphasize the critical role of personalized lifestyle modifications in halting the progression of NAFLD to NAsH and even reversing fibrosis,thus offering a template for effective patient management.

Microbially induced carbonate precipitation(MICP)is a new technology having the potential to induce soil stabilization and provide a green and sustainable comprehensive solution to some geotechnical engineering problems in the *** present article is dedicated to present a critical review of this technology and discuss its mechanisms of action and the key factors influencing its *** global experiences and national participation from Egypt are demonstrated,in addition to attempts for real life *** review provides an insight into the practical steps taken to mitigate some of the current limitations of MICP application and the identified gaps in analogous *** was concluded that integrating MICP with existing technologies would favor both engineering needs and market *** addition,providing effective solutions to MICP limitations would highlight this technology as an eco-friendly and cost-effective option to several engineering ***,recommendations focused on encouraging global collaboration for knowledge transfer about this technology among different countries,as well as positive financial support from industrial entities to aid in the progress of scientific research and achieving large-scale applications in the near future,are provided.

The gallbladder(GB)is a susceptible organ,prone to various pathologies that can be identified using different imaging *** ultrasound(TUs)is typically the initial diagnostic method due to its numerous well-established ***,in cases of uncertainty or when a definitive diagnosis cannot be established,computed tomography(CT)or magnetic resonance imaging may be employed to provide more detailed ***,CT scans may sometimes offer inadequate spatial resolution,which can limit the differentiation of GB lesions,particularly when smaller yet clinically relevant abnormalities are ***,endoscopic ultrasound(EUs)provides higher frequency compared to TUs,superior spatial resolution,and the option for contrast-enhanced harmonic imaging,enabling a more comprehensive ***,EUs can serve as a supplementary tool when conventional imaging methods are *** review will describe the standard EUs examination of the GB,focusing on its endosonographic characteristics in various GB path-ologies.

The model of equations of micropolar generalized magneto-thermoelasticity is introduced within the context of the theory of two temperatures generalized thermoelasticity and we consider a problem of an isotropic homogeneous micropolar medium taking into account the heat effects and allowing the magnetic field effects. A plane wave analysis is employed to obtain the exact formulas of the two temperatures （conductive and mechanical）, displacement components, micro-rotation components, stresses, couple stresses, induced electric current, electric field and magnetic field. Arbitrary application is chosen to enable us to get the complete solution. The considered variables are presented graphically and discussions are made for the results.

K5CoW12O40 was used as a highly effective catalyst for the benzylation of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds, β-Keto enol ethers were obtained when cyclic 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds used in this conditions instead of linear ones. The present methodology offers a practical, simple, mild, environmentally friendly, and time-saving method for etherification. Very low loading of catalyst, ease of workup, ease of handling, and reusability of catalyst are other advantages of this catalyst.

12-Tungstophosphoric acid（PW） supported on KsF montmorillonite, PW/KsF, was used as catalyst for deep oxidative desulfurization（ODs） of mixed thiophenic compounds in model oil and crude oil under mild conditions using hydrogen peroxide（H2O2） as an oxidizing agent. A one-factor-at-a-time method was applied for optimizing the parameters such as temperature, reaction time, amount of catalyst, type of extractant and oxidant-tosulfur compounds（s-compounds） molar ratio. The corresponding products can be easily removed from the model oil by using ethanol as the best extractant. The results showed high catalytic activity of PW/KsF in the oxidative removal of dibenzothiophene（DBT） and mixed thiophenic model oil under atmospheric pressure at 75 ℃ in a biphasic system. To investigate the oxidation and adsorption effects of crude oil composition on ODs, the effects of cyclohexene, 1,7-octadiene and o-xylene with different concentrations were studied.
